וְנִלְו֣וּ and join wə·nil·wū אֶל־ themselves to ’el- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh עוֹלָ֖ם in an everlasting ‘ō·w·lām בְּרִ֥ית covenant bə·rîṯ לֹ֥א that will never lō תִשָּׁכֵֽחַ׃ס be forgotten . ṯiš·šā·ḵê·aḥ Jeremiah 50:6 עַמִּ֔י My people ‘am·mî הָיָה are hå̄·yå̄h אֹֽבְדוֹת֙ lost ’ō·ḇə·ḏō·wṯ צֹ֤אן sheep ; ṣōn רֹעֵיהֶ֣ם their shepherds rō·‘ê·hem הִתְע֔וּם have led them astray , hiṯ·‘ūm שׁוֹבֵבִים causing them to roam šō·ḇē·ḇīm הָרִ֖ים the mountains . hā·rîm הָלָ֔כוּ They have wandered hā·lā·ḵū מֵהַ֤ר from mountain mê·har אֶל־ to ’el- גִּבְעָה֙ hill ; giḇ·‘āh שָׁכְח֖וּ they have forgotten šā·ḵə·ḥū רִבְצָֽם׃ their resting place . riḇ·ṣām Jeremiah 50:7 כָּל־ All kāl- מוֹצְאֵיהֶ֣ם who found them mō·wṣ·’ê·hem אֲכָל֔וּם devoured them , ’ă·ḵā·lūm וְצָרֵיהֶ֥ם and their enemies wə·ṣā·rê·hem אָמְר֖וּ said , ’ā·mə·rū לֹ֣א ‘ We are not lō נֶאְשָׁ֑ם guilty , ne’·šām תַּ֗חַת for ta·ḥaṯ אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer חָטְא֤וּ they have sinned ḥā·ṭə·’ū לַֽיהוָה֙ against YHWH , Yah·weh צֶ֔דֶק their true ṣe·ḏeq נְוֵה־ pasture , nə·wêh- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH , Yah·weh וּמִקְוֵ֥ה the hope ū·miq·wêh אֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם of their fathers . ’ ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·hem Jeremiah 50:8 נֻ֚דוּ Flee nu·ḏū מִתּ֣וֹךְ from the midst mit·tō·wḵ בָּבֶ֔ל of Babylon ; bā·ḇel יָצְאוּ depart yå̄·ṣə·ʾū וּמֵאֶ֥רֶץ from the land ū·mê·’e·reṣ כַּשְׂדִּ֖ים of the Chaldeans ; kaś·dîm וִהְי֕וּ be wih·yū כְּעַתּוּדִ֖ים like the he-goats kə·‘at·tū·ḏîm לִפְנֵי־ that lead lip̄·nê- צֹֽאן׃ the flock . ṣōn Jeremiah 50:9 כִּ֣י For kî הִנֵּ֣ה behold , hin·nêh אָנֹכִ֡י I ’ā·nō·ḵî מֵעִיר֩ stir up mê·‘îr וּמַעֲלֶ֨ה and bring ū·ma·‘ă·leh עַל־ against ‘al- בָּבֶ֜ל Babylon bā·ḇel קְהַל־ an assembly qə·hal- גְּדֹלִים֙ of great gə·ḏō·lîm גּוֹיִ֤ם nations gō·w·yim מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ צָפ֔וֹן of the north . ṣā·p̄ō·wn וְעָ֣רְכוּ They will line up wə·‘ā·rə·ḵū לָ֔הּ against her ; lāh מִשָּׁ֖ם from [the north] miš·šām תִּלָּכֵ֑ד she will be captured . til·lā·ḵêḏ חִצָּיו֙ Their arrows ḥiṣ·ṣāw מַשְׁכִּ֔יל will be like skilled maš·kîl כְּגִבּ֣וֹר warriors kə·ḡib·bō·wr לֹ֥א who do not lō יָשׁ֖וּב return yā·šūḇ רֵיקָֽם׃ empty-handed . rê·qām Jeremiah 50:10 כַשְׂדִּ֖ים Chaldea ḵaś·dîm וְהָיְתָ֥ה will be wə·hā·yə·ṯāh לְשָׁלָ֑ל plundered ; lə·šā·lāl כָּל־ all kāl- שֹׁלְלֶ֥יהָ who plunder her šō·lə·le·hā יִשְׂבָּ֖עוּ will have their fill , ” yiś·bā·‘ū נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 50:11 כִּ֤י “ Because kî תִשְׂמְחִי you rejoice , ṯiś·mə·ḥī כִּ֣י because kî תַעֲלְזִי you sing in triumph — ṯa·ʿăl·zī שֹׁסֵ֖י you who plunder šō·sê
