Jeremiah 23:23 אָ֖נִי “ Am I [only] ’ā·nî הַאֱלֹהֵ֧י a God ha·’ĕ·lō·hê מִקָּרֹ֛ב nearby , ” miq·qā·rōḇ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh וְלֹ֥א “ and not wə·lō אֱלֹהֵ֖י a God ’ĕ·lō·hê מֵרָחֹֽק׃ far away ? ” mê·rā·ḥōq Jeremiah 23:24 אִם־ “ Can ’im- אִ֧ישׁ a man ’îš יִסָּתֵ֨ר hide yis·sā·ṯêr בַּמִּסְתָּרִ֛ים in secret places bam·mis·tā·rîm וַאֲנִ֥י where I wa·’ă·nî לֹֽא־ cannot lō- אֶרְאֶ֖נּוּ see him ? ” ’er·’en·nū נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh אֲנִ֥י “ Do I ’ă·nî הֲל֨וֹא not hă·lō·w אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מָלֵ֖א fill mā·lê הַשָּׁמַ֧יִם the heavens haš·šā·ma·yim וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הָאָ֛רֶץ the earth ? ” hā·’ā·reṣ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 23:25 שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי “ I have heard šā·ma‘·tî אֵ֤ת - ’êṯ אָֽמְרוּ֙ the sayings ’ā·mə·rū אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- הַנְּבִאִ֔ים of the prophets han·nə·ḇi·’îm הַֽנִּבְּאִ֥ים who prophesy han·nib·bə·’îm שֶׁ֖קֶר lies še·qer לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . lê·mōr בִּשְׁמִ֛י in My name : biš·mî חָלַ֖מְתִּי ‘ I had a dream ! ḥā·lam·tî חָלָֽמְתִּי׃ I had a dream !’ ḥā·lā·mə·tî Jeremiah 23:26 עַד־ How long ‘aḏ- מָתַ֗י . . . mā·ṯay הֲיֵ֛שׁ will this continue hă·yêš בְּלֵ֥ב in the hearts bə·lêḇ הַנְּבִאִ֖ים of these prophets han·nə·ḇi·’îm נִבְּאֵ֣י who prophesy nib·bə·’ê הַשָּׁ֑קֶר falsehood , haš·šā·qer וּנְבִיאֵ֖י these prophets ū·nə·ḇî·’ê תַּרְמִ֥ת of the delusion tar·miṯ לִבָּֽם׃ of their own minds ? lib·bām Jeremiah 23:27 הַחֹשְׁבִ֗ים They suppose ha·ḥō·šə·ḇîm בַּחֲל֣וֹמֹתָ֔ם the dreams ba·ḥă·lō·w·mō·ṯām אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer יְסַפְּר֖וּ they tell yə·sap·pə·rū אִ֣ישׁ one ’îš לְרֵעֵ֑הוּ another lə·rê·‘ê·hū עַמִּי֙ {will make} My people ‘am·mî לְהַשְׁכִּ֤יחַ forget lə·haš·kî·aḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁמִ֔י My name , šə·mî כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר just as ka·’ă·šer אֲבוֹתָ֛ם their fathers ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שָׁכְח֧וּ forgot šā·ḵə·ḥū שְׁמִ֖י My name šə·mî בַּבָּֽעַל׃ through the worship of Baal . bab·bā·‘al Jeremiah 23:28 הַנָּבִ֞יא Let the prophet han·nā·ḇî אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- אִתּ֤וֹ has ’it·tōw חֲלוֹם֙ a dream ḥă·lō·wm יְסַפֵּ֣ר retell yə·sap·pêr חֲל֔וֹם [it] , ḥă·lō·wm וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר but let him who wa·’ă·šer אִתּ֔וֹ has ’it·tōw דְּבָרִי֙ My word də·ḇā·rî יְדַבֵּ֥ר speak yə·ḏab·bêr דְּבָרִ֖י [it] də·ḇā·rî אֱמֶ֑ת truthfully . ’ĕ·meṯ מַה־ For what mah- לַתֶּ֥בֶן is straw lat·te·ḇen אֶת־ compared to ’eṯ- הַבָּ֖ר grain ? ” hab·bār נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH .
