Jeremiah 39:10 נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֥ן But Nebuzaradan nə·ḇū·zar·’ă·ḏān רַב־ - raḇ- טַבָּחִ֖ים - ṭab·bā·ḥîm הִשְׁאִ֛יר left behind hiš·’îr בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וּמִן־ some of ū·min- הַדַּלִּ֗ים the poor had·dal·lîm הָעָ֣ם people hā·‘ām אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer אֵין־ had no property ’ên- לָהֶם֙ . . . lā·hem מְא֔וּמָה . . . , mə·’ū·māh הַהֽוּא׃ and at that ha·hū בַּיּ֥וֹם time bay·yō·wm וַיִּתֵּ֥ן he gave way·yit·tên לָהֶ֛ם them lā·hem כְּרָמִ֥ים vineyards kə·rā·mîm וִֽיגֵבִ֖ים and fields . wî·ḡê·ḇîm Jeremiah 39:11 נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר Now Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·reṣ·ṣar מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֖ל of Babylon bā·ḇel וַיְצַ֛ו had given orders way·ṣaw עַֽל־ about ‘al- יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū בְּיַ֛ד through bə·yaḏ נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֥ן Nebuzaradan nə·ḇū·zar·’ă·ḏān רַב־ captain raḇ- טַבָּחִ֖ים of the guard , ṭab·bā·ḥîm לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Jeremiah 39:12 קָחֶ֗נּוּ “ Take him , qā·ḥen·nū וְעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ look after wə·‘ê·ne·ḵā שִׂ֣ים . . . śîm עָלָ֔יו him , ‘ā·lāw וְאַל־ and do not wə·’al- מְא֣וּמָה let any mə·’ū·māh רָּ֑ע harm rā‘ כִּ֗י . . . kî תַּ֥עַשׂ come ta·‘aś ל֖וֹ to him ; lōw עֲשֵׂ֥ה do ‘ă·śêh עִמּֽוֹ׃ for him ‘im·mōw אם m כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ whatever ka·’ă·šer יְדַבֵּ֣ר he says yə·ḏab·bêr אֵלֶ֔יךָ . . . ’ê·le·ḵā כֵּ֖ן . . . .” kên Jeremiah 39:13 וַיִּשְׁלַ֞ח - way·yiš·laḥ נְבֽוּזַרְאֲדָ֣ן So Nebuzaradan nə·ḇū·zar·’ă·ḏān רַב־ captain raḇ- טַבָּחִ֗ים of the guard , ṭab·bā·ḥîm וּנְבֽוּשַׁזְבָּן֙ Nebushazban ū·nə·ḇū·šaz·bå̄n רַב־ vvv raḇ- סָרִ֔יס the Rabsaris , sā·rîs וְנֵרְגַ֥ל vvv wə·nê·rə·ḡal שַׂר־ vvv śar- אֶ֖צֶר Nergal-sharezer ’e·ṣer רַב־ vvv raḇ- מָ֑ג the Rabmag , māḡ וְכֹ֖ל and all wə·ḵōl רַבֵּ֥י the captains rab·bê מֶֽלֶךְ־ of the king me·leḵ- בָּבֶֽל׃ of Babylon bā·ḇel Jeremiah 39:14 יִרְמְיָ֜הוּ had Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū וַיִּשְׁלְחוּ֩ brought way·yiš·lə·ḥū וַיִּקְח֨וּ . . . way·yiq·ḥū אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- מֵחֲצַ֣ר from the courtyard mê·ḥă·ṣar הַמַּטָּרָ֗ה of the guard , ham·maṭ·ṭā·rāh וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ and they turned him over way·yit·tə·nū אֹתוֹ֙ - ’ō·ṯōw אֶל־ to ’el- גְּדַלְיָ֙הוּ֙ Gedaliah gə·ḏal·yā·hū בֶּן־ son ben- אֲחִיקָ֣ם of Ahikam , ’ă·ḥî·qām בֶּן־ the son ben- שָׁפָ֔ן of Shaphan , šā·p̄ān לְהוֹצִאֵ֖הוּ to take lə·hō·w·ṣi·’ê·hū אֶל־ him ’el- הַבָּ֑יִת home . hab·bā·yiṯ וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב So [Jeremiah] remained way·yê·šeḇ בְּת֥וֹךְ among bə·ṯō·wḵ הָעָֽם׃ס his own people . hā·‘ām
