לָכֶ֖ם yourselves lā·ḵem לְבִלְתִּ֛י without lə·ḇil·tî שְׁאֵרִֽית׃ a remnant ? šə·’ê·rîṯ Jeremiah 44:8 לְהַכְעִסֵ֙נִי֙ [Why are you] provoking Me to anger lə·haḵ·‘i·sê·nî בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣י by the work bə·ma·‘ă·śê יְדֵיכֶ֔ם of your hands yə·ḏê·ḵem לְקַטֵּ֞ר by burning incense lə·qaṭ·ṭêr אֲחֵרִים֙ to other ’ă·ḥê·rîm לֵאלֹהִ֤ים gods lê·lō·hîm בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim אֲשֶׁר־ where ’ă·šer- אַתֶּ֥ם you ’at·tem בָּאִ֖ים have gone bā·’îm לָג֣וּר to reside lā·ḡūr שָׁ֑ם . . . ? šām לְמַ֙עַן֙ As a result , lə·ma·‘an הַכְרִ֣ית you will be cut off haḵ·rîṯ לָכֶ֔ם lā·ḵem וּלְמַ֤עַן and ū·lə·ma·‘an הֱיֽוֹתְכֶם֙ will become hĕ·yō·wṯ·ḵem לִקְלָלָ֣ה an object of cursing liq·lā·lāh וּלְחֶרְפָּ֔ה and reproach ū·lə·ḥer·pāh בְּכֹ֖ל among all bə·ḵōl גּוֹיֵ֥י the nations gō·w·yê הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Jeremiah 44:9 הַֽשְׁכַחְתֶּם֩ Have you forgotten haš·ḵaḥ·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רָע֨וֹת the wickedness rā·‘ō·wṯ אֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֜ם of your fathers ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- רָע֣וֹת׀ - rā·‘ō·wṯ מַלְכֵ֣י of the kings mal·ḵê יְהוּדָ֗ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְאֵת֙ and wə·’êṯ רָע֣וֹת - rā·‘ō·wṯ נָשָׁ֔יו their wives , nā·šāw וְאֵת֙ as well as wə·’êṯ רָעֹ֣תֵכֶ֔ם the wickedness that rā·‘ō·ṯê·ḵem וְאֵ֖ת you wə·’êṯ רָעֹ֣ת and rā·‘ōṯ נְשֵׁיכֶ֑ם your wives nə·šê·ḵem אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer עָשׂוּ֙ committed ‘ā·śū בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וּבְחֻצ֖וֹת and in the streets ū·ḇə·ḥu·ṣō·wṯ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ of Jerusalem ? yə·rū·šā·lim Jeremiah 44:10 עַ֖ד To ‘aḏ הַזֶּ֑ה this haz·zeh הַיּ֣וֹם day hay·yō·wm לֹ֣א they have not lō דֻכְּא֔וּ humbled themselves ḏuk·kə·’ū וְלֹ֣א [or] wə·lō יָרְא֗וּ shown reverence , yā·rə·’ū וְלֹֽא־ nor wə·lō- הָלְכ֤וּ have they followed hā·lə·ḵū בְתֽוֹרָתִי֙ My instruction ḇə·ṯō·w·rā·ṯî וּבְחֻקֹּתַ֔י or the statutes ū·ḇə·ḥuq·qō·ṯay אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- נָתַ֥תִּי I set nā·ṯat·tî לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם before you lip̄·nê·ḵem וְלִפְנֵ֥י and wə·lip̄·nê אֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ס your fathers . ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem Jeremiah 44:11 לָכֵ֗ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאוֹת֙ of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl הִנְנִ֨י . . . hin·nî אָמַ֞ר says : ’ā·mar שָׂ֥ם I will set śām פָּנַ֛י My face pā·nay בָּכֶ֖ם bā·ḵem לְרָעָ֑ה to bring disaster lə·rā·‘āh וּלְהַכְרִ֖ית and to cut off ū·lə·haḵ·rîṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- יְהוּדָֽה׃ Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh Jeremiah 44:12 וְלָקַחְתִּ֞י And I will take away wə·lā·qaḥ·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁאֵרִ֣ית the remnant šə·’ê·rîṯ יְהוּדָ֗ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer-
