שָׁמַ֖ע listen šā·ma‘ אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ to them . ’ă·lê·hem Jeremiah 36:26 הַ֠מֶּלֶךְ Instead, the king ham·me·leḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיְצַוֶּ֣ה commanded way·ṣaw·weh יְרַחְמְאֵ֨ל Jerahmeel , yə·raḥ·mə·’êl בֶּן־ a son ben- הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ of the king , ham·me·leḵ וְאֶת־ as well as wə·’eṯ- שְׂרָיָ֣הוּ Seraiah śə·rā·yā·hū בֶן־ son ḇen- עַזְרִיאֵ֗ל of Azriel ‘az·rî·’êl וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- שֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֙הוּ֙ and Shelemiah še·lem·yā·hū בֶּֽן־ son ben- עַבְדְּאֵ֔ל of Abdeel , ‘aḇ·də·’êl לָקַ֙חַת֙ to seize lā·qa·ḥaṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בָּר֣וּךְ Baruch bā·rūḵ הַסֹּפֵ֔ר the scribe has·sō·p̄êr וְאֵ֖ת - wə·’êṯ יִרְמְיָ֣הוּ and Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū הַנָּבִ֑יא the prophet . han·nā·ḇî יְהוָֽה׃ס But YHWH Yah·weh וַיַּסְתִּרֵ֖ם had hidden them . way·yas·ti·rêm Jeremiah 36:27 אַחֲרֵ֣י׀ After ’a·ḥă·rê הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׂרֹ֣ף had burned śə·rōp̄ הַמְּגִלָּה֙ the scroll ham·mə·ḡil·lāh וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַדְּבָרִ֔ים containing the words had·də·ḇā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer בָּר֛וּךְ Baruch bā·rūḵ כָּתַ֥ב had written kā·ṯaḇ יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ at Jeremiah’s yir·mə·yā·hū מִפִּ֥י dictation , mip·pî דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֥י came way·hî אֶֽל־ to ’el- יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū לֵאמֹֽר׃ - : lê·mōr Jeremiah 36:28 קַח־ “ Take qaḥ- לְךָ֖ lə·ḵā אַחֶ֑רֶת another ’a·ḥe·reṯ מְגִלָּ֣ה scroll mə·ḡil·lāh שׁ֥וּב and šūḇ וּכְתֹ֣ב rewrite ū·ḵə·ṯōḇ עָלֶ֗יהָ on it ‘ā·le·hā אֵ֤ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ vvv kāl- הַדְּבָרִים֙ the very words had·də·ḇā·rîm הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים hā·ri·šō·nîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer הָי֗וּ were hā·yū עַל־ on ‘al- הָרִ֣אשֹׁנָ֔ה the original hā·ri·šō·nāh הַמְּגִלָּה֙ scroll , ham·mə·ḡil·lāh אֲשֶׁ֥ר which ’ă·šer יְהוֹיָקִ֥ים Jehoiakim yə·hō·w·yā·qîm מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָֽה׃ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh שָׂרַ֖ף has burned . śā·rap̄ Jeremiah 36:29 תֹּאמַ֔ר You are to proclaim tō·mar וְעַל־ concerning wə·‘al- יְהוֹיָקִ֤ים Jehoiakim yə·hō·w·yā·qîm מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh כֹּ֖ה that this is what kōh יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar אַ֠תָּה You ’at·tāh שָׂרַ֜פְתָּ have burned śā·rap̄·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֹּאת֙ the haz·zōṯ הַמְּגִלָּ֤ה scroll ham·mə·ḡil·lāh לֵאמֹ֔ר and said , lê·mōr מַדּוּעַ֩ ‘ Why mad·dū·a‘ כָּתַ֨בְתָּ have you written kā·ṯaḇ·tā עָלֶ֜יהָ on it ‘ā·le·hā לֵאמֹ֗ר that lê·mōr מֶֽלֶךְ־ the king me·leḵ- בָּבֶל֙ of Babylon bā·ḇel בֹּֽא־ would surely come bō- יָב֤וֹא . . . yā·ḇō·w וְהִשְׁחִית֙ and destroy wə·hiš·ḥîṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
