נִקְמַת֙ the vengeance niq·maṯ יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū נִקְמַ֖ת the vengeance niq·maṯ הֵיכָלֽוֹ׃ for His temple . hê·ḵā·lōw Jeremiah 50:29 הַשְׁמִ֣יעוּ Summon haš·mî·‘ū רַ֠בִּים the archers rab·bîm אֶל־ against ’el- בָּבֶ֣ל׀ Babylon , bā·ḇel כָּל־ all kāl- דֹּ֨רְכֵי who string dō·rə·ḵê קֶ֜שֶׁת the bow . qe·šeṯ חֲנ֧וּ Encamp ḥă·nū עָלֶ֣יהָ . . . ‘ā·le·hā סָבִ֗יב all around her ; sā·ḇîḇ אַל־ let no one ’al- יְהִיָ֙־ . . . yə·hi·yå̄- פְּלֵטָ֔ה escape . pə·lê·ṭāh שַׁלְּמוּ־ Repay šal·lə·mū- לָ֣הּ her lāh כְּפָעֳלָ֔הּ according to her deeds ; kə·p̄ā·‘o·lāh עֲשׂוּ־ do ‘ă·śū- לָ֑הּ to her lāh כְּכֹ֛ל as kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עָשְׂתָ֖ה she has done . ‘ā·śə·ṯāh כִּ֧י For kî זָ֖דָה she has defied zā·ḏāh אֶל־ . . . ’el- יְהוָ֛ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֶל־ - ’el- קְד֥וֹשׁ the Holy qə·ḏō·wōš יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ One of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl Jeremiah 50:30 לָכֵ֛ן Therefore , lā·ḵên בַחוּרֶ֖יהָ her young men ḇa·ḥū·re·hā יִפְּל֥וּ will fall yip·pə·lū בִּרְחֹבֹתֶ֑יהָ in the streets , bir·ḥō·ḇō·ṯe·hā וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl אַנְשֵׁ֨י her warriors ’an·šê מִלְחַמְתָּ֥הּ . . . mil·ḥam·tāh יִדַּ֛מּוּ will be silenced yid·dam·mū הַה֖וּא in that ha·hū בַּיּ֥וֹם day , ” bay·yō·wm נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 50:31 הִנְנִ֤י “ Behold , hin·nî אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ I am against you , ’ê·le·ḵā זָד֔וֹן O arrogant one , ” zā·ḏō·wn נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֑וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ כִּ֛י “ for kî יוֹמְךָ֖ your day yō·wm·ḵā בָּ֥א has come , bā עֵ֥ת the time ‘êṯ פְּקַדְתִּֽיךָ׃ when I will punish you . pə·qaḏ·tî·ḵā Jeremiah 50:32 זָדוֹן֙ The arrogant one zā·ḏō·wn וְכָשַׁ֤ל will stumble wə·ḵā·šal וְנָפַ֔ל and fall wə·nā·p̄al וְאֵ֥ין with no wə·’ên ל֖וֹ lōw מֵקִ֑ים one to pick him up . mê·qîm וְהִצַּ֤תִּי And I will kindle wə·hiṣ·ṣat·tî אֵשׁ֙ a fire ’êš בְּעָרָ֔יו in his cities bə·‘ā·rāw וְאָכְלָ֖ה to consume wə·’ā·ḵə·lāh כָּל־ all those kāl- סְבִיבֹתָֽיו׃ס around him .” sə·ḇî·ḇō·ṯāw Jeremiah 50:33 כֹּ֤ה This is what kōh יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֔וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַר֙ says : ’ā·mar בְּנֵי־ “ The sons bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl עֲשׁוּקִ֛ים are oppressed , ‘ă·šū·qîm וּבְנֵי־ and the sons ū·ḇə·nê- יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh יַחְדָּ֑ו as well . yaḥ·dāw וְכָל־ All wə·ḵāl שֹֽׁבֵיהֶם֙ their captors šō·ḇê·hem הֶחֱזִ֣יקוּ hold them fast he·ḥĕ·zî·qū בָ֔ם , ḇām מֵאֲנ֖וּ refusing mê·’ă·nū שַׁלְּחָֽם׃ to release them . šal·lə·ḥām
