Ezekiel 14:18 אָ֗נִי then as surely ’ā·nî חַי־ as I live , ḥay- נְאֻם֙ declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh הָאֵלֶּה֮ even if these hā·’êl·leh וּשְׁלֹ֨שֶׁת three ū·šə·lō·šeṯ הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים men hā·’ă·nā·šîm בְּתוֹכָהּ֒ were in it , bə·ṯō·w·ḵāh לֹ֥א they could not lō יַצִּ֖ילוּ deliver yaṣ·ṣî·lū בָּנִ֣ים their own sons bā·nîm וּבָנ֑וֹת or daughters . ū·ḇā·nō·wṯ כִּ֛י - kî הֵ֥ם They hêm לְבַדָּ֖ם alone lə·ḇad·dām יִנָּצֵֽלוּ׃ would be delivered . yin·nā·ṣê·lū Ezekiel 14:19 א֛וֹ Or ’ōw אֲשַׁלַּ֖ח if I send ’ă·šal·laḥ דֶּ֥בֶר a plague de·ḇer אֶל־ into ’el- הַהִ֑יא that ha·hî הָאָ֣רֶץ land hā·’ā·reṣ וְשָׁפַכְתִּ֨י and pour out wə·šā·p̄aḵ·tî חֲמָתִ֤י My wrath ḥă·mā·ṯî עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ upon it ‘ā·le·hā בְּדָ֔ם through bloodshed , bə·ḏām לְהַכְרִ֥ית cutting off lə·haḵ·rîṯ מִמֶּ֖נָּה from it mim·men·nāh אָדָ֥ם both man ’ā·ḏām וּבְהֵמָֽה׃ and beast , ū·ḇə·hê·māh Ezekiel 14:20 אָ֗נִי then as surely ’ā·nî חַי־ as I live , ḥay- נְאֻם֙ declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh וְנֹ֨חַ even if Noah , wə·nō·aḥ דָּנִאֵל Daniel , då̄·ni·ʾēl וְאִיּוֹב֮ and Job wə·’î·yō·wḇ בְּתוֹכָהּ֒ were in it , bə·ṯō·w·ḵāh אִם־ they could not ’im- יַצִּ֑ילוּ deliver yaṣ·ṣî·lū בֵּ֥ן [their own] sons bên אִם־ or ’im- בַּ֖ת daughters . baṯ הֵ֥מָּה vvv hêm·māh בְצִדְקָתָ֖ם Their righteousness ḇə·ṣiḏ·qā·ṯām יַצִּ֥ילוּ could deliver yaṣ·ṣî·lū נַפְשָֽׁם׃פ only themselves . nap̄·šām Ezekiel 14:21 כִּי֩ For kî כֹ֨ה this is what ḵōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהֹוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֜ר says : ’ā·mar אַ֣ף ‘ How much worse ’ap̄ כִּֽי־ will it be when kî- שִׁלַּ֖חְתִּי I send šil·laḥ·tî אֶל־ against ’el- יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim אַרְבַּ֣עַת My four ’ar·ba·‘aṯ הָרָעִ֡ים dire hā·rā·‘îm שְׁפָטַ֣י׀ judgments — šə·p̄ā·ṭay חֶ֠רֶב sword , ḥe·reḇ וְרָעָ֞ב famine , wə·rā·‘āḇ רָעָה֙ wild rā·‘āh וְחַיָּ֤ה beasts , wə·ḥay·yāh וָדֶ֔בֶר and plague — wā·ḏe·ḇer לְהַכְרִ֥ית in order to cut off lə·haḵ·rîṯ מִמֶּ֖נָּה from it mim·men·nāh אָדָ֥ם both man ’ā·ḏām וּבְהֵמָֽה׃ and beast ? ū·ḇə·hê·māh Ezekiel 14:22 וְהִנֵּ֨ה Yet , behold , wə·hin·nêh פְּלֵטָ֗ה some survivors pə·lê·ṭāh נֽוֹתְרָה־ will be left nō·wṯ·rāh- בָּ֜הּ in it — bāh בָּנִ֣ים sons bā·nîm וּבָנוֹת֒ and daughters ū·ḇā·nō·wṯ הִנָּם֙ . . . hin·nām הַֽמּוּצָאִים֮ who will be brought out . ham·mū·ṣā·’îm יוֹצְאִ֣ים They will come out yō·wṣ·’îm אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם to you , ’ă·lê·ḵem וּרְאִיתֶ֥ם and when you see ū·rə·’î·ṯem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דַּרְכָּ֖ם their conduct dar·kām וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ-
