יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl קִרְב֖וּ ‘ Come qir·ḇū לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh כִּ֣י for kî שָׁמַ֔ע He has heard šā·ma‘ אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶֽם׃ your grumbling . ’” tə·lun·nō·ṯê·ḵem Exodus 16:10 וַיְהִ֗י And as way·hî אַהֲרֹן֙ Aaron ’a·hă·rōn כְּדַבֵּ֤ר was speaking kə·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- כָּל־ the whole kāl- עֲדַ֣ת congregation ‘ă·ḏaṯ בְּנֵֽי־ . . . bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּפְנ֖וּ they looked way·yip̄·nū אֶל־ toward ’el- הַמִּדְבָּ֑ר the desert , ham·miḏ·bār וְהִנֵּה֙ and there wə·hin·nêh בֶּעָנָֽן׃פ in a cloud be·‘ā·nān כְּב֣וֹד the glory kə·ḇō·wḏ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh נִרְאָ֖ה appeared . nir·’āh Exodus 16:11 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר said way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses , mō·šeh לֵּאמֹֽר׃ . . . lê·mōr Exodus 16:12 שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי “ I have heard šā·ma‘·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תְּלוּנֹּת֮ the grumbling tə·lūn·nōṯ בְּנֵ֣י vvv bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ of the Israelites . yiś·rā·’êl דַּבֵּ֨ר Tell them , dab·bêr אֲלֵהֶ֜ם . . . ’ă·lê·hem לֵאמֹ֗ר . . . lê·mōr בֵּ֤ין ‘ At bên הָֽעַרְבַּ֙יִם֙ twilight hā·‘ar·ba·yim תֹּאכְל֣וּ you will eat tō·ḵə·lū בָשָׂ֔ר meat , ḇā·śār וּבַבֹּ֖קֶר and in the morning ū·ḇab·bō·qer תִּשְׂבְּעוּ־ you {will} be filled tiś·bə·‘ū- לָ֑חֶם with bread . lā·ḥem וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם Then you will know wî·ḏa‘·tem כִּ֛י that kî אֲנִ֥י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֖ה am YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God . ’” ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem Exodus 16:13 וַיְהִ֣י way·hî בָעֶ֔רֶב That evening ḇā·‘e·reḇ הַשְּׂלָ֔ו quail haś·śə·lāw וַתַּ֣עַל came wat·ta·‘al וַתְּכַ֖ס and covered wat·tə·ḵas אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה the camp , ham·ma·ḥă·neh וּבַבֹּ֗קֶר and in the morning ū·ḇab·bō·qer הָֽיְתָה֙ there was hā·yə·ṯāh שִׁכְבַ֣ת a layer šiḵ·ḇaṯ הַטַּ֔ל of dew haṭ·ṭal סָבִ֖יב around sā·ḇîḇ לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃ the camp . lam·ma·ḥă·neh Exodus 16:14 שִׁכְבַ֣ת When the layer šiḵ·ḇaṯ הַטָּ֑ל of dew haṭ·ṭāl וַתַּ֖עַל had evaporated , wat·ta·‘al וְהִנֵּ֞ה there wə·hin·nêh דַּ֣ק were thin daq מְחֻסְפָּ֔ס flakes mə·ḥus·pās עַל־ on ‘al- הַמִּדְבָּר֙ the desert ham·miḏ·bār פְּנֵ֤י floor , pə·nê דַּ֥ק as fine daq כַּכְּפֹ֖ר as frost kak·kə·p̄ōr עַל־ on ‘al- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the ground . hā·’ā·reṣ Exodus 16:15 בְנֵֽי־ When the Israelites ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּרְא֣וּ saw it , way·yir·’ū וַיֹּ֨אמְר֜וּ they asked way·yō·mə·rū אִ֤ישׁ one ’îš אֶל־ . . . ’el- אָחִיו֙ another , ’ā·ḥîw
