הַזֶּ֡ה of this haz·zeh הַבַּ֣יִת palace hab·ba·yiṯ רֹֽכְבִים֙ riding rō·ḵə·ḇîm בָּרֶ֣כֶב on chariots bā·re·ḵeḇ וּבַסּוּסִ֔ים and horses — ū·ḇas·sū·sîm ה֥וּא they hū וְעַבְדּוֹ and their officials wə·ʿaḇ·dō וְעַמּֽוֹ׃ and their people . wə·‘am·mōw Jeremiah 22:5 וְאִם֙ But if wə·’im לֹ֣א you do not lō תִשְׁמְע֔וּ obey ṯiš·mə·‘ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֵ֑לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֖ים words , had·də·ḇā·rîm נִשְׁבַּ֙עְתִּי֙ then I swear niš·ba‘·tî בִּ֤י by Myself , bî נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh כִּי־ that kî- הַזֶּֽה׃ס this haz·zeh הַבַּ֥יִת house hab·ba·yiṯ יִֽהְיֶ֖ה will become yih·yeh לְחָרְבָּ֥ה a pile of rubble . ’” lə·ḥā·rə·bāh Jeremiah 22:6 כִּֽי־ For kî- כֹ֣ה׀ this is what ḵōh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says ’ā·mar עַל־ concerning ‘al- בֵּית֙ the house bêṯ מֶ֣לֶךְ of the king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah : yə·hū·ḏāh אַתָּ֛ה “ You ’at·tāh גִּלְעָ֥ד are like Gilead gil·‘āḏ לִ֖י to Me , lî רֹ֣אשׁ like the summit rōš הַלְּבָנ֑וֹן of Lebanon ; hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn אִם־ but I will surely ’im- לֹ֤א . . . lō אֲשִֽׁיתְךָ֙ turn you ’ă·šî·ṯə·ḵā מִדְבָּ֔ר into a desert , miḏ·bār עָרִ֖ים like cities ‘ā·rîm לֹ֥א that are uninhabited lō נוֹשָׁבָה׃ . . . . nō·šå̄·ḇå̄h Jeremiah 22:7 וְקִדַּשְׁתִּ֥י I will appoint wə·qid·daš·tî מַשְׁחִתִ֖ים destroyers maš·ḥi·ṯîm עָלֶ֛יךָ against you , ‘ā·le·ḵā אִ֣ישׁ each man ’îš וְכֵלָ֑יו with his weapons , wə·ḵê·lāw וְכָֽרְתוּ֙ and they will cut down wə·ḵā·rə·ṯū מִבְחַ֣ר the choicest miḇ·ḥar אֲרָזֶ֔יךָ of your cedars ’ă·rā·ze·ḵā וְהִפִּ֖ילוּ and throw them wə·hip·pî·lū עַל־ into ‘al- הָאֵֽשׁ׃ the fire . hā·’êš Jeremiah 22:8 רַבִּ֔ים And many rab·bîm גּוֹיִ֣ם nations gō·w·yim וְעָֽבְרוּ֙ will pass wə·‘ā·ḇə·rū עַ֖ל by ‘al הַזֹּ֑את this haz·zōṯ הָעִ֣יר city hā·‘îr וְאָֽמְרוּ֙ and ask wə·’ā·mə·rū אִ֣ישׁ one ’îš אֶל־ . . . ’el- רֵעֵ֔הוּ another , rê·‘ê·hū עַל־ ‘ Why ‘al- מֶ֨ה . . . meh יְהוָה֙ has YHWH Yah·weh עָשָׂ֤ה done ‘ā·śāh כָּ֔כָה such a thing kā·ḵāh הַזֹּֽאת׃ to this haz·zōṯ הַגְּדוֹלָ֖ה great hag·gə·ḏō·w·lāh לָעִ֥יר city ?’ lā·‘îr Jeremiah 22:9 וְאָ֣מְר֔וּ Then [people] will reply , wə·’ā·mə·rū עַ֚ל ‘ Because ‘al אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עָֽזְב֔וּ they have forsaken ‘ā·zə·ḇū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִ֥ית the covenant bə·rîṯ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם their God ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֛וּ and have worshiped way·yiš·ta·ḥă·wū וַיַּעַבְדֽוּם׃ס and served way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏūm אֲחֵרִ֖ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm לֵאלֹהִ֥ים gods . ’” lê·lō·hîm
