Jeremiah 50:34 גֹּאֲלָ֣ם׀ Their Redeemer gō·’ă·lām חָזָ֗ק is strong ; ḥā·zāq יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאוֹת֙ of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ שְׁמ֔וֹ is His name . šə·mōw רִ֥יב He will fervently plead rîḇ יָרִ֖יב . . . yā·rîḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רִיבָ֑ם their case rî·ḇām לְמַ֙עַן֙ so that lə·ma·‘an הִרְגִּ֣יעַ He may bring rest hir·gî·a‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֔רֶץ to the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ וְהִרְגִּ֖יז but turmoil wə·hir·gîz לְיֹשְׁבֵ֥י to those who live lə·yō·šə·ḇê בָבֶֽל׃ in Babylon . ḇā·ḇel Jeremiah 50:35 חֶ֥רֶב A sword ḥe·reḇ עַל־ [is] against ‘al- כַּשְׂדִּ֖ים the Chaldeans , kaś·dîm נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh וְאֶל־ against wə·’el- יֹשְׁבֵ֣י those who live yō·šə·ḇê בָבֶ֔ל in Babylon , ḇā·ḇel וְאֶל־ and against wə·’el- שָׂרֶ֖יהָ her officials śā·re·hā וְאֶל־ and wə·’el- חֲכָמֶֽיהָ׃ wise men . ḥă·ḵā·me·hā Jeremiah 50:36 חֶ֥רֶב A sword ḥe·reḇ אֶל־ [is] against ’el- הַבַּדִּ֖ים her false prophets , hab·bad·dîm וְנֹאָ֑לוּ and they will become fools . wə·nō·’ā·lū חֶ֥רֶב A sword ḥe·reḇ אֶל־ is against ’el- גִּבּוֹרֶ֖יהָ her warriors , gib·bō·w·re·hā וָחָֽתּוּ׃ and they will be filled with terror . wā·ḥāt·tū Jeremiah 50:37 חֶ֜רֶב A sword ḥe·reḇ אֶל־ is against ’el- סוּסָ֣יו her horses sū·sāw וְאֶל־ and wə·’el- רִכְבּ֗וֹ chariots riḵ·bōw וְאֶל־ and against wə·’el- כָּל־ all kāl- הָעֶ֛רֶב the foreigners hā·‘e·reḇ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer בְּתוֹכָ֖הּ in her midst , bə·ṯō·w·ḵāh וְהָי֣וּ and they will become wə·hā·yū לְנָשִׁ֑ים like women . lə·nā·šîm חֶ֥רֶב A sword ḥe·reḇ אֶל־ is against ’el- אוֹצְרֹתֶ֖יהָ her treasuries , ’ō·wṣ·rō·ṯe·hā וּבֻזָּֽזוּ׃ and they will be plundered . ū·ḇuz·zā·zū Jeremiah 50:38 חֹ֥רֶב A drought ḥō·reḇ אֶל־ [is] upon ’el- מֵימֶ֖יהָ her waters , mê·me·hā וְיָבֵ֑שׁוּ and they will be dried up . wə·yā·ḇê·šū כִּ֣י For kî הִ֔יא it hî אֶ֤רֶץ is a land ’e·reṣ פְּסִלִים֙ of graven images , pə·si·lîm יִתְהֹלָֽלוּ׃ and [the people] go mad yiṯ·hō·lā·lū וּבָאֵימִ֖ים over idols . ū·ḇā·’ê·mîm Jeremiah 50:39 לָכֵ֗ן So lā·ḵên צִיִּים֙ the desert creatures ṣî·yîm אֶת־ and ’eṯ- אִיִּ֔ים hyenas ’î·yîm יֵשְׁב֤וּ will live there yê·šə·ḇū בְּנ֣וֹת vvv bə·nō·wṯ יַֽעֲנָ֑ה and ostriches ya·‘ă·nāh וְיָ֥שְׁבוּ will dwell wə·yā·šə·ḇū בָ֖הּ there . ḇāh וְלֹֽא־ It will never wə·lō- לָנֶ֔צַח . . . lā·ne·ṣaḥ וְלֹ֥א . . . wə·lō עוֹד֙ again ‘ō·wḏ תֵשֵׁ֥ב be inhabited ṯê·šêḇ תִשְׁכּ֖וֹן or lived in ṯiš·kō·wn עַד־ from ‘aḏ- דּ֥וֹר generation dō·wr וָדֽוֹר׃ to generation . wā·ḏō·wr
