כִּֽימֵי־ as in days kî·mê- קֶ֖דֶם of old , qe·ḏem נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 46:27 וְ֠אַתָּה But you , wə·’at·tāh יַֽעֲקֹב֙ O Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ עַבְדִּ֤י My servant , ‘aḇ·dî אַל־ do not ’al- תִּירָ֞א be afraid , tî·rā וְאַל־ and do not wə·’al- תֵּחַ֣ת be dismayed , tê·ḥaṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל O Israel . yiś·rā·’êl כִּ֠י For kî הִנְנִ֤י vvv hin·nî מוֹשִֽׁעֲךָ֙ I will surely save you mō·wō·ši·‘ă·ḵā מֵֽרָח֔וֹק out of a distant place , mê·rā·ḥō·wq וְאֶֽת־ - wə·’eṯ- זַרְעֲךָ֖ your descendants zar·‘ă·ḵā מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ שִׁבְיָ֑ם of their captivity ! šiḇ·yām יַעֲק֛וֹב Jacob ya·‘ă·qō·wḇ וְשָׁ֧ב will return wə·šāḇ וְשָׁקַ֥ט to quiet wə·šā·qaṭ וְשַׁאֲנַ֖ן and ease , wə·ša·’ă·nan וְאֵ֥ין with no one wə·’ên מַחֲרִֽיד׃ס to make him afraid . ma·ḥă·rîḏ Jeremiah 46:28 אַ֠תָּה And you , ’at·tāh עַבְדִּ֤י My servant ‘aḇ·dî יַֽעֲקֹב֙ Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ אַל־ do not ’al- תִּירָ֞א be afraid , tî·rā נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh כִּ֥י for kî אָ֑נִי I ’ā·nî אִתְּךָ֖ am with you . ’it·tə·ḵā כִּי֩ Though kî אֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה I will completely ’e·‘ĕ·śeh כָלָ֜ה destroy ḵā·lāh בְּכָֽל־ all bə·ḵāl הַגּוֹיִ֣ם׀ the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁ֧ר to which ’ă·šer הִדַּחְתִּ֣יךָ I have banished you hid·daḥ·tî·ḵā שָׁ֗מָּה . . . šām·māh וְאֹֽתְךָ֙ - , wə·’ō·ṯə·ḵā לֹא־ I will not lō- אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה completely destroy you ’e·‘ĕ·śeh כָלָ֔ה . . . . ḵā·lāh וְיִסַּרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ Yet I will discipline you wə·yis·sar·tî·ḵā לַמִּשְׁפָּ֔ט justly , lam·miš·pāṭ לֹ֥א and will by no means lō וְנַקֵּ֖ה leave you unpunished wə·naq·qêh אֲנַקֶּֽךָּ׃ס . . . . ” ’ă·naq·qe·kā Jeremiah 47:1 דְבַר־ This is the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֛ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer הָיָ֧ה came hā·yāh אֶל־ to ’el- יִרְמְיָ֥הוּ Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū הַנָּבִ֖יא the prophet han·nā·ḇî אֶל־ about ’el- פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים the Philistines pə·liš·tîm בְּטֶ֛רֶם before bə·ṭe·rem פַרְעֹ֖ה Pharaoh p̄ar·‘ōh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יַכֶּ֥ה struck down yak·keh עַזָּֽה׃ס Gaza . ‘az·zāh Jeremiah 47:2 כֹּ֣ה׀ This is what kōh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar הִנֵּה־ “ See how hin·nêh- מַ֜יִם the waters ma·yim עֹלִ֤ים are rising ‘ō·lîm מִצָּפוֹן֙ from the north miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn וְהָיוּ֙ and becoming wə·hā·yū שׁוֹטֵ֔ף an overflowing šō·w·ṭêp̄ לְנַ֣חַל torrent . lə·na·ḥal וְיִשְׁטְפוּ֙ They will overflow wə·yiš·ṭə·p̄ū אֶ֣רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ וּמְלוֹאָ֔הּ and its fullness , ū·mə·lō·w·’āh עִ֖יר the cities ‘îr וְיֹ֣שְׁבֵי and their inhabitants wə·yō·šə·ḇê בָ֑הּ . ḇāh הָֽאָדָ֔ם The people hā·’ā·ḏām וְזָֽעֲקוּ֙ will cry out , wə·zā·‘ă·qū כֹּ֖ל and all kōl יוֹשֵׁ֥ב who dwell yō·wō·šêḇ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ in the land hā·’ā·reṣ
