פִּלַּלְתְּ֙ you have brought justification pil·lalt לַֽאֲחוֹתֵ֔ךְ for your sisters . la·’ă·ḥō·w·ṯêḵ תִּצְדַּ֣קְנָה For they appear more righteous tiṣ·daq·nāh מִמֵּ֑ךְ than you , mim·mêḵ בְּחַטֹּאתַ֛יִךְ because your sins bə·ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯa·yiḵ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- הִתְעַ֥בְתְּ were more vile hiṯ·‘aḇt מֵהֵ֖ן than theirs . mê·hên אַ֥תְּ So you ’at וְגַם־ too wə·ḡam- וּשְׂאִ֣י must bear ū·śə·’î בּ֙וֹשִׁי֙ your shame bō·wō·šî כְלִמָּתֵ֔ךְ and disgrace , ḵə·lim·mā·ṯêḵ אַחְיוֹתֵֽךְ׃ since you have made your sisters ’aḥ·yō·w·ṯêḵ בְּצַדֶּקְתֵּ֖ךְ appear righteous . bə·ṣad·deq·têḵ Ezekiel 16:53 וְשַׁבְתִּי֙ But I will restore wə·šaḇ·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁבִית - šə·ḇīṯ סְדֹם֙ Sodom sə·ḏōm וּבְנוֹתֶ֔יהָ and her daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯe·hā שְׁבִ֣יתְהֶ֔ן from captivity , šə·ḇî·ṯə·hen וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- שְׁבִית as well as šə·ḇīṯ שֹׁמְר֖וֹן Samaria šō·mə·rō·wn וּבְנוֹתֶ֑יהָ and her daughters . ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯe·hā וּשְׁבִית And I will restore you ū·šə·ḇīṯ שְׁבִיתַ֖יִךְ . . . šə·ḇî·ṯa·yiḵ בְּתוֹכָֽהְנָה׃ along with them . bə·ṯō·w·ḵā·hə·nāh Ezekiel 16:54 לְמַ֙עַן֙ So lə·ma·‘an תִּשְׂאִ֣י you will bear tiś·’î כְלִמָּתֵ֔ךְ your disgrace ḵə·lim·mā·ṯêḵ וְנִכְלַ֕מְתְּ and be ashamed wə·niḵ·lamt מִכֹּ֖ל of all mik·kōl אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עָשִׂ֑ית you did ‘ā·śîṯ בְּנַחֲמֵ֖ךְ to comfort them bə·na·ḥă·mêḵ אֹתָֽן׃ - . ’ō·ṯān Ezekiel 16:55 וַאֲחוֹתַ֗יִךְ And your sisters , wa·’ă·ḥō·w·ṯa·yiḵ סְדֹ֤ם Sodom sə·ḏōm וּבְנוֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ with her daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯe·hā וְשֹֽׁמְרוֹן֙ and Samaria wə·šō·mə·rō·wn וּבְנוֹתֶ֔יהָ with her daughters , ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯe·hā תָּשֹׁ֣בְןָ will return tā·šō·ḇə·nā לְקַדְמָתָ֔ן to their former state . lə·qaḏ·mā·ṯān וְאַתְּ֙ You wə·’at וּבְנוֹתַ֔יִךְ and your daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯa·yiḵ תְּשֻׁבֶ֖ינָה . . . tə·šu·ḇe·nāh לְקַדְמַתְכֶֽן׃ . . . lə·qaḏ·maṯ·ḵen תָּשֹׁ֖בְןָ will also return tā·šō·ḇə·nā לְקַדְמָתָ֑ן to your former state . lə·qaḏ·mā·ṯān Ezekiel 16:56 וְל֤וֹא Did you not wə·lō·w הָֽיְתָה֙ treat hā·yə·ṯāh בְּפִ֑יךְ . . . bə·p̄îḵ אֲחוֹתֵ֔ךְ your sister ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯêḵ סְדֹ֣ם Sodom sə·ḏōm לִשְׁמוּעָ֖ה as an object of scorn liš·mū·‘āh בְּי֖וֹם in the day bə·yō·wm גְּאוֹנָֽיִךְ׃ of your pride , gə·’ō·w·nā·yiḵ Ezekiel 16:57 בְּטֶרֶם֮ before bə·ṭe·rem רָעָתֵךְ֒ your wickedness rā·‘ā·ṯêḵ תִּגָּלֶ֣ה was uncovered ? tig·gā·leh כְּמ֗וֹ Even so , kə·mōw עֵ֚ת you are now ‘êṯ חֶרְפַּ֣ת scorned ḥer·paṯ בְּנוֹת־ by the daughters bə·nō·wṯ- אֲרָ֔ם of Edom ’ă·rām וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl סְבִיבוֹתֶ֖יהָ those around her , sə·ḇî·ḇō·w·ṯe·hā בְּנ֣וֹת and by the daughters bə·nō·wṯ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים of the Philistines — pə·liš·tîm מִסָּבִֽיב׃ all those around you mis·sā·ḇîḇ הַשָּׁאט֥וֹת who despise haš·šā·ṭō·wṯ אוֹתָ֖ךְ you . ’ō·w·ṯāḵ Ezekiel 16:58 אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אַ֣תְּ You ’at נְשָׂאתִ֑ים will bear the consequences nə·śā·ṯîm זִמָּתֵ֥ךְ of your lewdness zim·mā·ṯêḵ וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- תּוֹעֲבוֹתַ֖יִךְ your abominations , tō·w·‘ă·ḇō·w·ṯa·yiḵ נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH .
