Ezekiel 16:16 וַתִּקְחִ֣י You took wat·tiq·ḥî מִבְּגָדַ֗יִךְ some of your garments mib·bə·ḡā·ḏa·yiḵ וַתַּֽעֲשִׂי־ and made wat·ta·‘ă·śî- טְלֻא֔וֹת colorful ṭə·lu·’ō·wṯ בָּמ֣וֹת high places bā·mō·wṯ לָךְ֙ for yourself , lāḵ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם and on them ‘ă·lê·hem וַתִּזְנִ֖י you prostituted yourself . wat·tiz·nî לֹ֥א Such things should not lō בָא֖וֹת have happened ; ḇā·’ō·wṯ וְלֹ֥א never should wə·lō יִהְיֶֽה׃ they have occurred ! yih·yeh Ezekiel 16:17 וַתִּקְחִ֞י You also took wat·tiq·ḥî תִפְאַרְתֵּ֗ךְ the fine ṯip̄·’ar·têḵ כְּלֵ֣י jewelry kə·lê מִזְּהָבִ֤י of gold miz·zə·hā·ḇî וּמִכַּסְפִּי֙ and silver ū·mik·kas·pî אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer נָתַ֣תִּי I had given nā·ṯat·tî לָ֔ךְ you , lāḵ וַתַּעֲשִׂי־ and you made wat·ta·‘ă·śî- לָ֖ךְ lāḵ זָכָ֑ר male zā·ḵār צַלְמֵ֣י idols ṣal·mê בָֽם׃ with which ḇām וַתִּזְנִי־ to prostitute yourself . wat·tiz·nî- Ezekiel 16:18 וַתִּקְחִ֛י You took wat·tiq·ḥî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רִקְמָתֵ֖ךְ your embroidered riq·mā·ṯêḵ בִּגְדֵ֥י garments biḡ·ḏê וַתְּכַסִּ֑ים to cover them , wat·tə·ḵas·sîm נָתַתִּי and you set nå̄·ṯat·tī וְשַׁמְנִי֙ My oil wə·šam·nî וּקְטָרְתִּ֔י and incense ū·qə·ṭā·rə·tî לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ before them . lip̄·nê·hem Ezekiel 16:19 נָתַ֨תִּי And you set nā·ṯat·tî לָ֜ךְ lāḵ לִפְנֵיהֶ֛ם before them lip̄·nê·hem נִיחֹ֖חַ as a pleasing nî·ḥō·aḥ לְרֵ֥יחַ aroma lə·rê·aḥ וְלַחְמִי֩ the food wə·laḥ·mî אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- וּנְתַתִּ֧יהוּ I had given you — ū·nə·ṯat·tî·hū סֹ֣לֶת the fine flour , sō·leṯ וָשֶׁ֤מֶן oil , wā·še·men וּדְבַשׁ֙ and honey ū·ḏə·ḇaš הֶֽאֱכַלְתִּ֔יךְ that I had fed you . he·’ĕ·ḵal·tîḵ וַיֶּ֑הִי That is what happened , way·ye·hî נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 16:20 וַתִּקְחִ֞י You even took wat·tiq·ḥî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בָּנַ֤יִךְ the sons bā·na·yiḵ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בְּנוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ and daughters bə·nō·w·ṯa·yiḵ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer יָלַ֣דְתְּ you bore yā·laḏt לִ֔י to Me lî וַתִּזְבָּחִ֥ים and sacrificed wat·tiz·bā·ḥîm לָהֶ֖ם them lā·hem לֶאֱכ֑וֹל as food to idols . le·’ĕ·ḵō·wl מִתַּזְנֻתֵךְ׃ Was your prostitution mit·taz·nu·ṯēḵ הַמְעַ֖ט not enough ? ham·‘aṭ Ezekiel 16:21 וַֽתִּשְׁחֲטִ֖י You slaughtered wat·tiš·ḥă·ṭî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בָּנָ֑י My children bā·nāy וַֽתִּתְּנִ֔ים and delivered them up wat·tit·tə·nîm בְּהַעֲבִ֥יר through the fire bə·ha·‘ă·ḇîr אוֹתָ֖ם - ’ō·w·ṯām לָהֶֽם׃ to [idols] . lā·hem Ezekiel 16:22 וְאֵ֤ת And wə·’êṯ כָּל־ in all kāl- תּוֹעֲבֹתַ֙יִךְ֙ your abominations tō·w·‘ă·ḇō·ṯa·yiḵ וְתַזְנֻתַ֔יִךְ and acts of prostitution , wə·ṯaz·nu·ṯa·yiḵ לֹ֥א you did not lō זָכַרְתִּי remember zå̄·ḵar·tī אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְמֵ֣י the days yə·mê
