בְקִרְבָּהּ֙among herḇə·qir·bāh
מַרְבֵּ֔קare like fattenedmar·bêq
כְּעֶגְלֵ֣יcalves .kə·‘eḡ·lê
כִּֽי־kî-
הֵ֧מָּהTheyhêm·māh
גַם־tooḡam-
הִפְנ֛וּwill turn back ;hip̄·nū
יַחְדָּ֖יוtogetheryaḥ·dāw
נָ֥סוּ they will flee , nā·sū
לֹ֣אthey will not
עָמָ֑דוּ stand their ground , ‘ā·mā·ḏū
כִּ֣יfor
י֥וֹםthe dayyō·wm
אֵידָ֛םof calamity’ê·ḏām
בָּ֥אis coming
עֲלֵיהֶ֖םupon them —‘ă·lê·hem
עֵ֥תthe time‘êṯ
פְּקֻדָּתָֽם׃of their punishment .pə·qud·dā·ṯām
Jeremiah 46:22קוֹלָ֖הּEgypt will hissqō·w·lāh
יֵלֵ֑ךְlike a fleeingyê·lêḵ
כַּנָּחָ֣שׁ serpent , kan·nā·ḥāš
כִּֽי־forkî-
יֵלֵ֔כוּthe enemy will advanceyê·lê·ḵū
בְחַ֣יִלin force ;ḇə·ḥa·yil
וּבְקַרְדֻּמּוֹת֙with axesū·ḇə·qar·dum·mō·wṯ
בָּ֣אוּthey will comebā·’ū
לָ֔הּagainst herlāh
כְּחֹטְבֵ֖יlike woodsmen cutting down treeskə·ḥō·ṭə·ḇê
עֵצִֽים׃. . . .‘ê·ṣîm
Jeremiah 46:23כָּרְת֤וּThey will chop downkā·rə·ṯū
יַעְרָהּ֙ her forest , ya‘·rāh
נְאֻם־declaresnə·’um-
יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh
לֹ֣אdense
כִּ֖יthough
יֵֽחָקֵ֑ר it may be , yê·ḥā·qêr
כִּ֤יfor
רַבּוּ֙they are more numerousrab·bū
מֵֽאַרְבֶּ֔הthan locusts ;mê·’ar·beh
וְאֵ֥יןthey cannotwə·’ên
לָהֶ֖ם. . .lā·hem
מִסְפָּֽר׃be counted .mis·pār
Jeremiah 46:24בַּת־The Daughterbaṯ-
מִצְרָ֑יִםof Egyptmiṣ·rā·yim
הֹבִ֖ישָׁהwill be put to shame ;hō·ḇî·šāh
נִתְּנָ֖הshe will be deliverednit·tə·nāh
בְּיַ֥דinto the handsbə·yaḏ
עַם־of the people‘am-
צָפֽוֹן׃of the north . ”ṣā·p̄ō·wn

וְעַל־withwə·‘al-
אֱלֹהֶ֖יהָher gods’ĕ·lō·he·hā
וְעַל־. . .wə·‘al-
מְלָכֶ֑יהָand kingsmə·lā·ḵe·hā
וְעַ֨ל־ . . . , wə·‘al-

הַבֹּטְחִ֖יםand those who trusthab·bō·ṭə·ḥîm
פַּרְעֹ֔הin Pharaohpar·‘ōh

Jeremiah 46:26וּנְתַתִּ֗יםI will deliver themū·nə·ṯat·tîm
בְּיַד֙into the handsbə·yaḏ
מְבַקְשֵׁ֣יof those who seekmə·ḇaq·šê
נַפְשָׁ֔םtheir livesnap̄·šām
וּבְיַ֛ד. . . —ū·ḇə·yaḏ
נְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥רof Nebuchadnezzarnə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·reṣ·ṣar
מֶֽלֶךְ־kingme·leḵ-
בָּבֶ֖לof Babylonbā·ḇel
וּבְיַד־. . .ū·ḇə·yaḏ-
עֲבָדָ֑יוand his officers .‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw
וְאַחֲרֵי־But afterwə·’a·ḥă·rê-
כֵ֛ן this , ḵên
תִּשְׁכֹּ֥ן[Egypt] will be inhabitedtiš·kōn
