Exodus 12:36 וַֽיהוָ֞ה And YHWH Yah·weh נָתַ֨ן gave nā·ṯan אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָעָ֛ם the people hā·‘ām חֵ֥ן such favor ḥên בְּעֵינֵ֥י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê מִצְרַ֖יִם of the Egyptians miṣ·ra·yim וַיַּשְׁאִל֑וּם that they granted their request . way·yaš·’i·lūm וַֽיְנַצְּל֖וּ In this way they plundered way·naṣ·ṣə·lū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִצְרָֽיִם׃פ the Egyptians . miṣ·rā·yim Exodus 12:37 בְנֵֽי־ The Israelites ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּסְע֧וּ journeyed way·yis·‘ū מֵרַעְמְסֵ֖ס from Rameses mê·ra‘·mə·sês סֻכֹּ֑תָה to Succoth suk·kō·ṯāh כְּשֵׁשׁ־ with about 600,000 kə·šêš- מֵא֨וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ אֶ֧לֶף . . . ’e·lep̄ הַגְּבָרִ֖ים men hag·gə·ḇā·rîm רַגְלִ֛י on foot , raḡ·lî לְבַ֥ד besides lə·ḇaḏ מִטָּֽף׃ women and children . miṭ·ṭāp̄ Exodus 12:38 עֵ֥רֶב And a mixed ‘ê·reḇ רַ֖ב multitude raḇ וְגַם־ also wə·ḡam- עָלָ֣ה went up ‘ā·lāh אִתָּ֑ם with them , ’it·tām כָּבֵ֥ד along with great droves of kā·ḇêḏ מְאֹֽד׃ . . . mə·’ōḏ מִקְנֶ֖ה livestock , miq·neh וְצֹ֣אן both flocks wə·ṣōn וּבָקָ֔ר and herds . ū·ḇā·qār Exodus 12:39 כִּ֣י Since kî הַבָּצֵ֜ק their dough hab·bā·ṣêq לֹ֣א had no lō חָמֵ֑ץ leaven , ḥā·mêṣ וַיֹּאפ֨וּ the people baked way·yō·p̄ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer הוֹצִ֧יאוּ what they had brought hō·w·ṣî·’ū מִמִּצְרַ֛יִם out of Egypt mim·miṣ·ra·yim מַצּ֖וֹת into unleavened maṣ·ṣō·wṯ עֻגֹ֥ת loaves . ‘u·ḡōṯ כִּֽי־ For kî- גֹרְשׁ֣וּ when they had been driven out ḡō·rə·šū מִמִּצְרַ֗יִם of Egypt , mim·miṣ·ra·yim יָֽכְלוּ֙ they could yā·ḵə·lū וְלֹ֤א not wə·lō לְהִתְמַהְמֵ֔הַּ delay lə·hiṯ·mah·mê·ah וְגַם־ and wə·ḡam- לֹא־ had not lō- עָשׂ֥וּ prepared ‘ā·śū צֵדָ֖ה any provisions ṣê·ḏāh לָהֶֽם׃ for themselves . lā·hem Exodus 12:40 וּמוֹשַׁב֙ Now the duration ū·mō·wō·šaḇ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer בְּנֵ֣י vvv bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of the Israelites’ yiś·rā·’êl יָשְׁב֖וּ stay yā·šə·ḇū בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם in Egypt bə·miṣ·rā·yim שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים was 430 šə·lō·šîm וְאַרְבַּ֥ע . . . wə·’ar·ba‘ מֵא֖וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ שָׁנָֽה׃ . . . šā·nāh שָׁנָ֔ה years . šā·nāh Exodus 12:41 וַיְהִ֗י - way·hî מִקֵּץ֙ At the end miq·qêṣ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים of the 430 šə·lō·šîm וְאַרְבַּ֥ע . . . wə·’ar·ba‘ מֵא֖וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ שָׁנָ֑ה . . . šā·nāh וַיְהִ֗י . . . way·hî שָׁנָ֔ה years , šā·nāh הַזֶּ֔ה to the haz·zeh בְּעֶ֙צֶם֙ very bə·‘e·ṣem הַיּ֣וֹם day , hay·yō·wm כָּל־ all kāl- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH’s Yah·weh צִבְא֥וֹת divisions ṣiḇ·’ō·wṯ יָֽצְא֛וּ went out yā·ṣə·’ū מֵאֶ֥רֶץ of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim
