לֵאמֹֽר׃ - , lê·mōr Jeremiah 44:21 קִטַּרְתֶּ֜ם “ As for the incense qiṭ·ṭar·tem הַקִּטֵּ֗ר you burned haq·qiṭ·ṭêr אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer בְּעָרֵ֤י in the cities bə·‘ā·rê יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וּבְחֻצ֣וֹת and in the streets ū·ḇə·ḥu·ṣō·wṯ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם of Jerusalem — yə·rū·šā·lim אַתֶּ֧ם you , ’at·tem וַאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֛ם your fathers , wa·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem מַלְכֵיכֶ֥ם your kings , mal·ḵê·ḵem וְשָׂרֵיכֶ֖ם your officials , wə·śā·rê·ḵem וְעַ֣ם and the people wə·‘am הָאָ֑רֶץ of the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֹתָם֙ - — ’ō·ṯām יְהוָ֔ה did YHWH Yah·weh הֲל֣וֹא not hă·lō·w אֶת־ - ’eṯ- זָכַ֣ר remember zā·ḵar וַֽתַּעֲלֶ֖ה and bring wat·ta·‘ă·leh עַל־ this to ‘al- לִבּֽוֹ׃ mind ? lib·bōw Jeremiah 44:22 יְהוָ֨ה So YHWH Yah·weh יוּכַל֩ could yū·ḵal וְלֹֽא־ no wə·lō- ע֜וֹד longer ‘ō·wḏ לָשֵׂ֗את endure lā·śêṯ מִפְּנֵי֙ . . . mip·pə·nê רֹ֣עַ the evil rō·a‘ מַעַלְלֵיכֶ֔ם deeds ma·‘al·lê·ḵem מִפְּנֵ֥י . . . mip·pə·nê הַתּוֹעֵבֹ֖ת and detestable acts hat·tō·w·‘ê·ḇōṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עֲשִׂיתֶ֑ם you committed , ‘ă·śî·ṯem אַ֠רְצְכֶם and your land ’ar·ṣə·ḵem וַתְּהִ֣י became wat·tə·hî לְחָרְבָּ֨ה a desolation , lə·ḥā·rə·bāh וּלְשַׁמָּ֧ה a horror , ū·lə·šam·māh וְלִקְלָלָ֛ה and an object of cursing , wə·liq·lā·lāh מֵאֵ֥ין without mê·’ên יוֹשֵׁ֖ב inhabitant , yō·wō·šêḇ הַזֶּֽה׃ as it is this haz·zeh כְּהַיּ֥וֹם day . kə·hay·yō·wm Jeremiah 44:23 מִפְּנֵי֩ Because mip·pə·nê אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer קִטַּרְתֶּ֜ם you burned incense qiṭ·ṭar·tem וַאֲשֶׁ֧ר - wa·’ă·šer חֲטָאתֶ֣ם and sinned ḥă·ṭā·ṯem לַיהוָ֗ה against YHWH , Yah·weh וְלֹ֤א and did not wə·lō שְׁמַעְתֶּם֙ obey šə·ma‘·tem בְּק֣וֹל the voice bə·qō·wl יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh לֹ֣א [or] lō הֲלַכְתֶּ֑ם walk hă·laḵ·tem עַל־ in ‘al- כֵּ֞ן . . . kên וּבְתֹרָת֧וֹ His instruction , ū·ḇə·ṯō·rā·ṯōw וּבְחֻקֹּתָ֛יו His statutes , ū·ḇə·ḥuq·qō·ṯāw וּבְעֵדְוֺתָ֖יו and His testimonies , ū·ḇə·‘ê·ḏə·wō·ṯāw הַזֹּ֖את this haz·zōṯ הָרָעָ֥ה disaster hā·rā·‘āh קָרָ֥את has befallen you , qā·rāṯ אֶתְכֶ֛ם - ’eṯ·ḵem כַּיּ֥וֹם as you see today kay·yō·wm הַזֶּֽה׃ס . . . . ” haz·zeh Jeremiah 44:24 יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ Then Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- כָּל־ all kāl- הָעָ֔ם the people , hā·‘ām וְאֶ֖ל . . . wə·’el כָּל־ including all kāl- הַנָּשִׁ֑ים the women , han·nā·šîm שִׁמְעוּ֙ “ Hear šim·‘ū דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כָּל־ all those kāl- יְהוּדָ֕ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh אֲשֶׁ֖ר who ’ă·šer בְּאֶ֥רֶץ are in the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ס of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Jeremiah 44:25 כֹּֽה־ This is what kōh- אָמַ֣ר - ’ā·mar יְהוָֽה־ YHWH Yah·weh-
