אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׂאוּ֩ looked up way·yiś·’ū עֵינֵיהֶ֜ם . . . ‘ê·nê·hem וְהִנֵּ֥ה and saw wə·hin·nêh מִצְרַ֣יִם׀ the Egyptians miṣ·ra·yim נֹסֵ֣עַ marching nō·sê·a‘ אַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם after them , ’a·ḥă·rê·hem בְנֵֽי־ and [they] ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּֽירְאוּ֙ were terrified way·yî·rə·’ū מְאֹ֔ד . . . mə·’ōḏ וַיִּצְעֲק֥וּ and cried out way·yiṣ·‘ă·qū אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH .
