לֶךְ־ go now leḵ- בֹּא֙ . . . bō אֶל־ to ’el- בֵּ֣ית the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְדִבַּרְתָּ֥ and speak wə·ḏib·bar·tā בִדְבָרַ֖י My words ḇiḏ·ḇā·ray אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ to them . ’ă·lê·hem Ezekiel 3:5 כִּ֡י For kî אַתָּ֣ה you ’at·tāh לֹא֩ are not lō שָׁל֑וּחַ being sent šā·lū·aḥ אֶל־ to ’el- עַ֨ם a people ‘am עִמְקֵ֥י of unfamiliar ‘im·qê שָׂפָ֛ה speech śā·p̄āh וְכִבְדֵ֥י or difficult wə·ḵiḇ·ḏê לָשׁ֖וֹן language , lā·šō·wn אֶל־ but to ’el- בֵּ֖ית the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel — yiś·rā·’êl Ezekiel 3:6 לֹ֣א׀ not lō אֶל־ to ’el- רַבִּ֗ים the many rab·bîm עַמִּ֣ים peoples ‘am·mîm עִמְקֵ֤י of unfamiliar ‘im·qê שָׂפָה֙ speech śā·p̄āh וְכִבְדֵ֣י and difficult wə·ḵiḇ·ḏê לָשׁ֔וֹן language lā·šō·wn אֲשֶׁ֥ר whose ’ă·šer דִּבְרֵיהֶ֑ם words diḇ·rê·hem לֹֽא־ you cannot lō- תִשְׁמַ֖ע understand . ṯiš·ma‘ אִם־ Surely ’im- לֹ֤א . . . lō שְׁלַחְתִּ֔יךָ if I had sent you šə·laḥ·tî·ḵā אֲלֵיהֶם֙ to them , ’ă·lê·hem הֵ֖מָּה they hêm·māh יִשְׁמְע֥וּ would have listened yiš·mə·‘ū אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ to you . ’ê·le·ḵā Ezekiel 3:7 וּבֵ֣ית But the house ū·ḇêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl לֹ֤א vvv lō יֹאבוּ֙ will be unwilling yō·ḇū לִשְׁמֹ֣עַ to listen liš·mō·a‘ אֵלֶ֔יךָ to you , ’ê·le·ḵā כִּֽי־ since kî- אֵינָ֥ם vvv ’ê·nām אֹבִ֖ים they are unwilling ’ō·ḇîm לִשְׁמֹ֣עַ to listen liš·mō·a‘ אֵלָ֑י to Me . ’ê·lāy כִּ֚י For kî כָּל־ the whole kāl- בֵּ֣ית house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl חִזְקֵי־ is hard-headed ḥiz·qê- מֵ֥צַח . . . mê·ṣaḥ וּקְשֵׁי־ and hard-hearted ū·qə·šê- לֵ֖ב . . . lêḇ הֵֽמָּה׃ . . . . hêm·māh Ezekiel 3:8 הִנֵּ֨ה Behold , hin·nêh נָתַ֧תִּי I will make nā·ṯat·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פָּנֶ֛יךָ your face pā·ne·ḵā חֲזָקִ֖ים as hard ḥă·zā·qîm לְעֻמַּ֣ת as lə·‘um·maṯ פְּנֵיהֶ֑ם their faces , pə·nê·hem וְאֶֽת־ - wə·’eṯ- מִצְחֲךָ֥ and your forehead miṣ·ḥă·ḵā חָזָ֖ק as hard ḥā·zāq לְעֻמַּ֥ת as lə·‘um·maṯ מִצְחָֽם׃ their foreheads . miṣ·ḥām Ezekiel 3:9 נָתַ֣תִּי I will make nā·ṯat·tî מִצְחֶ֑ךָ your forehead miṣ·ḥe·ḵā כְּשָׁמִ֛יר like a diamond , kə·šā·mîr חָזָ֥ק harder ḥā·zāq מִצֹּ֖ר than flint . miṣ·ṣōr לֹֽא־ Do not lō- תִירָ֤א be afraid ṯî·rā אוֹתָם֙ of them ’ō·w·ṯām וְלֹא־ [or] wə·lō- תֵחַ֣ת dismayed ṯê·ḥaṯ מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם at their presence , mip·pə·nê·hem כִּ֛י even though kî הֵֽמָּה׃פ they hêm·māh
