Ezekiel 1:21 בְּלֶכְתָּ֣ם When the creatures moved , bə·leḵ·tām יֵלֵ֔כוּ the wheels moved ; yê·lê·ḵū וּבְעָמְדָ֖ם when the creatures stood still , ū·ḇə·‘ā·mə·ḏām יַֽעֲמֹ֑דוּ the wheels stood still ; ya·‘ă·mō·ḏū וּֽבְהִנָּשְׂאָ֞ם and when the creatures rose ū·ḇə·hin·nā·śə·’ām מֵעַ֣ל from mê·‘al הָאָ֗רֶץ the ground , hā·’ā·reṣ הָאֽוֹפַנִּים֙ the wheels hā·’ō·w·p̄an·nîm יִנָּשְׂא֤וּ rose yin·nā·śə·’ū לְעֻמָּתָ֔ם alongside them , lə·‘um·mā·ṯām כִּ֛י because kî ר֥וּחַ the spirit rū·aḥ הַחַיָּ֖ה of the living creatures ha·ḥay·yāh בָּאוֹפַנִּֽים׃ was in the wheels . bā·’ō·w·p̄an·nîm Ezekiel 1:22 נָט֥וּי Spread out nā·ṭui עַל־ above ‘al- מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃ . . . mil·mā·‘ə·lāh רָאשֵׁיהֶ֖ם the heads rā·šê·hem עַל־ ‘al- רָאשֵׁ֤י rā·šê הַחַיָּה֙ of the living creatures ha·ḥay·yāh וּדְמ֞וּת [was] the likeness ū·ḏə·mūṯ הַנּוֹרָ֑א of an awesome han·nō·w·rā רָקִ֔יעַ expanse , rā·qî·a‘ כְּעֵ֖ין gleaming kə·‘ên הַקֶּ֣רַח like crystal . haq·qe·raḥ Ezekiel 1:23 וְתַ֙חַת֙ And under wə·ṯa·ḥaṯ הָרָקִ֔יעַ the expanse , hā·rā·qî·a‘ כַּנְפֵיהֶ֣ם their wings kan·p̄ê·hem יְשָׁר֔וֹת stretched out yə·šā·rō·wṯ אֶל־ toward ’el- אִשָּׁ֖ה one ’iš·šāh אֲחוֹתָ֑הּ another . ’ă·ḥō·w·ṯāh לְאִ֗ישׁ lə·’îš שְׁתַּ֤יִם šə·ta·yim מְכַסּוֹת֙ mə·ḵas·sō·wṯ לָהֵ֔נָּה lā·hên·nāh וּלְאִ֗ישׁ Each one ū·lə·’îš שְׁתַּ֤יִם also had two [wings] šə·ta·yim מְכַסּוֹת֙ covering mə·ḵas·sō·wṯ לָהֵ֔נָּה lā·hên·nāh אֵ֖ת ’êṯ גְּוִיֹּתֵיהֶֽם׃ its body . gə·wî·yō·ṯê·hem Ezekiel 1:24 בְּלֶכְתָּ֔ם When [the creatures] moved , bə·leḵ·tām וָאֶשְׁמַ֣ע I heard wā·’eš·ma‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- ק֣וֹל the sound qō·wl כַּנְפֵיהֶ֡ם of their wings kan·p̄ê·hem כְּקוֹל֩ like the roar kə·qō·wl רַבִּ֤ים of many rab·bîm מַ֨יִם waters , ma·yim כְּקוֹל־ like the voice kə·qō·wl- שַׁדַּי֙ of the Almighty , šad·day ק֥וֹל like qō·wl הֲמֻלָּ֖ה the tumult hă·mul·lāh כְּק֣וֹל . . . kə·qō·wl מַחֲנֶ֑ה of an army . ma·ḥă·neh בְּעָמְדָ֖ם When they stood still , bə·‘ā·mə·ḏām תְּרַפֶּ֥ינָה they lowered tə·rap·pe·nāh כַנְפֵיהֶֽן׃ their wings . ḵan·p̄ê·hen Ezekiel 1:25 וַיְהִי־ And there came way·hî- ק֕וֹל a voice qō·wl מֵעַ֕ל from above mê·‘al לָרָקִ֖יעַ the expanse lā·rā·qî·a‘ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עַל־ over ‘al- רֹאשָׁ֑ם their heads rō·šām בְּעָמְדָ֖ם as they stood still bə·‘ā·mə·ḏām כַנְפֵיהֶֽן׃ with their wings ḵan·p̄ê·hen תְּרַפֶּ֥ינָה lowered . tə·rap·pe·nāh Ezekiel 1:26 וּמִמַּ֗עַל Above ū·mim·ma·‘al לָרָקִ֙יעַ֙ the expanse lā·rā·qî·a‘ עַל־ over ‘al- רֹאשָׁ֔ם their heads rō·šām אֲשֶׁ֣ר [was] ’ă·šer דְּמ֣וּת the likeness də·mūṯ כִּסֵּ֑א of a throne kis·sê וְעַל֙ . . . wə·‘al כְּמַרְאֵ֥ה with the appearance kə·mar·’êh סַפִּ֖יר of sapphire sap·pîr אֶֽבֶן־ . . . , ’e·ḇen- הַכִּסֵּ֔א [and] on the throne hak·kis·sê עָלָ֖יו high above ‘ā·lāw
