יְהוִ֖ה YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 16:9 וָאֶרְחָצֵ֣ךְ Then I bathed wā·’er·ḥā·ṣêḵ בַּמַּ֔יִם you with water , bam·ma·yim וָאֶשְׁטֹ֥ף rinsed off wā·’eš·ṭōp̄ דָּמַ֖יִךְ your blood , dā·ma·yiḵ מֵֽעָלָ֑יִךְ . . . mê·‘ā·lā·yiḵ וָאֲסֻכֵ֖ךְ and anointed wā·’ă·su·ḵêḵ בַּשָּֽׁמֶן׃ you with oil . baš·šā·men Ezekiel 16:10 וָאַלְבִּישֵׁ֣ךְ I clothed wā·’al·bî·šêḵ רִקְמָ֔ה you in embroidered cloth riq·māh וָאֶנְעֲלֵ֖ךְ and gave you sandals wā·’en·‘ă·lêḵ תָּ֑חַשׁ of fine leather . tā·ḥaš וָאֶחְבְּשֵׁ֣ךְ I wrapped wā·’eḥ·bə·šêḵ בַּשֵּׁ֔שׁ you in fine linen baš·šêš וַאֲכַסֵּ֖ךְ and covered wa·’ă·ḵas·sêḵ מֶֽשִׁי׃ you with silk . me·šî Ezekiel 16:11 וָאֶעְדֵּ֖ךְ I adorned wā·’e‘·dêḵ עֶ֑דִי you with jewelry , ‘e·ḏî וָאֶתְּנָ֤ה and I put wā·’et·tə·nāh צְמִידִים֙ bracelets ṣə·mî·ḏîm עַל־ on ‘al- יָדַ֔יִךְ your wrists yā·ḏa·yiḵ וְרָבִ֖יד and a chain wə·rā·ḇîḏ עַל־ around ‘al- גְּרוֹנֵֽךְ׃ your neck . gə·rō·w·nêḵ Ezekiel 16:12 וָאֶתֵּ֥ן I put wā·’et·tên נֶ֙זֶם֙ a ring ne·zem עַל־ in ‘al- אַפֵּ֔ךְ your nose , ’ap·pêḵ וַעֲגִילִ֖ים earrings wa·‘ă·ḡî·lîm עַל־ on ‘al- אָזְנָ֑יִךְ your ears , ’ā·zə·nā·yiḵ תִּפְאֶ֖רֶת and a beautiful tip̄·’e·reṯ וַעֲטֶ֥רֶת crown wa·‘ă·ṭe·reṯ בְּרֹאשֵֽׁךְ׃ upon your head . bə·rō·šêḵ Ezekiel 16:13 וַתַּעְדִּ֞י So you were adorned wat·ta‘·dî זָהָ֣ב with gold zā·hāḇ וָכֶ֗סֶף and silver , wā·ḵe·sep̄ וּמַלְבּוּשֵׁךְ֙ and your clothing [was made of] ū·mal·bū·šêḵ שֵׁשִׁי fine linen , šē·šī וָמֶ֙שִׁי֙ silk , wā·me·šî וְרִקְמָ֔ה and embroidered cloth . wə·riq·māh אָכָלְתִּי You ate ʾå̄·ḵå̄·lə·tī סֹ֧לֶת fine flour , sō·leṯ וּדְבַ֛שׁ honey , ū·ḏə·ḇaš וָשֶׁ֖מֶן and oil . wā·še·men בִּמְאֹ֣ד You became very bim·’ōḏ מְאֹ֔ד . . . mə·’ōḏ וַתִּ֙יפִי֙ beautiful wat·tî·p̄î וַֽתִּצְלְחִ֖י and rose to be wat·tiṣ·lə·ḥî לִמְלוּכָֽה׃ queen . lim·lū·ḵāh Ezekiel 16:14 לָ֥ךְ Your lāḵ שֵׁ֛ם fame šêm וַיֵּ֨צֵא spread way·yê·ṣê בַּגּוֹיִ֖ם among the nations bag·gō·w·yim בְּיָפְיֵ֑ךְ on account of your beauty , bə·yā·p̄ə·yêḵ כִּ֣י׀ for kî ה֗וּא it [was] hū כָּלִ֣יל perfect kā·lîl בַּֽהֲדָרִי֙ in the splendor ba·hă·ḏā·rî אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- שַׂ֣מְתִּי I bestowed śam·tî עָלַ֔יִךְ on you , ‘ā·la·yiḵ נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 16:15 עַל־ But because of ‘al- שְׁמֵ֑ךְ your fame , šə·mêḵ וַתִּבְטְחִ֣י you trusted wat·tiḇ·ṭə·ḥî בְיָפְיֵ֔ךְ in your beauty ḇə·yā·p̄ə·yêḵ וַתִּזְנִ֖י and played the harlot . wat·tiz·nî וַתִּשְׁפְּכִ֧י You lavished wat·tiš·pə·ḵî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תַּזְנוּתַ֛יִךְ your favors taz·nū·ṯa·yiḵ עַל־ on ‘al- כָּל־ everyone kāl- עוֹבֵ֖ר who passed by ‘ō·w·ḇêr לוֹ־ , lōw- יֶֽהִי׃ and your beauty was theirs for the asking . ye·hî
