תְּנ֣וּ and give tə·nū בְּנֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ your daughters bə·nō·w·ṯê·ḵem לַֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים in marriage , la·’ă·nā·šîm וְתֵלַ֖דְנָה so that they too may have wə·ṯê·laḏ·nāh בָּנִ֣ים sons bā·nîm וּבָנ֑וֹת and daughters . ū·ḇā·nō·wṯ וּרְבוּ־ Multiply ū·rə·ḇū- שָׁ֖ם there ; šām וְאַל־ do not wə·’al- תִּמְעָֽטוּ׃ decrease . tim·‘ā·ṭū Jeremiah 29:7 וְדִרְשׁ֞וּ Seek wə·ḏir·šū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁל֣וֹם the prosperity šə·lō·wm הָעִ֗יר of the city hā·‘îr אֲשֶׁ֨ר to which ’ă·šer הִגְלֵ֤יתִי I have sent you as exiles . hiḡ·lê·ṯî אֶתְכֶם֙ - ’eṯ·ḵem שָׁ֔מָּה - šām·māh וְהִתְפַּֽלְל֥וּ Pray wə·hiṯ·pal·lū אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh בַעֲדָ֖הּ on its behalf , ḇa·‘ă·ḏāh כִּ֣י for kî בִשְׁלוֹמָ֔הּ if it prospers , ḇiš·lō·w·māh יִהְיֶ֥ה . . . yih·yeh לָכֶ֖ם you too lā·ḵem שָׁלֽוֹם׃פ will prosper . ” šā·lō·wm Jeremiah 29:8 כִּי֩ For kî כֹ֨ה this is what ḵōh יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאוֹת֙ of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֜ר says : ’ā·mar אַל־ “ Do not ’al- יַשִּׁ֧יאוּ be deceived yaš·šî·’ū לָכֶ֛ם lā·ḵem נְבִֽיאֵיכֶ֥ם by the prophets nə·ḇî·’ê·ḵem וְקֹֽסְמֵיכֶ֑ם and diviners wə·qō·sə·mê·ḵem אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֖ם among you , bə·qir·bə·ḵem וְאַֽל־ and do not wə·’al- תִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ listen tiš·mə·‘ū אֶל־ to ’el- חֲלֹמֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם the dreams ḥă·lō·mō·ṯê·ḵem אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer אַתֶּ֖ם you elicit from them ’at·tem מַחְלְמִֽים׃ . . . . maḥ·lə·mîm Jeremiah 29:9 כִּ֣י For kî הֵ֛ם they hêm נִבְּאִ֥ים are falsely prophesying nib·bə·’îm בְשֶׁ֔קֶר . . . ḇə·še·qer לָכֶ֖ם to you lā·ḵem בִּשְׁמִ֑י in My name ; biš·mî לֹ֥א I have not lō שְׁלַחְתִּ֖ים sent them , šə·laḥ·tîm נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH . ” Yah·weh Jeremiah 29:10 כִּֽי־ For kî- כֹה֙ this is what ḵōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar כִּ֠י “ When kî לְפִ֞י . . . lə·p̄î לְבָבֶ֛ל Babylon’s lə·ḇā·ḇel שִׁבְעִ֥ים seventy šiḇ·‘îm שָׁנָ֖ה years šā·nāh מְלֹ֧את are complete , mə·lōṯ אֶפְקֹ֣ד I will attend to ’ep̄·qōḏ אֶתְכֶ֑ם you ’eṯ·ḵem וַהֲקִמֹתִ֤י and confirm wa·hă·qi·mō·ṯî דְּבָרִ֣י My promise də·ḇā·rî הַטּ֔וֹב . . . haṭ·ṭō·wḇ עֲלֵיכֶם֙ - ‘ă·lê·ḵem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לְהָשִׁ֣יב to restore lə·hā·šîḇ אֶתְכֶ֔ם you ’eṯ·ḵem אֶל־ to ’el- הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַמָּק֖וֹם place . ham·mā·qō·wm Jeremiah 29:11 כִּי֩ For kî אָנֹכִ֨י I ’ā·nō·ḵî יָדַ֜עְתִּי know yā·ḏa‘·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמַּחֲשָׁבֹ֗ת the plans ham·ma·ḥă·šā·ḇōṯ
