Ezekiel 16:59 כִּ֣י For kî כֹ֤ה this is what ḵōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar וְעָשִׂית I will deal wə·ʿå̄·śīṯ אוֹתָ֖ךְ with you ’ō·w·ṯāḵ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר according to ka·’ă·šer עָשִׂ֑ית your deeds , ‘ā·śîṯ אֲשֶׁר־ since ’ă·šer- בָּזִ֥ית you have despised bā·zîṯ אָלָ֖ה the oath ’ā·lāh לְהָפֵ֥ר by breaking lə·hā·p̄êr בְּרִֽית׃ the covenant . bə·rîṯ Ezekiel 16:60 אֲנִ֧י But I ’ă·nî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְזָכַרְתִּ֨י will remember wə·zā·ḵar·tî בְּרִיתִ֛י the covenant bə·rî·ṯî בְּרִ֥ית . . . bə·rîṯ אוֹתָ֖ךְ I made with you ’ō·w·ṯāḵ בִּימֵ֣י in the days bî·mê נְעוּרָ֑יִךְ of your youth , nə·‘ū·rā·yiḵ וַהֲקִמוֹתִ֥י and I will establish wa·hă·qi·mō·w·ṯî עוֹלָֽם׃ an everlasting covenant ‘ō·w·lām לָ֖ךְ with you . lāḵ Ezekiel 16:61 וְזָכַ֣רְתְּ Then you will remember wə·zā·ḵart אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דְּרָכַיִךְ֮ your ways də·rā·ḵa·yiḵ וְנִכְלַמְתְּ֒ and be ashamed wə·niḵ·lamt בְּקַחְתֵּ֗ךְ when you receive bə·qaḥ·têḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַגְּדֹל֣וֹת your older hag·gə·ḏō·lō·wṯ אֶל־ and ’el- מִמֵּ֔ךְ mim·mêḵ הַקְּטַנּ֖וֹת younger haq·qə·ṭan·nō·wṯ מִמֵּ֑ךְ . . . mim·mêḵ אֲחוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ sisters . ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯa·yiḵ וְנָתַתִּ֨י I will give wə·nā·ṯat·tî אֶתְהֶ֥ן them ’eṯ·hen לָ֛ךְ to you lāḵ לְבָנ֖וֹת as daughters , lə·ḇā·nō·wṯ וְלֹ֥א but not because of wə·lō מִבְּרִיתֵֽךְ׃ My covenant with you . mib·bə·rî·ṯêḵ Ezekiel 16:62 אֲנִ֛י So I ’ă·nî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַהֲקִימוֹתִ֥י will establish wa·hă·qî·mō·w·ṯî בְּרִיתִ֖י My covenant bə·rî·ṯî אִתָּ֑ךְ with you , ’it·tāḵ וְיָדַ֖עַתְּ and you will know wə·yā·ḏa·‘at כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃ am YHWH , Yah·weh Ezekiel 16:63 לְמַ֤עַן so that lə·ma·‘an בְּכַפְּרִי־ when I make atonement bə·ḵap·pə·rî- לָךְ֙ lāḵ לְכָל־ for lə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁ֣ר all ’ă·šer עָשִׂ֔ית you have done , ‘ā·śîṯ תִּזְכְּרִי֙ you will remember tiz·kə·rî וָבֹ֔שְׁתְּ and be ashamed wā·ḇō·šət וְלֹ֨א and never wə·lō יִֽהְיֶה־ . . . yih·yeh- לָּ֥ךְ lāḵ עוֹד֙ again ‘ō·wḏ פִּתְח֣וֹן open piṯ·ḥō·wn פֶּ֔ה your mouth peh מִפְּנֵ֖י because of mip·pə·nê כְּלִמָּתֵ֑ךְ your disgrace , kə·lim·mā·ṯêḵ נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ס YHWH . ” Yah·weh Ezekiel 17:1 דְבַר־ Now the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 17:2 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֕ם of man , ’ā·ḏām ח֥וּד pose ḥūḏ
