Jeremiah 41:10 יִ֠שְׁמָעֵאל Then Ishmael yiš·mā·‘êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּ֣שְׁבְּ׀ took captive way·yišb כָּל־ all kāl- שְׁאֵרִ֨ית the remnant šə·’ê·rîṯ הָעָ֜ם of the people hā·‘ām אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer בַּמִּצְפָּ֗ה of Mizpah — bam·miṣ·pāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנ֤וֹת the daughters bə·nō·wṯ הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ of the king ham·me·leḵ וְאֶת־ along with wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הָעָם֙ the others hā·‘ām הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים who remained han·niš·’ā·rîm בַּמִּצְפָּ֔ה in Mizpah — bam·miṣ·pāh אֲשֶׁ֣ר over whom ’ă·šer נְבֽוּזַרְאֲדָן֙ Nebuzaradan nə·ḇū·zar·’ă·ḏān רַב־ captain raḇ- טַבָּחִ֔ים of the guard ṭab·bā·ḥîm אֶת־ . . . ’eṯ- הִפְקִ֗יד had appointed hip̄·qîḏ גְּדַלְיָ֖הוּ Gedaliah gə·ḏal·yā·hū בֶּן־ son ben- אֲחִיקָ֑ם of Ahikam . ’ă·ḥî·qām יִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל Ishmael yiš·mā·‘êl בֶּן־ son ben- נְתַנְיָ֔ה of Nethaniah nə·ṯan·yāh וַיִּשְׁבֵּם֙ took them captive way·yiš·bêm וַיֵּ֕לֶךְ and set off way·yê·leḵ לַעֲבֹ֖ר to cross over la·‘ă·ḇōr אֶל־ to ’el- בְּנֵ֥י the Ammonites bə·nê עַמּֽוֹן׃ס . . . . ‘am·mō·wn Jeremiah 41:11 יוֹחָנָ֣ן When Johanan yō·w·ḥā·nān בֶּן־ son ben- קָרֵ֔חַ of Kareah qā·rê·aḥ וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl שָׂרֵ֥י the commanders śā·rê הַחֲיָלִ֖ים of the armies ha·ḥă·yā·lîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר ’ă·šer אִתּ֑וֹ with ’it·tōw אֵ֤ת him ’êṯ וַיִּשְׁמַע֙ heard way·yiš·ma‘ כָּל־ of all kāl- הָֽרָעָה֙ the crimes hā·rā·‘āh אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer יִשְׁמָעֵ֖אל Ishmael yiš·mā·‘êl בֶּן־ son ben- נְתַנְיָֽה׃ of Nethaniah nə·ṯan·yāh עָשָׂ֔ה had committed , ‘ā·śāh Jeremiah 41:12 וַיִּקְחוּ֙ they took way·yiq·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הָ֣אֲנָשִׁ֔ים their men hā·’ă·nā·šîm וַיֵּ֣לְכ֔וּ and went way·yê·lə·ḵū לְהִלָּחֵ֖ם to fight lə·hil·lā·ḥêm עִם־ . . . ‘im- יִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל Ishmael yiš·mā·‘êl בֶּן־ son ben- נְתַנְיָ֑ה of Nethaniah . nə·ṯan·yāh וַיִּמְצְא֣וּ And they found way·yim·ṣə·’ū אֹת֔וֹ him ’ō·ṯōw אֶל־ near ’el- רַבִּ֖ים the great rab·bîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer מַ֥יִם pool ma·yim בְּגִבְעֽוֹן׃ in Gibeon . bə·ḡiḇ·‘ō·wn Jeremiah 41:13 וַיְהִ֗י - way·hî כָּל־ When all kāl- הָעָם֙ the people hā·‘ām אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer אֶת־ with ’eṯ- יִשְׁמָעֵ֔אל Ishmael yiš·mā·‘êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כִּרְא֤וֹת saw kir·’ō·wṯ יֽוֹחָנָן֙ Johanan yō·w·ḥā·nān בֶּן־ son ben- קָרֵ֔חַ of Kareah qā·rê·aḥ וְאֵ֛ת - wə·’êṯ כָּל־ and all kāl- שָׂרֵ֥י the commanders śā·rê הַחֲיָלִ֖ים of the army ha·ḥă·yā·lîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer אִתּ֑וֹ with him , ’it·tōw וַיִּשְׂמָֽחוּ׃ they rejoiced , way·yiś·mā·ḥū Jeremiah 41:14 כָּל־ and all kāl- הָעָ֔ם the people hā·‘ām
