וְנָטַעְתִּ֥י I will plant wə·nā·ṭa‘·tî אֶתְכֶ֖ם you ’eṯ·ḵem וְלֹ֣א and not wə·lō אֶתּ֑וֹשׁ uproot you , ’et·tō·wōš כִּ֤י for kî נִחַ֙מְתִּי֙ I will relent ni·ḥam·tî אֶל־ of ’el- הָ֣רָעָ֔ה the disaster hā·rā·‘āh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עָשִׂ֖יתִי I have brought ‘ā·śî·ṯî לָכֶֽם׃ upon you . lā·ḵem Jeremiah 42:11 אַל־ Do not ’al- תִּֽירְא֗וּ be afraid tî·rə·’ū מִפְּנֵי֙ of mip·pə·nê מֶ֣לֶךְ the king me·leḵ בָּבֶ֔ל of Babylon , bā·ḇel אֲשֶׁר־ whom ’ă·šer- אַתֶּ֥ם you ’at·tem יְרֵאִ֖ים now fear ; yə·rê·’îm מִפָּנָ֑יו mip·pā·nāw אַל־ do not ’al- תִּֽירְא֤וּ be afraid tî·rə·’ū מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ of him , mim·men·nū נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh כִּֽי־ for kî- אָ֔נִי I ’ā·nî אִתְּכֶ֣ם am with ’it·tə·ḵem לְהוֹשִׁ֧יעַ you to save lə·hō·wō·šî·a‘ אֶתְכֶ֛ם you ’eṯ·ḵem וּלְהַצִּ֥יל and deliver ū·lə·haṣ·ṣîl אֶתְכֶ֖ם you ’eṯ·ḵem מִיָּדֽוֹ׃ from him . mî·yā·ḏōw Jeremiah 42:12 וְאֶתֵּ֥ן And I will show wə·’et·tên לָכֶ֛ם you lā·ḵem רַחֲמִ֖ים compassion , ra·ḥă·mîm וְרִחַ֣ם and he will have compassion wə·ri·ḥam אֶתְכֶ֑ם on you ’eṯ·ḵem וְהֵשִׁ֥יב and restore wə·hê·šîḇ אֶתְכֶ֖ם you ’eṯ·ḵem אֶל־ to ’el- אַדְמַתְכֶֽם׃ your own land . ’ ’aḏ·maṯ·ḵem Jeremiah 42:13 וְאִם־ But if wə·’im- אַתֶּ֔ם you ’at·tem אֹמְרִ֣ים say , ’ō·mə·rîm לֹ֥א ‘ We will not lō נֵשֵׁ֖ב stay nê·šêḇ הַזֹּ֑את in this haz·zōṯ בָּאָ֣רֶץ land ,’ bā·’ā·reṣ לְבִלְתִּ֣י vvv lə·ḇil·tî שְׁמֹ֔עַ and you thus disobey šə·mō·a‘ בְּק֖וֹל the voice bə·qō·wl יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem Jeremiah 42:14 לֵאמֹ֗ר and if you say , lê·mōr לֹ֚א ‘ No , lō כִּ֣י but kî נָב֔וֹא we will go nā·ḇō·w אֶ֤רֶץ to the land ’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim נֵשֵֽׁב׃ and live nê·šêḇ וְשָׁ֥ם there , wə·šām אֲשֶׁ֤ר where ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ we will not lō- נִרְאֶה֙ see nir·’eh מִלְחָמָ֔ה war mil·ḥā·māh נִשְׁמָ֑ע or hear niš·mā‘ וְק֥וֹל the sound wə·qō·wl שׁוֹפָ֖ר of the ram’s horn šō·w·p̄ār לֹ֣א . . . lō לֹֽא־ . . . lō- נִרְעָ֖ב or hunger nir·‘āḇ וְלַלֶּ֥חֶם for bread ,’ wə·lal·le·ḥem Jeremiah 42:15 וְעַתָּ֕ה then wə·‘at·tāh לָכֵ֛ן . . . lā·ḵên שִׁמְע֥וּ hear šim·‘ū דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh שְׁאֵרִ֣ית O remnant šə·’ê·rîṯ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah ! yə·hū·ḏāh כֹּֽה־ This is what kōh- יְהוָ֨ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֜וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl
