Exodus 12:42 לַֽיהוָ֔ה Because YHWH Yah·weh שִׁמֻּרִ֥ים kept a vigil šim·mu·rîm הוּא֙ that hū לֵ֣יל night lêl לְהוֹצִיאָ֖ם to bring them lə·hō·w·ṣî·’ām מֵאֶ֣רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim הֽוּא־ . . . hū- הַזֶּה֙ this same haz·zeh הַלַּ֤יְלָה night [is to be a vigil ] hal·lay·lāh לַֽיהוָ֔ה to YHWH , Yah·weh שִׁמֻּרִ֛ים to be observed šim·mu·rîm לְכָל־ by all lə·ḵāl בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃פ for the generations to come . lə·ḏō·rō·ṯām Exodus 12:43 יְהוָה֙ And YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֣ה Moses mō·šeh וְאַהֲרֹ֔ן and Aaron , wə·’a·hă·rōn זֹ֖את “ This zōṯ חֻקַּ֣ת is the statute ḥuq·qaṯ הַפָּ֑סַח of the Passover : hap·pā·saḥ כָּל־ No kāl- לֹא־ . . . lō- בֶּן־ foreigner ben- נֵכָ֖ר . . . nê·ḵār יֹ֥אכַל is to eat yō·ḵal בּֽוֹ׃ of it . bōw Exodus 12:44 וְכָל־ But any wə·ḵāl עֶ֥בֶד slave [who] ‘e·ḇeḏ אִ֖ישׁ vvv ’îš מִקְנַת־ has been purchased miq·naṯ- כָּ֑סֶף . . . kā·sep̄ יֹ֥אכַל may eat yō·ḵal בּֽוֹ׃ of it , bōw וּמַלְתָּ֣ה after you have circumcised him . ū·mal·tāh אֹת֔וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw אָ֖ז - ’āz Exodus 12:45 תּוֹשָׁ֥ב A temporary resident tō·wō·šāḇ וְשָׂכִ֖יר or hired hand wə·śā·ḵîr לֹא־ shall not lō- יֹ֥אכַל־ eat yō·ḵal- בּֽוֹ׃ [the Passover] . bōw Exodus 12:46 יֵאָכֵ֔ל It must be eaten yê·’ā·ḵêl אֶחָד֙ inside one ’e·ḥāḏ בְּבַ֤יִת house . bə·ḇa·yiṯ לֹא־ You are not lō- תוֹצִ֧יא to take ṯō·w·ṣî מִן־ any of min- הַבָּשָׂ֖ר the meat hab·bā·śār מִן־ outside min- ח֑וּצָה . . . ḥū·ṣāh הַבַּ֛יִת the house , hab·ba·yiṯ לֹ֥א and you may not lō תִשְׁבְּרוּ־ break ṯiš·bə·rū- בֽוֹ׃ ḇōw וְעֶ֖צֶם any of the bones . wə·‘e·ṣem Exodus 12:47 כָּל־ The whole kāl- עֲדַ֥ת congregation ‘ă·ḏaṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יַעֲשׂ֥וּ must celebrate ya·‘ă·śū אֹתֽוֹ׃ it . ’ō·ṯōw Exodus 12:48 וְכִֽי־ If wə·ḵî- גֵּ֗ר a foreigner gêr יָג֨וּר resides yā·ḡūr אִתְּךָ֜ with ’it·tə·ḵā וְעָ֣שָׂה you and wants to celebrate wə·‘ā·śāh לַיהוָה֒ YHWH’s Yah·weh פֶסַח֮ Passover , p̄e·saḥ כָל־ all the ḵāl זָכָ֗ר males [in the household] zā·ḵār הִמּ֧וֹל must be circumcised him·mō·wl ל֣וֹ ; lōw וְאָז֙ then wə·’āz יִקְרַ֣ב he may come near yiq·raḇ לַעֲשֹׂת֔וֹ to celebrate it , la·‘ă·śō·ṯōw וְהָיָ֖ה and he shall be wə·hā·yāh כְּאֶזְרַ֣ח like a native kə·’ez·raḥ
