דְבַר־ the word ḏə·ḇar- יְהוָ֜ה of YHWH , Yah·weh מַלְכֵ֤י O kings mal·ḵê יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh וְכָל־ all [people] wə·ḵāl יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְכֹ֖ל [and] wə·ḵōl יֹשְׁבֵ֣י . . . yō·šə·ḇê יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim הַבָּאִ֖ים who enter hab·bā·’îm הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ס through these hā·’êl·leh בַּשְּׁעָרִ֥ים gates . baš·šə·‘ā·rîm Jeremiah 17:21 כֹּ֚ה This is what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar הִשָּׁמְר֖וּ Take heed hiš·šā·mə·rū בְּנַפְשֽׁוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם for yourselves ; bə·nap̄·šō·w·ṯê·ḵem וְאַל־ do not wə·’al- תִּשְׂא֤וּ carry tiś·’ū מַשָּׂא֙ a load maś·śā וַהֲבֵאתֶ֖ם [or] bring it wa·hă·ḇê·ṯem בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֥י through the gates bə·ša·‘ă·rê יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת on the Sabbath haš·šab·bāṯ בְּי֣וֹם day . bə·yō·wm Jeremiah 17:22 וְלֹא־ You must not wə·lō- מַשָּׂ֤א carry a load maś·śā תוֹצִ֨יאוּ out ṯō·w·ṣî·’ū מִבָּֽתֵּיכֶם֙ of your houses mib·bāt·tê·ḵem תַֽעֲשׂ֑וּ or do ṯa·‘ă·śū וְכָל־ any wə·ḵāl מְלָאכָ֖ה work mə·lā·ḵāh הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת on the Sabbath haš·šab·bāṯ בְּי֣וֹם day , bə·yō·wm לֹ֣א . . . lō וְקִדַּשְׁתֶּם֙ but you must keep wə·qid·daš·tem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת the Sabbath haš·šab·bāṯ י֣וֹם day {holy} , yō·wm כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר just as ka·’ă·šer צִוִּ֖יתִי I commanded ṣiw·wî·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ your forefathers . ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem Jeremiah 17:23 וְלֹ֣א Yet they would not wə·lō שָֽׁמְע֔וּ listen šā·mə·‘ū וְלֹ֥א . . . wə·lō הִטּ֖וּ or incline hiṭ·ṭū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָזְנָ֑ם their ear , ’ā·zə·nām וַיַּקְשׁוּ֙ but they stiffened way·yaq·šū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עָרְפָּ֔ם their necks ‘ā·rə·pām לְבִלְתִּ֣י and would not lə·ḇil·tî שׁוֹמֵעַ listen šō·mē·aʿ וּלְבִלְתִּ֖י . . . ū·lə·ḇil·tî קַ֥חַת or receive qa·ḥaṯ מוּסָֽר׃ My discipline . mū·sār Jeremiah 17:24 אִם־ If , ’im- וְ֠הָיָה however , wə·hā·yāh שָׁמֹ֨עַ you listen carefully šā·mō·a‘ תִּשְׁמְע֤וּן . . . tiš·mə·‘ūn אֵלַי֙ to Me , ’ê·lay נְאֻם־ says nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh הָבִ֣יא and bring hā·ḇî לְבִלְתִּ֣י׀ no lə·ḇil·tî מַשָּׂ֗א load maś·śā בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֛י through the gates bə·ša·‘ă·rê הַזֹּ֖את of this haz·zōṯ הָעִ֥יר city hā·‘îr הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת on the Sabbath haš·šab·bāṯ בְּי֣וֹם day , bə·yō·wm וּלְקַדֵּשׁ֙ and keep ū·lə·qad·dêš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשַּׁבָּ֔ת the Sabbath haš·šab·bāṯ י֣וֹם day {holy} , yō·wm עֲשֽׂוֹת־ and do ‘ă·śō·wṯ- כָּל־ - kāl- לְבִלְתִּ֥י no lə·ḇil·tî מְלָאכָֽה׃ work mə·lā·ḵāh בֹּה on it , bōh Jeremiah 17:25 מְלָכִ֣ים׀ then kings mə·lā·ḵîm וְשָׂרִ֡ים and princes wə·śā·rîm וּבָ֣אוּ will enter ū·ḇā·’ū בְשַׁעֲרֵ֣י through the gates ḇə·ša·‘ă·rê
