עַמִּ֛י they have led My people ‘am·mî הִטְע֧וּ astray , hiṭ·‘ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לֵאמֹ֥ר saying , lê·mōr שָׁל֖וֹם ‘ Peace , ’ šā·lō·wm וְאֵ֣ין when there is no wə·’ên שָׁל֑וֹם peace , šā·lō·wm וְהִנָּ֛ם . . . wə·hin·nām טָחִ֥ים and whitewashing ṭā·ḥîm אֹת֖וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw תָּפֵֽל׃ - tā·p̄êl חַ֔יִץ any flimsy wall ḥa·yiṣ וְהוּא֙ - wə·hū בֹּ֣נֶה that is built , bō·neh Ezekiel 13:11 אֱמֹ֛ר tell ’ĕ·mōr אֶל־ . . . ’el- טָחֵ֥י those whitewashing [the wall] ṭā·ḥê תָפֵ֖ל . . . ṯā·p̄êl וְיִפֹּ֑ל that it will fall . wə·yip·pōl גֶּ֣שֶׁם Rain ge·šem הָיָ֣ה׀ will come hā·yāh שׁוֹטֵ֗ף in torrents šō·w·ṭêp̄ וְאַתֵּ֜נָה . . . , wə·’at·tê·nāh אַבְנֵ֤י I will send hailstones ’aḇ·nê אֶלְגָּבִישׁ֙ . . . ’el·gā·ḇîš תִּפֹּ֔לְנָה plunging down , tip·pō·lə·nāh וְר֥וּחַ and a windstorm wə·rū·aḥ סְעָר֖וֹת . . . sə·‘ā·rō·wṯ תְּבַקֵּֽעַ׃ will burst forth . tə·ḇaq·qê·a‘ Ezekiel 13:12 וְהִנֵּ֖ה Surely wə·hin·nêh הַקִּ֑יר when the wall haq·qîr נָפַ֣ל has fallen , nā·p̄al הֲלוֹא֙ you will not hă·lō·w יֵאָמֵ֣ר be asked , yê·’ā·mêr אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם . . . ’ă·lê·ḵem אַיֵּ֥ה ‘ Where ’ay·yêh הַטִּ֖יחַ is the whitewash haṭ·ṭî·aḥ אֲשֶׁ֥ר with which ’ă·šer טַחְתֶּֽם׃ס you covered it ? ’ ṭaḥ·tem Ezekiel 13:13 לָכֵ֗ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּ֤ה this is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֣י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar בַּֽחֲמָתִ֑י In My wrath ba·ḥă·mā·ṯî וּבִקַּעְתִּ֥י I will release ū·ḇiq·qa‘·tî רֽוּחַ־ a windstorm rū·aḥ- סְעָר֖וֹת . . . , sə·‘ā·rō·wṯ בְּאַפִּ֣י and in My anger bə·’ap·pî שֹׁטֵף֙ torrents šō·ṭêp̄ וְגֶ֤שֶׁם of rain wə·ḡe·šem וְאַבְנֵ֥י and hail wə·’aḇ·nê יִֽהְיֶ֔ה will fall yih·yeh אֶלְגָּבִ֖ישׁ . . . ’el·gā·ḇîš לְכָלָֽה׃ with destructive lə·ḵā·lāh בְּחֵמָ֥ה fury . bə·ḥê·māh Ezekiel 13:14 וְהָ֨רַסְתִּ֜י I will tear down wə·hā·ras·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַקִּ֨יר the wall haq·qîr אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- טַחְתֶּ֥ם you whitewashed ṭaḥ·tem תָּפֵ֛ל . . . tā·p̄êl וְהִגַּעְתִּ֥יהוּ and level wə·hig·ga‘·tî·hū אֶל־ it to ’el- הָאָ֖רֶץ the ground , hā·’ā·reṣ יְסֹד֑וֹ so that its foundation yə·sō·ḏōw וְנִגְלָ֣ה is exposed . wə·niḡ·lāh וְנָֽפְלָה֙ The city will fall , wə·nā·p̄ə·lāh וּכְלִיתֶ֣ם and you will be destroyed ū·ḵə·lî·ṯem בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ within it . bə·ṯō·w·ḵāh וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם Then you will know wî·ḏa‘·tem כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָֽה׃ am YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 13:15 וְכִלֵּיתִ֤י And after I have vented wə·ḵil·lê·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חֲמָתִי֙ My wrath ḥă·mā·ṯî בַּקִּ֔יר against the wall baq·qîr וּבַטָּחִ֥ים and against those who whitewashed it ū·ḇaṭ·ṭā·ḥîm אֹת֖וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw תָּפֵ֑ל - , tā·p̄êl וְאֹמַ֤ר I will say wə·’ō·mar לָכֶם֙ to you : lā·ḵem הַקִּ֔יר ‘ The wall haq·qîr אֵ֣ין is gone , ’ên
