בִ֑י against Me . ḇî עַד־ To ‘aḏ- עֶ֖צֶם . . . ‘e·ṣem הַזֶּֽה׃ this very haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day hay·yō·wm הֵ֤מָּה they hêm·māh וַאֲבוֹתָם֙ and their fathers wa·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām פָּ֣שְׁעוּ have rebelled pā·šə·‘ū בִ֔י against Me . ḇî Ezekiel 2:4 קְשֵׁ֤י They are obstinate qə·šê פָנִים֙ . . . p̄ā·nîm וְחִזְקֵי־ and stubborn wə·ḥiz·qê- לֵ֔ב . . . lêḇ וְהַבָּנִ֗ים children . wə·hab·bā·nîm אֲנִ֛י I ’ă·nî שׁוֹלֵ֥חַ am sending šō·w·lê·aḥ אוֹתְךָ֖ - ’ō·wṯ·ḵā אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם you to them , ’ă·lê·hem וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ and you are to say wə·’ā·mar·tā אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם to them , ’ă·lê·hem כֹּ֥ה ‘ This is what kōh אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהֹוִֽה׃ YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֖ר says . ’ ’ā·mar Ezekiel 2:5 אִם־ And whether ’im- וְהֵ֙מָּה֙ they wə·hêm·māh יִשְׁמְע֣וּ listen yiš·mə·‘ū וְאִם־ or wə·’im- יֶחְדָּ֔לוּ refuse to listen — yeḥ·dā·lū כִּ֛י for kî הֵ֑מָּה they hêm·māh מְרִ֖י are a rebellious mə·rî בֵּ֥ית house — bêṯ וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ they will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּ֥י that kî נָבִ֖יא a prophet nā·ḇî הָיָ֥ה has been hā·yāh בְתוֹכָֽם׃פ among them . ḇə·ṯō·w·ḵām Ezekiel 2:6 וְאַתָּ֣ה But you , wə·’at·tāh בֶן־ son ḇen- אָ֠דָם of man , ’ā·ḏām אַל־ do not ’al- תִּירָ֨א be afraid tî·rā מֵהֶ֜ם of them mê·hem וּמִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֣ם or their words . ū·mid·diḇ·rê·hem אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּירָ֗א be afraid , tî·rā כִּ֣י though kî סָרָבִ֤ים briers sā·rā·ḇîm וְסַלּוֹנִים֙ and thorns wə·sal·lō·w·nîm אוֹתָ֔ךְ surround ’ō·w·ṯāḵ אַתָּ֣ה you , ’at·tāh יוֹשֵׁ֑ב and you dwell yō·wō·šêḇ וְאֶל־ among wə·’el- עַקְרַבִּ֖ים scorpions . ‘aq·rab·bîm אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּירָא֙ be afraid tî·rā מִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֤ם of their words mid·diḇ·rê·hem תֵּחָ֔ת or dismayed tê·ḥāṯ וּמִפְּנֵיהֶ֣ם by their presence , ū·mip·pə·nê·hem אַל־ . . . ’al- כִּ֛י though kî מְרִ֖י they are a rebellious mə·rî הֵֽמָּה׃ . . . hêm·māh בֵּ֥ית house . bêṯ Ezekiel 2:7 וְדִבַּרְתָּ֤ But speak wə·ḏib·bar·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דְּבָרַי֙ My words də·ḇā·ray אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם to them , ’ă·lê·hem אִֽם־ whether ’im- יִשְׁמְע֖וּ they listen yiš·mə·‘ū וְאִם־ or wə·’im- יֶחְדָּ֑לוּ refuse yeḥ·dā·lū כִּ֥י to listen , kî הֵֽמָּה׃פ for they hêm·māh מְרִ֖י are rebellious . mə·rî Ezekiel 2:8 וְאַתָּ֣ה And you , wə·’at·tāh בֶן־ son ḇen- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām שְׁמַע֙ listen šə·ma‘ אֵ֤ת - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁר־ to what ’ă·šer- אֲנִי֙ I ’ă·nî מְדַבֵּ֣ר tell you . mə·ḏab·bêr אֵלֶ֔יךָ . . . ’ê·le·ḵā
