הַזֹּ֔את this haz·zōṯ הָאָ֣רֶץ land hā·’ā·reṣ וְהִשְׁבִּ֥ית and deprive it wə·hiš·bîṯ מִמֶּ֖נָּה of mim·men·nāh אָדָ֥ם man ’ā·ḏām וּבְהֵמָֽה׃ס and beast ?’ ū·ḇə·hê·māh Jeremiah 36:30 לָכֵ֞ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says ’ā·mar עַל־ about ‘al- יְהֽוֹיָקִים֙ Jehoiakim yə·hō·w·yā·qîm מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah : yə·hū·ḏāh יִֽהְיֶה־ He will have yih·yeh- לּ֥וֹ lōw לֹא־ no lō- יוֹשֵׁ֖ב one to sit yō·wō·šêḇ עַל־ on ‘al- דָוִ֑ד David’s ḏā·wiḏ כִּסֵּ֣א throne , kis·sê וְנִבְלָתוֹ֙ and his body wə·niḇ·lā·ṯōw תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה will be tih·yeh מֻשְׁלֶ֔כֶת thrown out muš·le·ḵeṯ לַחֹ֥רֶב [and] exposed to heat la·ḥō·reḇ בַּיּ֖וֹם by day bay·yō·wm וְלַקֶּ֥רַח and frost wə·laq·qe·raḥ בַּלָּֽיְלָה׃ by night . bal·lā·yə·lāh Jeremiah 36:31 וּפָקַדְתִּ֨י I will punish ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tî עָלָ֧יו him ‘ā·lāw וְעַל־ and wə·‘al- זַרְע֛וֹ his descendants zar·‘ōw וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- עֲבָדָ֖יו and servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֲוֺנָ֑ם for their iniquity . ‘ă·wō·nām וְהֵבֵאתִ֣י I will bring wə·hê·ḇê·ṯî עֲ֠לֵיהֶם on them , ‘ă·lê·hem וְעַל־ on wə·‘al- יֹשְׁבֵ֨י the residents yō·šə·ḇê יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם of Jerusalem , yə·rū·šā·lim וְאֶל־ and on wə·’el- אִ֣ישׁ the men ’îš יְהוּדָ֗ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh אֵ֧ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- הָרָעָ֛ה the calamity hā·rā·‘āh אֲשֶׁר־ about which ’ă·šer- דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי I warned them dib·bar·tî אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם . . . ’ă·lê·hem וְלֹ֥א but they did not wə·lō שָׁמֵֽעוּ׃ס listen .” šā·mê·‘ū Jeremiah 36:32 וְיִרְמְיָ֜הוּ Then Jeremiah wə·yir·mə·yā·hū לָקַ֣ח׀ took lā·qaḥ אַחֶ֗רֶת another ’a·ḥe·reṯ מְגִלָּ֣ה scroll mə·ḡil·lāh וַֽיִּתְּנָהּ֮ and gave way·yit·tə·nāh אֶל־ it to ’el- הַסֹּפֵר֒ the scribe has·sō·p̄êr בָּר֣וּךְ Baruch bā·rūḵ בֶּן־ son ben- נֵרִיָּהוּ֮ of Neriah , nê·rî·yā·hū יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ and at Jeremiah’s yir·mə·yā·hū אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ מִפִּ֣י dictation mip·pî וַיִּכְתֹּ֤ב he wrote way·yiḵ·tōḇ עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ on it ‘ā·le·hā כָּל־ all kāl- דִּבְרֵ֣י the words diḇ·rê הַסֵּ֔פֶר of the scroll has·sê·p̄er אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer יְהוֹיָקִ֥ים Jehoiakim yə·hō·w·yā·qîm מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh שָׂרַ֛ף had burned śā·rap̄ בָּאֵ֑שׁ in the fire . bā·’êš רַבִּ֖ים And many rab·bîm כָּהֵֽמָּה׃ס . . . kā·hêm·māh וְע֨וֹד similar wə·‘ō·wḏ דְּבָרִ֥ים words də·ḇā·rîm נוֹסַ֧ף were added nō·w·sap̄ עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם to them . ‘ă·lê·hem Jeremiah 37:1 נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·reṣ·ṣar מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֖ל of Babylon bā·ḇel אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ {made} Zedekiah ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū בֶּן־ son ben-
