וְאֵ֖ין and [so] wə·’ên הַטָּחִ֥ים are those who whitewashed haṭ·ṭā·ḥîm אֹתֽוֹ׃ it — ’ō·ṯōw Ezekiel 13:16 נְבִיאֵ֣י those prophets nə·ḇî·’ê יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl הַֽנִבְּאִים֙ who prophesied ha·nib·bə·ʾīm אֶל־ to ’el- יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim וְהַחֹזִ֥ים and saw wə·ha·ḥō·zîm חֲז֣וֹן a vision ḥă·zō·wn שָׁלֹ֑ם of peace šā·lōm לָ֖הּ for her lāh וְאֵ֣ין when there was no wə·’ên שָׁלֹ֔ם peace , šā·lōm נְאֻ֖ם declares nə·’um אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהֹוִֽה׃פ YHWH . ’ Yah·weh Ezekiel 13:17 וְאַתָּ֣ה Now , wə·’at·tāh בֶן־ O son ḇen- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām שִׂ֤ים set śîm פָּנֶ֙יךָ֙ your face pā·ne·ḵā אֶל־ against ’el- בְּנ֣וֹת the daughters bə·nō·wṯ עַמְּךָ֔ of your people ‘am·mə·ḵā הַמִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וֹת who prophesy ham·miṯ·nab·bə·’ō·wṯ מִֽלִּבְּהֶ֑ן out of their own imagination . mil·lib·bə·hen וְהִנָּבֵ֖א Prophesy wə·hin·nā·ḇê עֲלֵיהֶֽן׃ against them ‘ă·lê·hen Ezekiel 13:18 וְאָמַרְתָּ֞ and tell them that wə·’ā·mar·tā כֹּה־ this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר׀ says : ’ā·mar הוֹי֩ Woe hō·w לִֽמְתַפְּר֨וֹת to the women who sew lim·ṯap·pə·rō·wṯ כְּסָת֜וֹת magic charms kə·sā·ṯō·wṯ עַ֣ל׀ on ‘al כָּל־ vvv kāl- אַצִּילֵ֣י their wrists ’aṣ·ṣî·lê יָדַ֗י . . . yā·ḏay וְעֹשׂ֧וֹת and make wə·‘ō·śō·wṯ הַמִּסְפָּח֛וֹת veils ham·mis·pā·ḥō·wṯ עַל־ for ‘al- רֹ֥אשׁ the heads rōš כָּל־ of people of every kāl- קוֹמָ֖ה height , qō·w·māh לְצוֹדֵ֣ד in order to ensnare lə·ṣō·w·ḏêḏ נְפָשׁ֑וֹת their souls . nə·p̄ā·šō·wṯ תְּצוֹדֵ֣דְנָה Will you ensnare tə·ṣō·w·ḏê·ḏə·nāh הַנְּפָשׁוֹת֙ the souls han·nə·p̄ā·šō·wṯ לְעַמִּ֔י of My people lə·‘am·mî וּנְפָשׁ֖וֹת . . . ū·nə·p̄ā·šō·wṯ לָכֶ֥נָה but preserve your own lā·ḵe·nāh תְחַיֶּֽינָה׃ . . . ? ṯə·ḥay·ye·nāh Ezekiel 13:19 וַתְּחַלֶּלְ֨נָה You have profaned wat·tə·ḥal·lɛl·nå̄h אֹתִ֜י Me ’ō·ṯî אֶל־ among ’el- עַמִּ֗י My people ‘am·mî בְּשַׁעֲלֵ֣י for handfuls bə·ša·‘ă·lê שְׂעֹרִים֮ of barley śə·‘ō·rîm וּבִפְת֣וֹתֵי and scraps ū·ḇip̄·ṯō·w·ṯê לֶחֶם֒ of bread . le·ḥem בְּכַ֨זֶּבְכֶ֔ם By lying bə·ḵaz·zeḇ·ḵem לְעַמִּ֖י to My people lə·‘am·mî שֹׁמְעֵ֥י who would listen šō·mə·‘ê כָזָֽב׃ס . . . , ḵā·zāḇ לְהָמִ֤ית you have killed lə·hā·mîṯ נְפָשׁוֹת֙ those nə·p̄ā·šō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ should not lō- תְמוּתֶ֔נָה have died ṯə·mū·ṯe·nāh וּלְחַיּ֥וֹת and spared ū·lə·ḥay·yō·wṯ נְפָשׁ֖וֹת those nə·p̄ā·šō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer לֹא־ should not lō- תִֽחְיֶ֑ינָה have lived . ṯiḥ·ye·nāh Ezekiel 13:20 לָכֵ֞ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּה־ this is what kōh- אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר׀ says : ’ā·mar הִנְנִ֤י See , hin·nî אֶל־ I am against ’el- כִּסְּתוֹתֵיכֶ֙נָה֙ the magic charms kis·sə·ṯō·w·ṯê·ḵe·nāh
