אֲנַסֶּ֛נּוּ I will test ’ă·nas·sen·nū אִם־ whether ’im- לֹֽא׃ or not lō הֲיֵלֵ֥ךְ they will follow hă·yê·lêḵ בְּתוֹרָתִ֖י My instructions . bə·ṯō·w·rā·ṯî Exodus 16:5 וְהָיָה֙ Then wə·hā·yāh הַשִּׁשִּׁ֔י on the sixth haš·šiš·šî בַּיּ֣וֹם day , bay·yō·wm וְהֵכִ֖ינוּ when they prepare wə·hê·ḵî·nū אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁר־ what ’ă·šer- יָבִ֑יאוּ they bring in , yā·ḇî·’ū וְהָיָ֣ה it will be wə·hā·yāh מִשְׁנֶ֔ה twice miš·neh עַ֥ל as ‘al אֲשֶֽׁר־ much ’ă·šer- יִלְקְט֖וּ as they gather yil·qə·ṭū י֥וֹם׀ on the other days . ” yō·wm יֽוֹם׃ס . . . yō·wm Exodus 16:6 מֹשֶׁה֙ So Moses mō·šeh וְאַהֲרֹ֔ן and Aaron wə·’a·hă·rōn וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶֽל־ to ’el- כָּל־ all kāl- בְּנֵ֖י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל . . . , yiś·rā·’êl עֶ֕רֶב “ This evening ‘e·reḇ וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם you will know wî·ḏa‘·tem כִּ֧י that kî יְהוָ֛ה it was YHWH Yah·weh הוֹצִ֥יא who brought hō·w·ṣî אֶתְכֶ֖ם you ’eṯ·ḵem מֵאֶ֥רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim Exodus 16:7 וּבֹ֗קֶר and in the morning ū·ḇō·qer וּרְאִיתֶם֙ you will see ū·rə·’î·ṯem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH’s Yah·weh כְּב֣וֹד glory , kə·ḇō·wḏ בְּשָׁמְע֥וֹ because He has heard bə·šā·mə·‘ōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶ֖ם your grumbling tə·lun·nō·ṯê·ḵem עַל־ against ‘al- יְהוָ֑ה Him . Yah·weh וְנַ֣חְנוּ . . . wə·naḥ·nū מָ֔ה For who māh כִּ֥י are we that kî תַלּוֹנוּ you should grumble ṯal·lō·nū עָלֵֽינוּ׃ against us ? ” ‘ā·lê·nū Exodus 16:8 מֹשֶׁ֗ה And Moses mō·šeh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר added , way·yō·mer יְהוָה֩ “ YHWH Yah·weh בְּתֵ֣ת will give bə·ṯêṯ לָכֶ֨ם you lā·ḵem בָּשָׂ֣ר meat bā·śār לֶאֱכֹ֗ל to eat le·’ĕ·ḵōl בָּעֶ֜רֶב this evening bā·‘e·reḇ וְלֶ֤חֶם and bread wə·le·ḥem לִשְׂבֹּ֔עַ to fill you liś·bō·a‘ בַּבֹּ֙קֶר֙ in the morning , bab·bō·qer יְהוָה֙ for He Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בִּשְׁמֹ֤עַ has heard biš·mō·a‘ תְּלֻנֹּ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם your grumbling tə·lun·nō·ṯê·ḵem אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- אַתֶּ֥ם - ’at·tem עָלָ֑יו against Him . ‘ā·lāw מָ֔ה Who māh וְנַ֣חְנוּ are we ? wə·naḥ·nū מַלִּינִ֖ם Your grumblings mal·lî·nim לֹא־ are not lō- עָלֵ֥ינוּ against us ‘ā·lê·nū תְלֻנֹּתֵיכֶ֖ם . . . ṯə·lun·nō·ṯê·ḵem כִּ֥י but kî עַל־ against ‘al- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . ” Yah·weh Exodus 16:9 מֹשֶׁה֙ Then Moses mō·šeh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said to way·yō·mer אֶֽל־ . . . ’el- אַהֲרֹ֔ן Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn אֱמֹ֗ר “ Tell ’ĕ·mōr אֶֽל־ . . . ’el- כָּל־ the whole kāl- עֲדַת֙ congregation ‘ă·ḏaṯ בְּנֵ֣י . . . bə·nê
