כָּאֲבִּרִֽים׃ like stallions , kā·’ăb·bi·rîm
Jeremiah 50:12אִמְּכֶם֙your mother’im·mə·ḵem
מְאֹ֔דwill be greatlymə·’ōḏ
בּ֤וֹשָׁהashamed ;bō·wō·šāh
יֽוֹלַדְתְּכֶ֑םshe who bore youyō·w·laḏ·tə·ḵem
חָפְרָ֖הwill be disgraced .ḥā·p̄ə·rāh
הִנֵּה֙ Behold , hin·nêh
אַחֲרִ֣ית[she will be] the least’a·ḥă·rîṯ
גּוֹיִ֔ם of the nations , gō·w·yim
מִדְבָּ֖ר a wilderness , miḏ·bār
צִיָּ֥ה a dry land , ṣî·yāh
וַעֲרָבָֽה׃and a desert .wa·‘ă·rā·ḇāh

עַל־through‘al-
בָּבֶ֔לBabylonbā·ḇel
יִשֹּׁ֥םwill be horrifiedyiš·šōm
וְיִשְׁרֹ֖קand will hisswə·yiš·rōq
עַל־at‘al-
כָּל־allkāl-
מַכּוֹתֶֽיהָ׃her wounds .mak·kō·w·ṯe·hā

כִּ֥יFor
חָטָֽאָה׃she has sinnedḥā·ṭā·’āh

עָלֶ֤יהָagainst her‘ā·le·hā
סָבִיב֙on every side !sā·ḇîḇ
נָתְנָ֣הShe has thrown upnā·ṯə·nāh
יָדָ֔הּher hands in surrender ;yā·ḏāh
אַשְׁוִיֹּתֶיהָher towersʾaš·wī·yō·ṯɛ·hå̄
נָֽפְלוּ֙have fallen ;nā·p̄ə·lū
חֽוֹמוֹתֶ֑יהָher wallsḥō·w·mō·w·ṯe·hā
נֶהֶרְס֖וּare torn down .ne·her·sū
כִּי֩Since
הִיא֙this
נִקְמַ֨תis the vengeanceniq·maṯ
יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH , Yah·weh
הִנָּ֣קְמוּtake out your vengeancehin·nā·qə·mū
בָ֔הּupon her ;ḇāh
כַּאֲשֶׁ֥רaska·’ă·šer
עָשְׂתָ֖ה she has done , ‘ā·śə·ṯāh
עֲשׂוּ־do the same‘ă·śū-
לָֽהּ׃to her .lāh

קָצִ֑ירat harvestqā·ṣîr
בְּעֵ֣תtime .bə·‘êṯ
מִפְּנֵי֙In the face ofmip·pə·nê
הַיּוֹנָ֔הthe oppressor’shay·yō·w·nāh
חֶ֣רֶב sword , ḥe·reḇ
אִ֤ישׁeach’îš
יִפְנ֔וּwill turnyip̄·nū
אֶל־to’el-
עַמּוֹ֙ his own people , ‘am·mōw
וְאִ֥ישׁeachwə·’îš
יָנֻֽסוּ׃סwill fleeyā·nu·sū
