כָּל־ . . . kāl- גִּבְעָ֔ה and hill , giḇ·‘āh וּמִנְּקִיקֵ֖י even from the clefts ū·min·nə·qî·qê הַסְּלָעִֽים׃ of the rocks . has·sə·lā·‘îm Jeremiah 16:17 כִּ֤י For kî עֵינַי֙ My eyes ‘ê·nay עַל־ [are] on ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- דַּרְכֵיהֶ֔ם their ways . dar·ḵê·hem לֹ֥א They are not lō נִסְתְּר֖וּ hidden nis·tə·rū מִלְּפָנָ֑י from My face , mil·lə·p̄ā·nāy עֲוֺנָ֖ם and their guilt ‘ă·wō·nām וְלֹֽא־ is not wə·lō- נִצְפַּ֥ן concealed niṣ·pan מִנֶּ֥גֶד from min·ne·ḡeḏ עֵינָֽי׃ My eyes . ‘ê·nāy Jeremiah 16:18 רִֽאשׁוֹנָ֗ה And I will first ri·šō·w·nāh וְשִׁלַּמְתִּ֣י repay them wə·šil·lam·tî מִשְׁנֵ֤ה double miš·nêh עֲוֺנָם֙ their iniquity ‘ă·wō·nām וְחַטָּאתָ֔ם and their sin , wə·ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯām עַ֖ל because ‘al חַלְּלָ֣ם they have defiled ḥal·lə·lām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אַרְצִ֑י My land ’ar·ṣî בְּנִבְלַ֤ת with the carcasses bə·niḇ·laṯ שִׁקּֽוּצֵיהֶם֙ of their detestable idols , šiq·qū·ṣê·hem מָלְא֖וּ and they have filled mā·lə·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נַחֲלָתִֽי׃ס My inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯî וְתוֹעֲב֣וֹתֵיהֶ֔ם with their abominations . ” wə·ṯō·w·‘ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·hem Jeremiah 16:19 יְהוָ֞ה O YHWH , Yah·weh עֻזִּ֧י my strength ‘uz·zî וּמָעֻזִּ֛י and my fortress , ū·mā·‘uz·zî וּמְנוּסִ֖י my refuge ū·mə·nū·sî בְּי֣וֹם in the day bə·yō·wm צָרָ֑ה of distress , ṣā·rāh גּוֹיִ֤ם the nations gō·w·yim יָבֹ֙אוּ֙ will come yā·ḇō·’ū אֵלֶ֗יךָ to You ’ê·le·ḵā מֵֽאַפְסֵי־ from the ends mê·’ap̄·sê- אָ֔רֶץ of the earth , ’ā·reṣ וְיֹאמְר֗וּ and they will say , wə·yō·mə·rū אֲבוֹתֵ֔ינוּ “ Our fathers ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·nū נָחֲל֣וּ inherited nā·ḥă·lū אַךְ־ nothing but ’aḵ- שֶׁ֙קֶר֙ lies , še·qer הֶ֖בֶל worthless idols he·ḇel וְאֵֽין־ of no wə·’ên- בָּ֥ם bām מוֹעִֽיל׃ benefit at all . mō·w·‘îl Jeremiah 16:20 אָדָ֖ם Can man ’ā·ḏām הֲיַעֲשֶׂה־ make hă·ya·‘ă·śeh- אֱלֹהִ֑ים gods ’ĕ·lō·hîm לּ֥וֹ for himself ? lōw וְהֵ֖מָּה Such wə·hêm·māh לֹ֥א are not lō אֱלֹהִֽים׃ gods ! ” ’ĕ·lō·hîm Jeremiah 16:21 לָכֵן֙ “ Therefore lā·ḵên הִנְנִ֣י behold , hin·nî מֽוֹדִיעָ֔ם I will inform them , mō·w·ḏî·‘ām הַזֹּ֔את and this haz·zōṯ בַּפַּ֣עַם time bap·pa·‘am אוֹדִיעֵ֥ם I will make them know ’ō·w·ḏî·‘êm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדִ֖י My power yā·ḏî וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- גְּבֽוּרָתִ֑י and My might ; gə·ḇū·rā·ṯî וְיָדְע֖וּ then they will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּֽי־ that kî- שְׁמִ֥י My name šə·mî יְהוָֽה׃ס is YHWH .
