Jeremiah 50:22 ק֥וֹל “ The noise qō·wl מִלְחָמָ֖ה of battle mil·ḥā·māh בָּאָ֑רֶץ is in the land — bā·’ā·reṣ גָּדֽוֹל׃ [the noise] of great gā·ḏō·wl וְשֶׁ֖בֶר destruction . wə·še·ḇer Jeremiah 50:23 אֵ֤יךְ How ’êḵ פַּטִּ֖ישׁ the hammer paṭ·ṭîš כָּל־ of the whole kāl- הָאָ֑רֶץ earth hā·’ā·reṣ נִגְדַּע֙ lies broken niḡ·da‘ וַיִּשָּׁבֵ֔ר and shattered ! way·yiš·šā·ḇêr אֵ֣יךְ What ’êḵ לְשַׁמָּ֛ה a horror lə·šam·māh בָּבֶ֖ל Babylon bā·ḇel הָיְתָ֧ה has become hā·yə·ṯāh בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ among the nations ! bag·gō·w·yim Jeremiah 50:24 יָקֹ֨שְׁתִּי I laid a snare yā·qō·šə·tî לָ֤ךְ for you , lāḵ בָּבֶ֔ל O Babylon , bā·ḇel וְגַם־ and you wə·ḡam- נִלְכַּדְתְּ֙ were caught nil·kaḏt וְאַ֖תְּ before you wə·’at לֹ֣א vvv lō יָדָ֑עַתְּ knew it . yā·ḏā·‘at נִמְצֵאת֙ You were found nim·ṣêṯ וְגַם־ . . . wə·ḡam- נִתְפַּ֔שְׂתְּ and captured niṯ·paśt כִּ֥י because kî הִתְגָּרִֽית׃ you challenged hiṯ·gā·rîṯ בַֽיהוָ֖ה YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 50:25 יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פָּתַ֤ח has opened pā·ṯaḥ א֣וֹצָר֔וֹ His armory ’ō·w·ṣā·rōw וַיּוֹצֵ֖א and brought out way·yō·w·ṣê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כְּלֵ֣י His weapons kə·lê זַעְמ֑וֹ of wrath , za‘·mōw כִּי־ for kî- הִ֗יא this [is] hî מְלָאכָ֣ה the work mə·lā·ḵāh לַֽאדֹנָ֧י of the Lord la·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ בְּאֶ֥רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ כַּשְׂדִּֽים׃ of the Chaldeans . kaś·dîm Jeremiah 50:26 בֹּֽאוּ־ Come bō·’ū- לָ֤הּ against her lāh מִקֵּץ֙ from the farthest border . miq·qêṣ פִּתְח֣וּ Break open piṯ·ḥū מַאֲבֻסֶ֔יהָ her granaries ; ma·’ă·ḇu·se·hā סָלּ֥וּהָ pile her up sāl·lū·hā כְמוֹ־ like ḵə·mōw- עֲרֵמִ֖ים mounds of grain . ‘ă·rê·mîm וְהַחֲרִימ֑וּהָ Devote her to destruction ; wə·ha·ḥă·rî·mū·hā תְּהִי־ leave tə·hî- לָ֖הּ her lāh אַל־ no ’al- שְׁאֵרִֽית׃ survivors . šə·’ê·rîṯ Jeremiah 50:27 חִרְבוּ֙ Kill ḥir·ḇū כָּל־ all kāl- פָּרֶ֔יהָ her young bulls ; pā·re·hā יֵרְד֖וּ let them go down yê·rə·ḏū לַטָּ֑בַח to the slaughter . laṭ·ṭā·ḇaḥ ה֣וֹי Woe hō·w עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם to them , ‘ă·lê·hem כִּֽי־ for kî- יוֹמָ֖ם their day yō·w·mām בָ֥א has come — ḇā עֵ֥ת the time ‘êṯ פְּקֻדָּתָֽם׃ס of their punishment . pə·qud·dā·ṯām Jeremiah 50:28 ק֥וֹל Listen to qō·wl נָסִ֛ים the fugitives nā·sîm וּפְלֵטִ֖ים and refugees ū·p̄ə·lê·ṭîm מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ בָּבֶ֑ל of Babylon , bā·ḇel לְהַגִּ֣יד declaring lə·hag·gîḏ בְּצִיּ֗וֹן in Zion bə·ṣî·yō·wn אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
