Jeremiah 21:8 תֹּאמַ֔ר Furthermore, you are to tell tō·mar וְאֶל־ . . . wə·’el- הַזֶּה֙ this haz·zeh הָעָ֤ם people hā·‘ām כֹּ֖ה that this is what kōh יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar הִנְנִ֤י ‘ Behold , hin·nî נֹתֵן֙ I set nō·ṯên לִפְנֵיכֶ֔ם before lip̄·nê·ḵem אֶת־ you ’eṯ- דֶּ֥רֶךְ the way de·reḵ הַחַיִּ֖ים of life ha·ḥay·yîm וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- דֶּ֥רֶךְ and the way de·reḵ הַמָּֽוֶת׃ of death . ham·mā·weṯ Jeremiah 21:9 הַיֹּשֵׁב֙ Whoever stays hay·yō·šêḇ הַזֹּ֔את in this haz·zōṯ בָּעִ֣יר city bā·‘îr יָמ֕וּת will die yā·mūṯ בַּחֶ֖רֶב by sword ba·ḥe·reḇ וּבָרָעָ֣ב and famine ū·ḇā·rā·‘āḇ וּבַדָּ֑בֶר and plague , ū·ḇad·dā·ḇer וְהַיּוֹצֵא֩ but whoever goes out wə·hay·yō·w·ṣê וְנָפַ֨ל and surrenders wə·nā·p̄al עַל־ to ‘al- הַכַּשְׂדִּ֜ים the Chaldeans hak·kaś·dîm הַצָּרִ֤ים who besiege haṣ·ṣā·rîm עֲלֵיכֶם֙ you ‘ă·lê·ḵem יִחְיֶה will live ; yiḥ·yɛh וְהָֽיְתָה־ he will retain wə·hā·yə·ṯāh- לּ֥וֹ his lōw נַפְשׁ֖וֹ life nap̄·šōw לְשָׁלָֽל׃ like a spoil of war . lə·šā·lāl Jeremiah 21:10 כִּ֣י For kî שַׂ֣מְתִּי I have set śam·tî פָ֠נַי My face p̄ā·nay הַזֹּ֧את against this haz·zōṯ בָּעִ֨יר city bā·‘îr לְרָעָ֛ה to bring disaster lə·rā·‘āh וְלֹ֥א and not wə·lō לְטוֹבָ֖ה good , lə·ṭō·w·ḇāh נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh תִּנָּתֵ֔ן It will be delivered tin·nā·ṯên בְּיַד־ into the hand bə·yaḏ- מֶ֤לֶךְ of the king me·leḵ בָּבֶל֙ of Babylon , bā·ḇel וּשְׂרָפָ֖הּ who will destroy it ū·śə·rā·p̄āh בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ס with fire .’ bā·’êš Jeremiah 21:11 וּלְבֵית֙ Moreover, [tell] the house ū·lə·ḇêṯ מֶ֣לֶךְ of the king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh שִׁמְע֖וּ to hear šim·‘ū דְּבַר־ the word də·ḇar- יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 21:12 בֵּ֣ית O house bêṯ דָּוִ֗ד of David , dā·wiḏ כֹּ֚ה this is what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar דִּ֤ינוּ ‘ Administer dî·nū מִשְׁפָּ֔ט justice every morning miš·pāṭ לַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ . . . , lab·bō·qer וְהַצִּ֥ילוּ and rescue wə·haṣ·ṣî·lū גָז֖וּל the victim of robbery ḡā·zūl מִיַּ֣ד from the hand mî·yaḏ עוֹשֵׁ֑ק of his oppressor , ‘ō·wō·šêq פֶּן־ or pen- חֲמָתִ֗י My wrath ḥă·mā·ṯî תֵּצֵ֨א will go forth tê·ṣê כָאֵ֜שׁ like fire ḵā·’êš וּבָעֲרָה֙ and burn ū·ḇā·‘ă·rāh וְאֵ֣ין with no one wə·’ên מְכַבֶּ֔ה to extinguish it mə·ḵab·beh מִפְּנֵ֖י because of mip·pə·nê רֹ֥עַ their evil rō·a‘ מַעַלְלֵיהֶם׃ deeds . ma·ʿa·lə·lē·hɛm Jeremiah 21:13 הִנְנִ֨י Behold , hin·nî אֵלַ֜יִךְ I am against you ’ê·la·yiḵ יֹשֶׁ֧בֶת who dwell yō·še·ḇeṯ הָעֵ֛מֶק above the valley , hā·‘ê·meq צ֥וּר atop the rocky ṣūr הַמִּישֹׁ֖ר plateau — ham·mî·šōr נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um-
