Jeremiah 49:39 וְהָיָ֣ה׀ “ Yet wə·hā·yāh בְּאַחֲרִ֣ית in the last bə·’a·ḥă·rîṯ הַיָּמִ֗ים days , hay·yā·mîm אָשׁוּב I will restore ʾå̄·šūḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֵילָ֖ם Elam ‘ê·lām שְׁבִית from captivity , ” šə·ḇīṯ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 50:1 הַדָּבָ֗ר [This is] the word had·dā·ḇār אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֧ר spoke dib·ber בְּיַ֖ד through bə·yaḏ יִרְמְיָ֥הוּ Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū הַנָּבִֽיא׃ the prophet han·nā·ḇî אֶל־ concerning ’el- בָּבֶ֖ל Babylon bā·ḇel אֶל־ and ’el- אֶ֣רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ כַּשְׂדִּ֑ים of the Chaldeans : kaś·dîm Jeremiah 50:2 הַגִּ֨ידוּ “ Announce hag·gî·ḏū וְהַשְׁמִ֙יעוּ֙ and declare wə·haš·mî·‘ū בַגּוֹיִ֤ם to the nations ; ḇag·gō·w·yim וּֽשְׂאוּ־ lift up ū·śə·’ū- נֵ֔ס a banner nês הַשְׁמִ֖יעוּ and proclaim it ; haš·mî·‘ū תְּכַחֵ֑דוּ hold tə·ḵa·ḥê·ḏū אַל־ nothing back ’al- אִמְרוּ֩ when you say , ’im·rū בָבֶ֜ל ‘ Babylon ḇā·ḇel נִלְכְּדָ֨ה is captured ; nil·kə·ḏāh בֵּל֙ Bel bêl הֹבִ֥ישׁ is put to shame ; hō·ḇîš מְרֹדָ֔ךְ Marduk mə·rō·ḏāḵ חַ֣ת is shattered , ḥaṯ עֲצַבֶּ֔יהָ her images ‘ă·ṣab·be·hā הֹבִ֣ישׁוּ are disgraced , hō·ḇî·šū גִּלּוּלֶֽיהָ׃ her idols gil·lū·le·hā חַ֖תּוּ are broken in pieces . ’ ḥat·tū Jeremiah 50:3 כִּ֣י For kî גּ֜וֹי a nation gō·w מִצָּפ֗וֹן from the north miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn עָלָה֩ will come ‘ā·lāh עָלֶ֨יהָ against her ; ‘ā·le·hā הֽוּא־ it hū- יָשִׁ֤ית will make yā·šîṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אַרְצָהּ֙ her land ’ar·ṣāh לְשַׁמָּ֔ה a desolation . lə·šam·māh וְלֹֽא־ No one wə·lō- יִהְיֶ֥ה vvv yih·yeh יוֹשֵׁ֖ב will live yō·wō·šêḇ בָּ֑הּ in it ; bāh מֵאָדָ֥ם both man mê·’ā·ḏām וְעַד־ and wə·‘aḏ- בְּהֵמָ֖ה beast bə·hê·māh נָ֥דוּ will flee nā·ḏū הָלָֽכוּ׃ . . . . ” hā·lā·ḵū Jeremiah 50:4 הָהֵ֜מָּה “ In those hā·hêm·māh בַּיָּמִ֨ים days bay·yā·mîm הַהִיא֙ and at that ha·hî וּבָעֵ֤ת time , ū·ḇā·‘êṯ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh בְנֵֽי־ the children ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl הֵ֥מָּה . . . hêm·māh וּבְנֵֽי־ and the children ū·ḇə·nê- יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh יָבֹ֧אוּ will come yā·ḇō·’ū יַחְדָּ֑ו together , yaḥ·dāw וּבָכוֹ֙ weeping ū·ḇā·ḵōw יֵלֵ֔כוּ . . . yê·lê·ḵū וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָל֤וֹךְ as they come , hā·lō·wḵ יְבַקֵּֽשׁוּ׃ and will seek yə·ḇaq·qê·šū יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם their God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem Jeremiah 50:5 יִשְׁאָ֔לוּ They will ask yiš·’ā·lū דֶּ֖רֶךְ the way de·reḵ צִיּ֣וֹן to Zion ṣî·yō·wn פְנֵיהֶ֑ם [and turn] their faces p̄ə·nê·hem הֵ֣נָּה toward it . hên·nāh בֹּ֚אוּ They will come bō·’ū
