Jeremiah 28:13 הָלוֹךְ֩ “ Go hā·lō·wḵ וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ and tell wə·’ā·mar·tā אֶל־ . . . ’el- חֲנַנְיָ֜ה Hananiah ḥă·nan·yāh כֹּ֚ה that this is what kōh אָמַ֣ר . . . ’ā·mar יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh לֵאמֹ֗ר says : lê·mōr שָׁבָ֑רְתָּ ‘ You have broken šā·ḇā·rə·tā מוֹטֹ֥ת a yoke mō·w·ṭōṯ עֵ֖ץ of wood , ‘êṣ תַחְתֵּיהֶ֖ן but in its place ṯaḥ·tê·hen וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ you have fashioned wə·‘ā·śî·ṯā מֹט֥וֹת a yoke mō·ṭō·wṯ בַּרְזֶֽל׃ of iron .’ bar·zel Jeremiah 28:14 כִּ֣י For kî כֹֽה־ this is what ḵōh- יְהוָ֨ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֜וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַר֩ says : ’ā·mar נָתַ֜תִּי ‘ I have put nā·ṯat·tî עֹ֣ל a yoke ‘ōl בַּרְזֶ֡ל of iron bar·zel עַל־ on ‘al- צַוַּ֣אר׀ the neck ṣaw·war כָּל־ of all kāl- הָאֵ֗לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַגּוֹיִ֣ם nations hag·gō·w·yim לַעֲבֹ֛ד to make them serve la·‘ă·ḇōḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֥ר Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇu·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֖ל of Babylon , bā·ḇel וַעֲבָדֻ֑הוּ and they will serve him . wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏu·hū וְגַ֛ם I have even wə·ḡam אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נָתַ֥תִּי given him control nā·ṯat·tî לֽוֹ׃ lōw חַיַּ֥ת of the beasts ḥay·yaṯ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה of the field . ’” haś·śā·ḏeh Jeremiah 28:15 הַנָּבִ֛יא Then the prophet han·nā·ḇî יִרְמְיָ֧ה Jeremiah yir·mə·yāh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- הַנָּבִ֖יא the prophet han·nā·ḇî חֲנַנְיָ֥ה Hananiah , ḥă·nan·yāh שְׁמַֽע־ “ Listen , šə·ma‘- נָ֣א . . . nā חֲנַנְיָ֑ה Hananiah ! ḥă·nan·yāh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh לֹֽא־ did not lō- שְׁלָחֲךָ֣ send you , šə·lā·ḥă·ḵā וְאַתָּ֗ה but you wə·’at·tāh הַזֶּ֖ה have persuaded haz·zeh הָעָ֥ם this people hā·‘ām הִבְטַ֛חְתָּ to trust hiḇ·ṭaḥ·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַל־ in ‘al- שָֽׁקֶר׃ a lie . šā·qer Jeremiah 28:16 לָכֵ֗ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּ֚ה this is what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh הִנְנִי֙ . . . hin·nî אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar מְשַֽׁלֵּֽחֲךָ֔ ‘ I am about to remove you mə·šal·lê·ḥă·ḵā מֵעַ֖ל from mê·‘al פְּנֵ֣י the face pə·nê הָאֲדָמָ֑ה of the earth . hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אַתָּ֣ה You ’at·tāh מֵ֔ת will die mêṯ הַשָּׁנָה֙ this year haš·šā·nāh כִּֽי־ because kî- דִבַּ֖רְתָּ you have preached ḏib·bar·tā סָרָ֥ה rebellion sā·rāh אֶל־ against ’el- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . ’” Yah·weh Jeremiah 28:17 הַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃פ And in the seventh haš·šə·ḇî·‘î בַּחֹ֖דֶשׁ month ba·ḥō·ḏeš הַהִ֑יא of that very ha·hî בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה year , baš·šā·nāh הַנָּבִ֖יא the prophet han·nā·ḇî חֲנַנְיָ֥ה Hananiah ḥă·nan·yāh וַיָּ֛מָת died . way·yā·māṯ
