אֲשֶׁ֣ר with which ’ă·šer אַ֠תֵּנָה you ’at·tê·nāh מְצֹדְד֨וֹת ensnare mə·ṣō·ḏə·ḏō·wṯ שָׁ֤ם . . . šām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַנְּפָשׁוֹת֙ souls han·nə·p̄ā·šō·wṯ לְפֹ֣רְח֔וֹת like birds , lə·p̄ō·rə·ḥō·wṯ וְקָרַעְתִּ֣י and I will tear wə·qā·ra‘·tî אֹתָ֔ם them ’ō·ṯām מֵעַ֖ל from mê·‘al זְרוֹעֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם your arms . zə·rō·w·‘ō·ṯê·ḵem וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי֙ So I will free wə·šil·laḥ·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַנְּפָשׁ֔וֹת the souls han·nə·p̄ā·šō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer אַתֶּ֛ם you ’at·tem מְצֹדְד֥וֹת have ensnared mə·ṣō·ḏə·ḏō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נְפָשִׁ֖ים - nə·p̄ā·šîm לְפֹרְחֹֽת׃ like birds . lə·p̄ō·rə·ḥōṯ Ezekiel 13:21 וְקָרַעְתִּ֞י I will also tear off wə·qā·ra‘·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִסְפְּחֹֽתֵיכֶ֗ם your veils mis·pə·ḥō·ṯê·ḵem וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י and deliver wə·hiṣ·ṣal·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַמִּי֙ My people ‘am·mî מִיֶּדְכֶ֔ן from your hands , mî·yeḏ·ḵen וְלֹֽא־ so that they will no wə·lō- ע֛וֹד longer ‘ō·wḏ יִהְי֥וּ be yih·yū לִמְצוּדָ֑ה prey lim·ṣū·ḏāh בְּיֶדְכֶ֖ן in your hands . bə·yeḏ·ḵen וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ן Then you will know wî·ḏa‘·ten כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃ am YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 13:22 יַ֣עַן Because ya·‘an הַכְא֤וֹת you have disheartened haḵ·’ō·wṯ לֵב־ . . . lêḇ- צַדִּיק֙ the righteous ṣad·dîq שֶׁ֔קֶר with your lies , še·qer וַאֲנִ֖י even though I wa·’ă·nî לֹ֣א vvv lō הִכְאַבְתִּ֑יו have caused them no grief , hiḵ·’aḇ·tîw וּלְחַזֵּק֙ and because you have encouraged ū·lə·ḥaz·zêq יְדֵ֣י . . . yə·ḏê הָרָ֖ע the wicked hā·rā‘ לְבִלְתִּי־ not lə·ḇil·tî- שׁ֛וּב to turn šūḇ רָשָׁ֔ע from their evil rā·šā‘ מִדַּרְכּ֥וֹ ways mid·dar·kōw לְהַחֲיֹתֽוֹ׃ to save their lives , lə·ha·ḥă·yō·ṯōw Ezekiel 13:23 לָכֵ֗ן therefore lā·ḵên לֹ֣א you will no lō ע֑וֹד longer ‘ō·wḏ תֶחֱזֶ֔ינָה see ṯe·ḥĕ·ze·nāh שָׁ֚וְא false visions w תִקְסַ֣מְנָה or practice ṯiq·sam·nāh וְקֶ֖סֶם divination . wə·qe·sem לֹא־ . . . lō- וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י I will deliver wə·hiṣ·ṣal·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַמִּי֙ My people ‘am·mî מִיֶּדְכֶ֔ן from your hands . mî·yeḏ·ḵen וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ן Then you will know wî·ḏa‘·ten כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃ am YHWH . ” Yah·weh Ezekiel 14:1 מִזִּקְנֵ֖י Then some of the elders miz·ziq·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַיָּב֤וֹא came way·yā·ḇō·w אֵלַי֙ - ’ê·lay אֲנָשִׁ֔ים - ’ă·nā·šîm וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ and sat down way·yê·šə·ḇū לְפָנָֽי׃פ before me . lə·p̄ā·nāy Ezekiel 14:2 דְבַר־ And the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 14:3 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām
