Jeremiah 15:2 וְהָיָ֛ה - wə·hā·yāh כִּֽי־ If kî- יֹאמְר֥וּ they ask you , yō·mə·rū אֵלֶ֖יךָ . . . ’ê·le·ḵā אָ֣נָה ‘ Where ’ā·nāh נֵצֵ֑א shall we go ? ’ nê·ṣê וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ you are to tell them wə·’ā·mar·tā אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם that ’ă·lê·hem כֹּֽה־ this is what kōh- יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar אֲשֶׁ֨ר ‘ Those ’ă·šer לַמָּ֤וֶת destined for death , lam·mā·weṯ לַמָּ֙וֶת֙ to death ; lam·mā·weṯ וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר those wa·’ă·šer לַחֶ֙רֶב֙ destined for the sword , la·ḥe·reḇ לַחֶ֔רֶב to the sword ; la·ḥe·reḇ וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר those wa·’ă·šer לָֽרָעָב֙ destined for famine , lā·rā·‘āḇ לָֽרָעָ֔ב to famine ; lā·rā·‘āḇ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר and those wa·’ă·šer לַשְּׁבִ֖י destined for captivity , laš·šə·ḇî לַשֶּֽׁבִי׃ to captivity . ’ laš·še·ḇî Jeremiah 15:3 וּפָקַדְתִּ֨י I will appoint ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tî עֲלֵיהֶ֜ם over them ‘ă·lê·hem אַרְבַּ֤ע four ’ar·ba‘ מִשְׁפָּחוֹת֙ kinds of destroyers , miš·pā·ḥō·wṯ נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH : Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַחֶ֣רֶב the sword ha·ḥe·reḇ לַֽהֲרֹ֔ג to kill , la·hă·rōḡ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַכְּלָבִ֖ים the dogs hak·kə·lā·ḇîm לִסְחֹ֑ב to drag away , lis·ḥōḇ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- ע֧וֹף and the birds ‘ō·wp̄ הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם of the air haš·šā·ma·yim וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בֶּהֱמַ֥ת and beasts be·hĕ·maṯ הָאָ֖רֶץ of the earth hā·’ā·reṣ לֶאֱכֹ֥ל to devour le·’ĕ·ḵōl וּלְהַשְׁחִֽית׃ and destroy . ū·lə·haš·ḥîṯ Jeremiah 15:4 וּנְתַתִּ֣ים I will make them ū·nə·ṯat·tîm לִזְוָעָה a horror liz·wå̄·ʿå̄h לְכֹ֖ל to all lə·ḵōl מַמְלְכ֣וֹת the kingdoms mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ הָאָ֑רֶץ of the earth hā·’ā·reṣ בִּ֠גְלַל because of biḡ·lal אֲשֶׁר־ what ’ă·šer- מְנַשֶּׁ֤ה Manasseh mə·naš·šeh בֶן־ son ḇen- יְחִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ of Hezekiah yə·ḥiz·qî·yā·hū מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh עַ֥ל - ‘al עָשָׂ֖ה did ‘ā·śāh בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem . bî·rū·šā·lim Jeremiah 15:5 כִּ֠י - kî מִֽי־ Who mî- יַחְמֹ֤ל will have pity yaḥ·mōl עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ on you , ‘ā·la·yiḵ יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם O Jerusalem ? yə·rū·šā·lim וּמִ֖י Who ū·mî יָנ֣וּד will mourn yā·nūḏ לָ֑ךְ for you ? lāḵ וּמִ֣י Who ū·mî יָס֔וּר will turn aside yā·sūr לִשְׁאֹ֥ל to ask liš·’ōl לְשָׁלֹ֖ם about your welfare lə·šā·lōm לָֽךְ׃ ? lāḵ Jeremiah 15:6 אַ֣תְּ You ’at נָטַ֥שְׁתְּ have forsaken nā·ṭašt אֹתִ֛י Me , ’ō·ṯî נְאֻם־ declares nə·’um- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH . Yah·weh אָח֣וֹר You have turned your back ’ā·ḥō·wr תֵּלֵ֑כִי . . . . tê·lê·ḵî וָאַ֨ט So I will stretch out wā·’aṭ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדִ֤י My hand yā·ḏî עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ against you ‘ā·la·yiḵ וָֽאַשְׁחִיתֵ֔ךְ and I will destroy you ; wā·’aš·ḥî·ṯêḵ נִלְאֵ֖יתִי I am weary nil·’ê·ṯî הִנָּחֵֽם׃ of showing compassion . hin·nā·ḥêm
