שָׁ֑ם where šām הֵ֖מָּה they hêm·māh יוֹשְׁבִ֣ים sat yō·wō·šə·ḇîm וָאֵשֵׁ֥ב and remained wā·’ê·šêḇ שָׁ֛ם there šām בְּתוֹכָֽם׃ among them , bə·ṯō·w·ḵām מַשְׁמִ֥ים overwhelmed . maš·mîm Ezekiel 3:16 מִקְצֵ֖ה At the end miq·ṣêh שִׁבְעַ֣ת of seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִ֑ים פ days yå̄·mīm p̄ וַיְהִ֥י . . . way·hî דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֕י came way·hî אֵלַ֥י to me , ’ê·lay לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Ezekiel 3:17 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֕ם of man , ’ā·ḏām נְתַתִּ֖יךָ I have made nə·ṯat·tî·ḵā צֹפֶ֥ה you a watchman ṣō·p̄eh לְבֵ֣ית for the house lə·ḇêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֤ Whenever you hear wə·šā·ma‘·tā דָּבָ֔ר a word dā·ḇār מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ from mim·men·nî מִפִּי֙ My mouth , mip·pî וְהִזְהַרְתָּ֥ give them a warning wə·hiz·har·tā אוֹתָ֖ם from Me . ’ō·w·ṯām Ezekiel 3:18 בְּאָמְרִ֤י If I say bə·’ā·mə·rî לָֽרָשָׁע֙ to the wicked man , lā·rā·šā‘ מ֣וֹת ‘ You will surely die mō·wṯ תָּמ֔וּת . . . , ’ tā·mūṯ וְלֹ֣א but you do not wə·lō הִזְהַרְתּ֗וֹ warn him hiz·har·tōw וְלֹ֥א [or] wə·lō דִבַּ֛רְתָּ speak out ḏib·bar·tā לְהַזְהִ֥יר to warn lə·haz·hîr רָשָׁ֛ע him rā·šā‘ הָרְשָׁעָ֖ה from his wicked hā·rə·šā·‘āh מִדַּרְכּ֥וֹ way mid·dar·kōw לְחַיֹּת֑וֹ to save his life , lə·ḥay·yō·ṯōw ה֤וּא that hū רָשָׁע֙ wicked man rā·šā‘ יָמ֔וּת will die yā·mūṯ בַּעֲוֺנ֣וֹ in his iniquity , ba·‘ă·wō·nōw מִיָּדְךָ֥ and I will hold you mî·yā·ḏə·ḵā אֲבַקֵּֽשׁ׃ responsible for ’ă·ḇaq·qêš וְדָמ֖וֹ his blood . wə·ḏā·mōw Ezekiel 3:19 כִּֽי־ But if kî- וְאַתָּה֙ you wə·’at·tāh הִזְהַ֣רְתָּ warn hiz·har·tā רָשָׁ֔ע a wicked man rā·šā‘ וְלֹא־ and he does not wə·lō- שָׁב֙ turn šāḇ מֵֽרִשְׁע֔וֹ from his wickedness mê·riš·‘ōw הָרְשָׁעָ֑ה and his wicked hā·rə·šā·‘āh וּמִדַּרְכּ֖וֹ way , ū·mid·dar·kōw ה֚וּא he hū יָמ֔וּת will die yā·mūṯ בַּעֲוֺנ֣וֹ in his iniquity , ba·‘ă·wō·nōw וְאַתָּ֖ה but you wə·’at·tāh אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- הִצַּֽלְתָּ׃ס will have saved hiṣ·ṣal·tā נַפְשְׁךָ֥ yourself . nap̄·šə·ḵā Ezekiel 3:20 צַדִּ֤יק Now if a righteous man ṣad·dîq וּבְשׁ֨וּב turns ū·ḇə·šūḇ מִצִּדְקוֹ֙ from his righteousness miṣ·ṣiḏ·qōw וְעָ֣שָׂה and commits wə·‘ā·śāh עָ֔וֶל iniquity , ‘ā·wel וְנָתַתִּ֥י and I put wə·nā·ṯat·tî מִכְשׁ֛וֹל a stumbling block miḵ·šō·wl לְפָנָ֖יו before him , lə·p̄ā·nāw ה֣וּא he hū יָמ֑וּת will die . yā·mūṯ כִּ֣י If kî לֹ֤א you did not lō הִזְהַרְתּוֹ֙ warn him , hiz·har·tōw יָמ֔וּת he will die yā·mūṯ בְּחַטָּאת֣וֹ in his sin , bə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw צִדְקֹתָו֙ and the righteous acts ṣiḏ·qō·ṯå̄w אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עָשָׂ֔ה he did ‘ā·śāh וְלֹ֣א will not wə·lō תִזָּכַ֗רְןָ be remembered . ṯiz·zā·ḵar·nā מִיָּדְךָ֥ And I will hold you mî·yā·ḏə·ḵā
