Jeremiah 51:59 הַדָּבָ֞ר [This is] the message had·dā·ḇār אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יִרְמְיָ֣הוּ Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū הַנָּבִ֗יא the prophet han·nā·ḇî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִוָּ֣ה׀ gave ṣiw·wāh וּשְׂרָיָ֖ה - ū·śə·rā·yāh שַׂ֥ר vvv śar מְנוּחָֽה׃ to the quartermaster mə·nū·ḥāh שְׂרָיָ֣ה Seraiah śə·rā·yāh בֶן־ son ḇen- נֵרִיָּה֮ of Neriah , nê·rî·yāh בֶּן־ the son ben- מַחְסֵיָה֒ of Mahseiah , maḥ·sê·yāh בְּלֶכְתּ֞וֹ when he went bə·leḵ·tōw בָּבֶ֔ל to Babylon bā·ḇel אֶת־ with ’eṯ- מֶֽלֶךְ־ King me·leḵ- צִדְקִיָּ֤הוּ Zedekiah ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh הָרְבִעִ֖ית in the fourth hā·rə·ḇi·‘îṯ בִּשְׁנַ֥ת year biš·naṯ לְמָלְכ֑וֹ of Zedekiah’s reign . lə·mā·lə·ḵōw Jeremiah 51:60 יִרְמְיָ֗הוּ Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū אֵ֧ת - ’êṯ וַיִּכְתֹּ֣ב had written way·yiḵ·tōḇ אֶל־ on ’el- אֶחָ֑ד a single ’e·ḥāḏ אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ סֵ֣פֶר scroll sê·p̄er כָּל־ about all kāl- הָרָעָ֛ה the disaster hā·rā·‘āh אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- תָּב֥וֹא would come tā·ḇō·w אֶל־ upon ’el- בָּבֶ֖ל Babylon — bā·ḇel כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵ֔לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֣ים words had·də·ḇā·rîm הַכְּתֻבִ֖ים that had been written hak·kə·ṯu·ḇîm אֶל־ concerning ’el- בָּבֶֽל׃ Babylon . bā·ḇel Jeremiah 51:61 יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ And Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- שְׂרָיָ֑ה Seraiah , śə·rā·yāh כְּבֹאֲךָ֣ “ When you get kə·ḇō·’ă·ḵā בָבֶ֔ל to Babylon , ḇā·ḇel וְֽרָאִ֔יתָ see wə·rā·’î·ṯā כָּל־ that you read all kāl- הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֖ים words had·də·ḇā·rîm וְֽקָרָ֔אתָ aloud wə·qā·rā·ṯā אֵ֥ת - , ’êṯ Jeremiah 51:62 וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ and say , wə·’ā·mar·tā יְהוָה֙ ‘ O YHWH , Yah·weh אַתָּ֨ה You ’at·tāh דִבַּ֜רְתָּ have promised ḏib·bar·tā אֶל־ . . . ’el- לְהַכְרִית֔וֹ to cut off lə·haḵ·rî·ṯōw הַזֶּה֙ this haz·zeh הַמָּק֤וֹם place ham·mā·qō·wm לְבִלְתִּ֤י so that no one lə·ḇil·tî הֱיֽוֹת־ hĕ·yō·wṯ- בּוֹ֙ bōw יוֹשֵׁ֔ב will remain — yō·wō·šêḇ לְמֵאָדָ֖ם neither man lə·mê·’ā·ḏām וְעַד־ nor wə·‘aḏ- בְּהֵמָ֑ה beast . bə·hê·māh כִּֽי־ Indeed , kî- תִּֽהְיֶֽה׃ it will be tih·yeh שִׁמְמ֥וֹת desolate šim·mō·wṯ עוֹלָ֖ם forever .’ ‘ō·w·lām Jeremiah 51:63 וְהָיָה֙ - wə·hā·yāh כְּכַלֹּ֣תְךָ֔ When you finish kə·ḵal·lō·ṯə·ḵā לִקְרֹ֖א reading liq·rō אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֶּ֑ה this haz·zeh הַסֵּ֣פֶר scroll , has·sê·p̄er תִּקְשֹׁ֤ר tie tiq·šōr אֶ֔בֶן a stone ’e·ḇen עָלָיו֙ to it ‘ā·lāw וְהִשְׁלַכְתּ֖וֹ and cast it wə·hiš·laḵ·tōw אֶל־ into ’el- תּ֥וֹךְ . . . tō·wḵ פְּרָֽת׃ the Euphrates . pə·rāṯ
