ל֣וּחַ the tablets lū·aḥ לִבָּ֔ם of their hearts lib·bām וּלְקַרְנ֖וֹת and on the horns ū·lə·qar·nō·wṯ מִזְבְּחוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ of their altars . miz·bə·ḥō·w·ṯê·ḵem Jeremiah 17:2 בְּנֵיהֶם֙ Even their children bə·nê·hem כִּזְכֹּ֤ר remember kiz·kōr מִזְבְּחוֹתָ֔ם their altars miz·bə·ḥō·w·ṯām וַאֲשֵׁרֵיהֶ֖ם and Asherah poles wa·’ă·šê·rê·hem עַל־ by ‘al- רַֽעֲנָ֑ן the green ra·‘ă·nān עֵ֣ץ trees ‘êṣ עַ֖ל [and] on ‘al הַגְּבֹהֽוֹת׃ the high hag·gə·ḇō·hō·wṯ גְּבָע֥וֹת hills . gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ Jeremiah 17:3 הֲרָרִי֙ O My mountain hă·rā·rî בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה in the countryside , baś·śā·ḏeh אֶתֵּ֑ן I will give over ’et·tên חֵילְךָ֥ your wealth ḥê·lə·ḵā כָל־ and all ḵāl אוֹצְרוֹתֶ֖יךָ your treasures ’ō·wṣ·rō·w·ṯe·ḵā לָבַ֣ז as plunder , lā·ḇaz בְּחַטָּ֖את because of the sin bə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ בָּמֹתֶ֕יךָ of your high places , bā·mō·ṯe·ḵā בְּכָל־ within all bə·ḵāl גְּבוּלֶֽיךָ׃ your borders . gə·ḇū·le·ḵā Jeremiah 17:4 וְשָׁמַטְתָּ֗ה And you yourself will relinquish wə·šā·maṭ·tāh וּבְךָ֙ ū·ḇə·ḵā מִנַּחֲלָֽתְךָ֙ the inheritance min·na·ḥă·lā·ṯə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer נָתַ֣תִּי I gave nā·ṯat·tî לָ֔ךְ you . lāḵ וְהַעֲבַדְתִּ֙יךָ֙ I will enslave you wə·ha·‘ă·ḇaḏ·tî·ḵā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֹ֣יְבֶ֔יךָ to your enemies ’ō·yə·ḇe·ḵā בָּאָ֖רֶץ in a land bā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ you do not lō- יָדָ֑עְתָּ know , yā·ḏā·‘ə·tā כִּֽי־ for kî- אֵ֛שׁ you have kindled ’êš קְדַחְתֶּ֥ם . . . qə·ḏaḥ·tem בְּאַפִּ֖י My anger ; bə·’ap·pî תּוּקָֽד׃ס it will burn tū·qāḏ עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- עוֹלָ֥ם . . . . ” ‘ō·w·lām Jeremiah 17:5 כֹּ֣ה׀ This is what kōh יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar אָר֤וּר “ Cursed is ’ā·rūr הַגֶּ֙בֶר֙ the man hag·ge·ḇer אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer יִבְטַ֣ח trusts yiḇ·ṭaḥ בָּֽאָדָ֔ם in mankind , bā·’ā·ḏām וְשָׂ֥ם who makes wə·śām בָּשָׂ֖ר the flesh bā·śār זְרֹע֑וֹ his strength zə·rō·‘ōw יָס֥וּר and turns yā·sūr לִבּֽוֹ׃ his heart lib·bōw וּמִן־ from ū·min- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH . Yah·weh Jeremiah 17:6 וְהָיָה֙ He will be wə·hā·yāh כְּעַרְעָ֣ר like a shrub kə·‘ar·‘ār בָּֽעֲרָבָ֔ה in the desert ; bā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh וְלֹ֥א he will not wə·lō יִרְאֶ֖ה see yir·’eh כִּי־ when kî- ט֑וֹב prosperity ṭō·wḇ יָב֣וֹא comes . yā·ḇō·w וְשָׁכַ֤ן He will dwell wə·šā·ḵan חֲרֵרִים֙ in the parched places ḥă·rê·rîm בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר of the desert , bam·miḏ·bār מְלֵחָ֖ה in a salt mə·lê·ḥāh אֶ֥רֶץ land ’e·reṣ וְלֹ֥א where no wə·lō תֵשֵֽׁב׃ס one lives . ṯê·šêḇ Jeremiah 17:7 בָּר֣וּךְ But blessed bā·rūḵ הַגֶּ֔בֶר [is] the man hag·ge·ḇer אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer יִבְטַ֖ח trusts yiḇ·ṭaḥ בַּֽיהוָ֑ה in YHWH , Yah·weh מִבְטַחֽוֹ׃ whose confidence miḇ·ṭa·ḥōw וְהָיָ֥ה is wə·hā·yāh
