אַל־ Do not ’al- תְּהִי־ be tə·hî- מֶ֖רִי rebellious me·rî הַמֶּ֑רִי like that rebellious ham·me·rî כְּבֵ֣ית house . kə·ḇêṯ פְּצֵ֣ה Open pə·ṣêh פִ֔יךָ your mouth p̄î·ḵā וֶאֱכֹ֕ל and eat we·’ĕ·ḵōl אֵ֥ת - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁר־ what ’ă·šer- אֲנִ֖י I ’ă·nî נֹתֵ֥ן give nō·ṯên אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ you . ” ’ê·le·ḵā Ezekiel 2:9 וָאֶרְאֶ֕ה Then I looked wā·’er·’eh וְהִנֵּה־ and saw wə·hin·nêh- יָ֖ד a hand yāḏ שְׁלוּחָ֣ה reaching out šə·lū·ḥāh אֵלָ֑י to me , ’ê·lāy וְהִנֵּה־ and wə·hin·nêh- ב֖וֹ in it ḇōw מְגִלַּת־ was a scroll mə·ḡil·laṯ- סֵֽפֶר׃ . . . , sê·p̄er Ezekiel 2:10 וַיִּפְרֹ֤שׂ which He unrolled way·yip̄·rōś אוֹתָהּ֙ - ’ō·w·ṯāh לְפָנַ֔י before me . lə·p̄ā·nay וְהִ֥יא - wə·hî כְתוּבָ֖ה And written ḵə·ṯū·ḇāh פָּנִ֣ים on the front pā·nîm וְאָח֑וֹר and back wə·’ā·ḥō·wr וְכָת֣וּב - wə·ḵā·ṯūḇ אֵלֶ֔יהָ of it ’ê·le·hā קִנִ֥ים [were] words of lamentation , qi·nîm וָהֶ֖גֶה mourning , wā·he·ḡeh וָהִֽי׃ס and woe . wā·hî Ezekiel 3:1 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֕ם of man , ” ’ā·ḏām וַיֹּ֣אמֶר He said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֔י to me , ’ê·lay אֵ֥ת - ’êṯ אֱכ֑וֹל “ eat ’ĕ·ḵō·wl אֲשֶׁר־ what ’ă·šer- תִּמְצָ֖א you find here . tim·ṣā אֱכוֹל֙ Eat ’ĕ·ḵō·wl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֹּ֔את this haz·zōṯ הַמְּגִלָּ֣ה scroll , ham·mə·ḡil·lāh וְלֵ֥ךְ then go wə·lêḵ דַּבֵּ֖ר and speak dab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . ” yiś·rā·’êl Ezekiel 3:2 וָאֶפְתַּ֖ח So I opened wā·’ep̄·taḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פִּ֑י my mouth , pî וַיַּ֣אֲכִלֵ֔נִי and He fed way·ya·’ă·ḵi·lê·nî אֵ֖ת me ’êṯ הַמְּגִלָּ֥ה the scroll ham·mə·ḡil·lāh הַזֹּֽאת׃ . . . . haz·zōṯ Ezekiel 3:3 בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָם֙ of man , ” ’ā·ḏām בִּטְנְךָ֤ . . . biṭ·nə·ḵā וַיֹּ֣אמֶר He said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֗י to me , ’ê·lay תַֽאֲכֵל֙ “ eat ṯa·’ă·ḵêl תְמַלֵּ֔א and fill ṯə·mal·lê אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ וּמֵעֶ֣יךָ your stomach ū·mê·‘e·ḵā הַזֹּ֔את with this haz·zōṯ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer הַמְּגִלָּ֣ה scroll ham·mə·ḡil·lāh אֲנִ֖י I ’ă·nî נֹתֵ֣ן am giving you . ” nō·ṯên אֵלֶ֑יךָ . . . ’ê·le·ḵā וָאֹ֣כְלָ֔ה So I ate , wā·’ō·ḵə·lāh וַתְּהִ֥י and it was wat·tə·hî לְמָתֽוֹק׃פ as sweet lə·mā·ṯō·wq כִּדְבַ֥שׁ as honey kiḏ·ḇaš בְּפִ֖י in my mouth . bə·p̄î Ezekiel 3:4 וַיֹּ֖אמֶר Then He said way·yō·mer אֵלָ֑י to me , ’ê·lāy בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֗ם of man , ’ā·ḏām
