אָמַ֤ר says : ’ā·mar הָאֵ֑לֶּה ‘ Like these hā·’êl·leh הַטֹּב֖וֹת good haṭ·ṭō·ḇō·wṯ כַּתְּאֵנִ֥ים figs , kat·tə·’ê·nîm כֵּֽן־ so kên- אַכִּ֞יר I regard ’ak·kîr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לְטוֹבָֽה׃ as good lə·ṭō·w·ḇāh גָּל֣וּת the exiles gā·lūṯ יְהוּדָ֗ה from Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh אֲשֶׁ֨ר whom ’ă·šer שִׁלַּ֜חְתִּי I have sent away šil·laḥ·tî מִן־ from min- הַזֶּ֛ה this haz·zeh הַמָּק֥וֹם place ham·mā·qō·wm אֶ֥רֶץ to the land ’e·reṣ כַּשְׂדִּ֖ים of the Chaldeans . kaś·dîm Jeremiah 24:6 וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י I will keep wə·śam·tî עֵינִ֤י My eyes ‘ê·nî עֲלֵיהֶם֙ on them ‘ă·lê·hem לְטוֹבָ֔ה for good lə·ṭō·w·ḇāh וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֖ים and will return them wa·hă·ši·ḇō·ṯîm עַל־ to ‘al- הַזֹּ֑את this haz·zōṯ הָאָ֣רֶץ land . hā·’ā·reṣ וּבְנִיתִים֙ I will build them up ū·ḇə·nî·ṯîm וְלֹ֣א and not wə·lō אֶהֱרֹ֔ס tear [them] down ; ’e·hĕ·rōs וּנְטַעְתִּ֖ים I will plant them ū·nə·ṭa‘·tîm וְלֹ֥א and not wə·lō אֶתּֽוֹשׁ׃ uproot them . ’et·tō·wōš Jeremiah 24:7 וְנָתַתִּי֩ I will give wə·nā·ṯat·tî לָהֶ֨ם them lā·hem לֵ֜ב a heart lêḇ לָדַ֣עַת to know Me , lā·ḏa·‘aṯ אֹתִ֗י - ’ō·ṯî כִּ֚י that kî אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֔ה am YHWH . Yah·weh וְהָיוּ־ They will be wə·hā·yū- לִ֣י My lî לְעָ֔ם people , lə·‘ām וְאָ֣נֹכִ֔י and I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî אֶהְיֶ֥ה will be ’eh·yeh לָהֶ֖ם their lā·hem לֵאלֹהִ֑ים God , lê·lō·hîm כִּֽי־ for kî- יָשֻׁ֥בוּ they will return yā·šu·ḇū אֵלַ֖י to Me ’ê·lay בְּכָל־ with all bə·ḵāl לִבָּֽם׃ס their heart . lib·bām Jeremiah 24:8 הָֽרָע֔וֹת But like the bad hā·rā·‘ō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer וְכַתְּאֵנִים֙ figs , wə·ḵat·tə·’ê·nîm מֵרֹ֑עַ so bad mê·rō·a‘ כִּי־ . . . kî- לֹא־ they cannot lō- תֵאָכַ֖לְנָה be eaten , ’ ṯê·’ā·ḵal·nāh כֹ֣ה׀ - ḵōh אָמַ֣ר says ’ā·mar יְהוָ֗ה YHWH , Yah·weh כֵּ֣ן ‘ so kên אֶ֠תֵּן will I deal with ’et·tên אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִדְקִיָּ֨הוּ Zedekiah ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יְהוּדָ֤ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- שָׂרָיו֙ his officials , śā·rāw וְאֵ֣ת׀ - wə·’êṯ שְׁאֵרִ֣ית and the remnant šə·’ê·rîṯ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם of Jerusalem — yə·rū·šā·lim הַנִּשְׁאָרִים֙ those remaining han·niš·’ā·rîm הַזֹּ֔את in this haz·zōṯ בָּאָ֣רֶץ land bā·’ā·reṣ וְהַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים and those living wə·hay·yō·šə·ḇîm בְּאֶ֥רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Jeremiah 24:9 וּנְתַתִּים֙ I will make them ū·nə·ṯat·tîm לִזְוָעָה a horror liz·wå̄·ʿå̄h לְרָעָ֔ה and an offense lə·rā·‘āh לְכֹ֖ל to all lə·ḵōl מַמְלְכ֣וֹת the kingdoms mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ הָאָ֑רֶץ of the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ לְחֶרְפָּ֤ה a disgrace lə·ḥer·pāh וּלְמָשָׁל֙ and an object of scorn , ū·lə·mā·šāl לִשְׁנִינָ֣ה ridicule , liš·nî·nāh וְלִקְלָלָ֔ה and cursing wə·liq·lā·lāh
