אֶל־ to ’el- צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ Zedekiah ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ and tell wə·’ā·mar·tā אֵלָ֗יו him ’ê·lāw כֹּ֚ה that this is what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar הִנְנִ֨י “ Behold , hin·nî נֹתֵ֜ן I am about to deliver nō·ṯên הַזֹּאת֙ this haz·zōṯ הָעִ֤יר city hā·‘îr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּיַ֣ד into the hand bə·yaḏ מֶֽלֶךְ־ of the king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֔ל of Babylon , bā·ḇel וּשְׂרָפָ֖הּ and he will burn it down ū·śə·rā·p̄āh בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ . . . . bā·’êš Jeremiah 34:3 וְאַתָּ֗ה And you yourself wə·’at·tāh לֹ֚א will not lō תִמָּלֵט֙ escape ṯim·mā·lêṭ מִיָּד֔וֹ his grasp , mî·yā·ḏōw כִּ֚י but kî תָּפֹ֣שׂ will surely be captured tā·p̄ōś תִּתָּפֵ֔שׂ . . . tit·tā·p̄êś תִּנָּתֵ֑ן and delivered tin·nā·ṯên וּבְיָד֖וֹ into his hand . ū·ḇə·yā·ḏōw תִּרְאֶ֗ינָה You will see tir·’e·nāh מֶֽלֶךְ־ the king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֜ל of Babylon bā·ḇel וְֽ֠עֵינֶיךָ eye wə·‘ê·ne·ḵā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֵינֵ֨י to eye ‘ê·nê יְדַבֵּ֖ר and speak with him yə·ḏab·bêr וּפִ֛יהוּ face ū·p̄î·hū אֶת־ to ’eṯ- פִּ֥יךָ face ; pî·ḵā תָּבֽוֹא׃ and you will go tā·ḇō·w וּבָבֶ֥ל to Babylon . ū·ḇā·ḇel Jeremiah 34:4 אַ֚ךְ Yet ’aḵ שְׁמַ֣ע hear šə·ma‘ דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ O Zedekiah ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh כֹּֽה־ This is what kōh- יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֤ר says ’ā·mar עָלֶ֔יךָ concerning you : ‘ā·le·ḵā לֹ֥א You will not lō תָמ֖וּת die ṯā·mūṯ בֶּחָֽרֶב׃ by the sword ; be·ḥā·reḇ Jeremiah 34:5 תָּמ֗וּת you will die tā·mūṯ בְּשָׁל֣וֹם in peace . bə·šā·lō·wm וּֽכְמִשְׂרְפ֣וֹת As [spices] were burned ū·ḵə·miś·rə·p̄ō·wṯ אֲ֠בוֹתֶיךָ for your fathers , ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯe·ḵā הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֜ים the former hā·ri·šō·nîm הַמְּלָכִ֨ים kings ham·mə·lā·ḵîm אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- הָי֣וּ preceded hā·yū לְפָנֶ֗יךָ you , lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā כֵּ֚ן so kên יִשְׂרְפוּ־ [people] will burn [spices] yiś·rə·p̄ū- לָ֔ךְ for you lāḵ יִסְפְּדוּ־ and lament yis·pə·ḏū- לָ֑ךְ , lāḵ וְה֥וֹי ‘ Alas , wə·hō·w אָד֖וֹן O master !’ ’ā·ḏō·wn כִּֽי־ For kî- אֲנִֽי־ I Myself ’ă·nî- דִבַּ֖רְתִּי have spoken ḏib·bar·tî דָבָ֥ר this word , ḏā·ḇār נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . ” Yah·weh Jeremiah 34:6 בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ In Jerusalem, then , bî·rū·šā·lim יִרְמְיָ֣הוּ Jeremiah yir·mə·yā·hū הַנָּבִ֔יא the prophet han·nā·ḇî וַיְדַבֵּר֙ relayed way·ḏab·bêr כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵ֖לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֥ים words had·də·ḇā·rîm אֶל־ to ’el- צִדְקִיָּ֖הוּ Zedekiah ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh אֵ֛ת - ’êṯ
