וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- הָאִ֥ישׁ man hā·’îš בֵּיתֽוֹ׃ and his household . bê·ṯōw Jeremiah 23:35 כֹּ֥ה This is what kōh אִ֥ישׁ each man ’îš תֹאמְר֛וּ is to say ṯō·mə·rū עַל־ to ‘al- רֵעֵ֖הוּ his friend rê·‘ê·hū וְאִ֣ישׁ . . . wə·’îš אֶל־ and to ’el- אָחִ֑יו his brother : ’ā·ḥîw מֶה־ ‘ What meh- יְהוָ֔ה has YHWH Yah·weh עָנָ֣ה answered ? ’ ‘ā·nāh וּמַה־ or ‘What ū·mah- יְהוָֽה׃ has YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֖ר spoken ?’ dib·ber Jeremiah 23:36 תִזְכְּרוּ־ But refer ṯiz·kə·rū- לֹ֣א no lō ע֑וֹד more ‘ō·wḏ וּמַשָּׂ֥א to the burden ū·maś·śā יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כִּ֣י for kî לְאִ֣ישׁ each lə·’îš דְּבָר֔וֹ man’s word də·ḇā·rōw יִֽהְיֶה֙ becomes yih·yeh הַמַּשָּׂ֗א the burden , ham·maś·śā וַהֲפַכְתֶּ֗ם so that you pervert wa·hă·p̄aḵ·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דִּבְרֵי֙ the words diḇ·rê חַיִּ֔ים of the living ḥay·yîm אֱלֹהִ֣ים God , ’ĕ·lō·hîm יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֖וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ our God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū Jeremiah 23:37 כֹּ֥ה Thus kōh תֹאמַ֖ר you are to say ṯō·mar אֶל־ to ’el- הַנָּבִ֑יא the prophet : han·nā·ḇî מֶה־ ‘ What meh- יְהוָ֔ה has YHWH Yah·weh עָנָ֣ךְ answered you ? ’ ‘ā·nāḵ וּמַה־ and ‘What ū·mah- יְהוָֽה׃ has YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֖ר spoken ? ’ dib·ber Jeremiah 23:38 וְאִם־ But if wə·’im- תֹּאמֵרוּ֒ you claim , tō·mê·rū מַשָּׂ֣א ‘ This is the burden maś·śā יְהוָה֮ of YHWH , ’ Yah·weh לָכֵ֗ן then lā·ḵên כֹּ֚ה this is what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar יַ֧עַן Because ya·‘an אֲמָרְכֶ֛ם you have said , ’ă·mā·rə·ḵem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַדָּבָ֥ר - had·dā·ḇār הַזֶּ֖ה . . . haz·zeh מַשָּׂ֣א ‘ This is the burden maś·śā יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , ’ Yah·weh וָאֶשְׁלַ֤ח and I specifically told wā·’eš·laḥ אֲלֵיכֶם֙ . . . ’ă·lê·ḵem לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr לֹ֥א you not lō תֹאמְר֖וּ to make this claim ṯō·mə·rū מַשָּׂ֥א - maś·śā יְהוָֽה׃ - , Yah·weh Jeremiah 23:39 לָכֵ֣ן therefore lā·ḵên הִנְנִ֔י I will surely hin·nî וְנָשִׁ֥יתִי forget wə·nā·šî·ṯî אֶתְכֶ֖ם you ’eṯ·ḵem נָשֹׁ֑א vvv nā·šō וְנָטַשְׁתִּ֣י and will cast you wə·nā·ṭaš·tî מֵעַ֥ל out of mê·‘al פָּנָֽי׃ My presence , pā·nāy אֶתְכֶ֗ם both you ’eṯ·ḵem וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הָעִיר֙ the city hā·‘îr אֲשֶׁ֨ר that ’ă·šer נָתַ֧תִּי I gave nā·ṯat·tî לָכֶ֛ם to you lā·ḵem וְלַאֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם and your fathers . wə·la·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem
