אֶל־ against ’el- קֵדָ֔ר Kedar , qê·ḏār וְשָׁדְד֖וּ and destroy wə·šā·ḏə·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵי־ the people bə·nê- קֶֽדֶם׃ of the east ! qe·ḏem Jeremiah 49:29 יִקָּ֔חוּ They will take yiq·qā·ḥū אָהֳלֵיהֶ֤ם their tents ’ā·ho·lê·hem וְצֹאנָם֙ and flocks , wə·ṣō·nām יְרִיעוֹתֵיהֶ֧ם their tent curtains yə·rî·‘ō·w·ṯê·hem וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl כְּלֵיהֶ֛ם their goods . kə·lê·hem יִשְׂא֣וּ They will take yiś·’ū לָהֶ֑ם . . . lā·hem וּגְמַלֵּיהֶ֖ם their camels for themselves . ū·ḡə·mal·lê·hem וְקָרְא֧וּ They will shout wə·qā·rə·’ū עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם to them : ‘ă·lê·hem מָג֖וֹר ‘ Terror mā·ḡō·wr מִסָּבִֽיב׃ is on every side ! ’ mis·sā·ḇîḇ Jeremiah 49:30 נֻסוּ֩ Run ! nu·sū נֻּ֨דוּ Escape nu·ḏū מְאֹ֜ד quickly ! mə·’ōḏ לָשֶׁ֛בֶת Lie lā·še·ḇeṯ הֶעְמִ֧יקוּ low , he‘·mî·qū יֹשְׁבֵ֥י O residents yō·šə·ḇê חָצ֖וֹר of Hazor , ” ḥā·ṣō·wr נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh כִּֽי־ “ for kî- נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֤ר Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·reṣ·ṣar מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- בָּבֶל֙ of Babylon bā·ḇel יָעַ֨ץ has drawn up yā·‘aṣ עֵצָ֔ה a plan ‘ê·ṣāh עֲלֵיכֶ֜ם against you ; ‘ă·lê·ḵem וְחָשַׁ֥ב he has devised wə·ḥā·šaḇ מַחֲשָׁבָֽה׃ a strategy ma·ḥă·šā·ḇāh עֲלֵיהֶם against you . ʿă·lē·hɛm Jeremiah 49:31 ק֣וּמוּ Rise up , qū·mū עֲל֗וּ advance ‘ă·lū אֶל־ against ’el- גּ֥וֹי a nation gō·w שְׁלֵ֛יו at ease , šə·lêw יוֹשֵׁ֥ב one that dwells yō·wō·šêḇ לָבֶ֖טַח securely , ” lā·ḇe·ṭaḥ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh לֹא־ “ They have no lō- דְלָתַ֧יִם gates ḏə·lā·ṯa·yim וְלֹֽא־ [or] wə·lō- בְרִ֛יחַ bars ḇə·rî·aḥ ל֖וֹ ; lōw יִשְׁכֹּֽנוּ׃ they live yiš·kō·nū בָּדָ֥ד alone . bā·ḏāḏ Jeremiah 49:32 גְמַלֵּיהֶ֜ם Their camels ḡə·mal·lê·hem וְהָי֨וּ will become wə·hā·yū לָבַ֗ז plunder , lā·ḇaz וַהֲמ֤וֹן and their large wa·hă·mō·wn מִקְנֵיהֶם֙ herds miq·nê·hem לְשָׁלָ֔ל will be spoil . lə·šā·lāl וְזֵרִתִ֥ים I will scatter wə·zê·ri·ṯîm ר֖וּחַ to the wind rū·aḥ לְכָל־ in every direction lə·ḵāl קְצוּצֵ֣י those who shave qə·ṣū·ṣê פֵאָ֑ה their temples ; p̄ê·’āh אָבִ֥יא I will bring ’ā·ḇî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֵידָ֖ם calamity on them ’ê·ḏām וּמִכָּל־ from all ū·mik·kāl- עֲבָרָ֛יו sides , ” ‘ă·ḇā·rāw נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 49:33 חָצ֜וֹר “ Hazor ḥā·ṣō·wr וְהָיְתָ֨ה will become wə·hā·yə·ṯāh לִמְע֥וֹן a haunt lim·‘ō·wn תַּנִּ֛ים for jackals , tan·nîm שְׁמָמָ֖ה a desolation šə·mā·māh עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- עוֹלָ֑ם . . . . ‘ō·w·lām לֹֽא־ No lō- אִ֔ישׁ one ’îš יֵשֵׁ֥ב will dwell yê·šêḇ שָׁם֙ there ; šām וְלֹֽא־ no wə·lō- בֶּן־ man ben-
