חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים . . . ḥă·miš·šîm יֽוֹם׃ days . yō·wm Genesis 8:1 אֶת־ But ’eṯ- אֱלֹהִים֙ God ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיִּזְכֹּ֤ר remembered way·yiz·kōr נֹ֔חַ Noah nō·aḥ וְאֵ֤ת - wə·’êṯ כָּל־ and all kāl- הַֽחַיָּה֙ the animals ha·ḥay·yāh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ - kāl- הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה livestock hab·bə·hê·māh אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer אִתּ֖וֹ were with him ’it·tōw בַּתֵּבָ֑ה in the ark . bat·tê·ḇāh אֱלֹהִ֥ים And God ’ĕ·lō·hîm ר֙וּחַ֙ sent a wind rū·aḥ וַיַּעֲבֵ֨ר . . . way·ya·‘ă·ḇêr עַל־ over ‘al- הָאָ֔רֶץ the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ הַמָּֽיִם׃ and the waters ham·mā·yim וַיָּשֹׁ֖כּוּ began to subside . way·yā·šōk·kū Genesis 8:2 מַעְיְנֹ֣ת The springs ma‘·yə·nōṯ תְּה֔וֹם of the deep tə·hō·wm וַֽאֲרֻבֹּ֖ת and the floodgates wa·’ă·rub·bōṯ הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם of the heavens haš·šā·mā·yim וַיִּסָּֽכְרוּ֙ were closed , way·yis·sā·ḵə·rū הַגֶּ֖שֶׁם and the rain hag·ge·šem מִן־ from min- הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ the sky haš·šā·mā·yim וַיִּכָּלֵ֥א was restrained . way·yik·kā·lê Genesis 8:3 הַמַּ֛יִם The waters ham·ma·yim וַיָּשֻׁ֧בוּ receded way·yā·šu·ḇū הָל֣וֹךְ steadily hā·lō·wḵ וָשׁ֑וֹב . . . wā·šō·wḇ מֵעַ֥ל from mê·‘al הָאָ֖רֶץ the earth , hā·’ā·reṣ מִקְצֵ֕ה and after miq·ṣêh וּמְאַ֖ת 150 ū·mə·’aṯ חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים . . . ḥă·miš·šîm יֽוֹם׃ days yō·wm הַמַּ֔יִם the waters ham·ma·yim וַיַּחְסְר֣וּ had gone down . way·yaḥ·sə·rū Genesis 8:4 בְּשִׁבְעָה־ On the seventeenth bə·šiḇ·‘āh- עָשָׂ֥ר . . . ‘ā·śār י֖וֹם day yō·wm לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ - la·ḥō·ḏeš הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י of the seventh haš·šə·ḇî·‘î בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ month , ba·ḥō·ḏeš הַתֵּבָה֙ the ark hat·tê·ḇāh וַתָּ֤נַח came to rest wat·tā·naḥ עַ֖ל on ‘al הָרֵ֥י the mountains hā·rê אֲרָרָֽט׃ of Ararat . ’ă·rā·rāṭ Genesis 8:5 וְהַמַּ֗יִם And the waters wə·ham·ma·yim הָיוּ֙ . . . hā·yū הָל֣וֹךְ continued hā·lō·wḵ וְחָס֔וֹר to recede wə·ḥā·sō·wr עַ֖ד until ‘aḏ הָֽעֲשִׂירִ֑י the tenth hā·‘ă·śî·rî הַחֹ֣דֶשׁ month , ha·ḥō·ḏeš בְּאֶחָ֣ד [and] on the first bə·’e·ḥāḏ לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ day la·ḥō·ḏeš בָּֽעֲשִׂירִי֙ of the tenth month bā·‘ă·śî·rî רָאשֵׁ֥י the tops rā·šê הֶֽהָרִֽים׃ of the mountains he·hā·rîm נִרְא֖וּ became visible . nir·’ū Genesis 8:6 וַֽיְהִ֕י - way·hî מִקֵּ֖ץ After miq·qêṣ אַרְבָּעִ֣ים forty ’ar·bā·‘îm י֑וֹם days yō·wm נֹ֔חַ Noah nō·aḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּפְתַּ֣ח opened way·yip̄·taḥ חַלּ֥וֹן the window ḥal·lō·wn אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עָשָֽׂה׃ he had made ‘ā·śāh הַתֵּבָ֖ה in the ark hat·tê·ḇāh Genesis 8:7 וַיְשַׁלַּ֖ח and sent out way·šal·laḥ
