דַרְכָּ֜ם their path ḏar·kām לָהֶ֗ם . . . lā·hem יִֽהְיֶ֨ה will become yih·yeh כַּחֲלַקְלַקּוֹת֙ slick ; ka·ḥă·laq·laq·qō·wṯ יִדַּ֖חוּ they will be driven away yid·da·ḥū בָּֽאֲפֵלָ֔ה into the darkness bā·’ă·p̄ê·lāh וְנָ֣פְלוּ and fall wə·nā·p̄ə·lū בָ֑הּ into it . ḇāh כִּֽי־ For kî- אָבִ֨יא I will bring ’ā·ḇî רָעָ֛ה disaster rā·‘āh עֲלֵיהֶ֥ם upon them ‘ă·lê·hem שְׁנַ֥ת in the year šə·naṯ פְּקֻדָּתָ֖ם of their punishment , ” pə·qud·dā·ṯām נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 23:13 וּבִנְבִיאֵ֥י “ Among the prophets ū·ḇin·ḇî·’ê שֹׁמְר֖וֹן of Samaria šō·mə·rō·wn רָאִ֣יתִי I saw rā·’î·ṯî תִפְלָ֑ה an offensive thing : ṯip̄·lāh הִנַּבְּא֣וּ They prophesied hin·nab·bə·’ū בַבַּ֔עַל by Baal ḇab·ba·‘al עַמִּ֖י and led My people ‘am·mî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ס Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַיַּתְע֥וּ astray . way·yaṯ·‘ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- Jeremiah 23:14 וּבִנְבִאֵ֨י And among the prophets ū·ḇin·ḇi·’ê יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim רָאִ֣יתִי I have seen rā·’î·ṯî שַׁעֲרוּרָ֗ה a horrible thing : ša·‘ă·rū·rāh נָא֞וֹף They commit adultery nā·’ō·wp̄ וְהָלֹ֤ךְ and walk wə·hā·lōḵ בַּשֶּׁ֙קֶר֙ in lies . baš·še·qer וְחִזְּקוּ֙ They strengthen wə·ḥiz·zə·qū יְדֵ֣י the hands yə·ḏê מְרֵעִ֔ים of evildoers , mə·rê·‘îm לְבִ֨לְתִּי־ so that no lə·ḇil·tî- אִ֖ישׁ one ’îš שָׁ֔בוּ turns his back šā·ḇū מֵרָֽעָת֑וֹ on wickedness . mê·rā·‘ā·ṯōw הָֽיוּ־ They are hā·yū- כֻלָּם֙ all ḵul·lām כִּסְדֹ֔ם like Sodom kis·ḏōm לִ֤י to Me ; lî וְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָ the people of Jerusalem wə·yō·šə·ḇe·hā כַּעֲמֹרָֽה׃ס are like Gomorrah . ” ka·‘ă·mō·rāh Jeremiah 23:15 לָכֵ֞ן Therefore lā·ḵên כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָ֤ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָאוֹת֙ of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַ֨ר says ’ā·mar עַל־ concerning ‘al- הַנְּבִאִ֔ים the prophets : han·nə·ḇi·’îm הִנְנִ֨י . . . hin·nî מַאֲכִ֤יל “ I will feed ma·’ă·ḵîl אוֹתָם֙ them ’ō·w·ṯām לַֽעֲנָ֔ה wormwood la·‘ă·nāh רֹ֑אשׁ and give them poisoned rōš מֵי־ water mê- וְהִשְׁקִתִ֖ים to drink , wə·hiš·qi·ṯîm כִּ֗י for kî מֵאֵת֙ - mê·’êṯ נְבִיאֵ֣י from the prophets nə·ḇî·’ê יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim חֲנֻפָּ֖ה ungodliness ḥă·nup·pāh לְכָל־ . . . lə·ḵāl יָצְאָ֥ה has spread yā·ṣə·’āh הָאָֽרֶץ׃פ throughout the land . ” hā·’ā·reṣ Jeremiah 23:16 כֹּֽה־ This is what kōh- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֗וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ אָמַ֞ר says : ’ā·mar אַֽל־ “ Do not ’al- תִּשְׁמְע֞וּ listen tiš·mə·‘ū עַל־ to ‘al- דִּבְרֵ֤י the words diḇ·rê הַנְּבִאִים֙ of the prophets han·nə·ḇi·’îm הַנִּבְּאִ֣ים who prophesy han·nib·bə·’îm לָכֶ֔ם to you . lā·ḵem מַהְבִּלִ֥ים They are filling you with false hopes mah·bi·lîm הֵ֖מָּה . . . hêm·māh אֶתְכֶ֑ם - . ’eṯ·ḵem יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ They speak yə·ḏab·bê·rū חֲז֤וֹן visions ḥă·zō·wn לִבָּם֙ from their own minds , lib·bām לֹ֖א not lō מִפִּ֥י from the mouth mip·pî
