אָמַ֨ר says ’ā·mar הַזֶּ֗ה about this haz·zeh לָעָ֣ם people : lā·‘ām כֵּ֤ן “ Truly kên אָֽהֲבוּ֙ they love ’ā·hă·ḇū לָנ֔וּעַ to wander ; lā·nū·a‘ לֹ֣א they have not lō חָשָׂ֑כוּ restrained ḥā·śā·ḵū רַגְלֵיהֶ֖ם their feet . raḡ·lê·hem וַיהוָה֙ So YHWH Yah·weh לֹ֣א does not lō רָצָ֔ם accept them ; rā·ṣām עַתָּה֙ He will now ‘at·tāh יִזְכֹּ֣ר remember yiz·kōr עֲוֺנָ֔ם their guilt ‘ă·wō·nām וְיִפְקֹ֖ד and call their sins to account wə·yip̄·qōḏ חַטֹּאתָֽם׃ס . . . . ” ḥaṭ·ṭō·ṯām Jeremiah 14:11 יְהוָ֖ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלָ֑י to me , ’ê·lāy אַל־ “ Do not ’al- תִּתְפַּלֵּ֛ל pray tiṯ·pal·lêl בְּעַד־ for bə·‘aḏ- לְטוֹבָֽה׃ the well-being lə·ṭō·w·ḇāh הַזֶּ֖ה of this haz·zeh הָעָ֥ם people . hā·‘ām Jeremiah 14:12 כִּ֣י Although kî יָצֻ֗מוּ they may fast , yā·ṣu·mū אֵינֶ֤נִּי I will not ’ê·nen·nî שֹׁמֵ֙עַ֙ listen to šō·mê·a‘ אֶל־ . . . ’el- רִנָּתָ֔ם their cry ; rin·nā·ṯām וְכִ֧י although wə·ḵî יַעֲל֛וּ they may offer ya·‘ă·lū עֹלָ֥ה burnt offerings ‘ō·lāh וּמִנְחָ֖ה and grain offerings , ū·min·ḥāh אֵינֶ֣נִּי I will not ’ê·nen·nî רֹצָ֑ם accept them . rō·ṣām כִּ֗י Instead , kî אָנֹכִ֖י I ’ā·nō·ḵî מְכַלֶּ֥ה will finish them off mə·ḵal·leh אוֹתָֽם׃ס - ’ō·w·ṯām בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ by sword ba·ḥe·reḇ וּבָרָעָ֣ב and famine ū·ḇā·rā·‘āḇ וּבַדֶּ֔בֶר and plague .” ū·ḇad·de·ḇer Jeremiah 14:13 אֲהָ֣הּ׀ “ Ah , ’ă·hāh אֲדֹנָ֣י Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יְהוִ֗ה YHWH ! ” Yah·weh וָאֹמַ֞ר I replied , wā·’ō·mar הִנֵּ֨ה “ Look , hin·nêh הַנְּבִאִ֜ים the prophets han·nə·ḇi·’îm אֹמְרִ֤ים are telling ’ō·mə·rîm לָהֶם֙ them , lā·hem לֹֽא־ ‘ You will not lō- תִרְא֣וּ see ṯir·’ū חֶ֔רֶב the sword ḥe·reḇ יִהְיֶ֣ה or suffer yih·yeh לָכֶ֑ם lā·ḵem וְרָעָ֖ב famine , wə·rā·‘āḇ לֹֽא־ . . . lō- כִּֽי־ but kî- אֶתֵּ֣ן I will give ’et·tên לָכֶ֔ם you lā·ḵem אֱמֶת֙ lasting ’ĕ·meṯ שְׁל֤וֹם peace šə·lō·wm הַזֶּֽה׃ס in this haz·zeh בַּמָּק֖וֹם place . ’” bam·mā·qō·wm Jeremiah 14:14 הַנְּבִאִים֙ “ The prophets han·nə·ḇi·’îm נִבְּאִ֣ים are prophesying nib·bə·’îm שֶׁ֚קֶר lies qer בִּשְׁמִ֔י in My name , ” biš·mî וַיֹּ֨אמֶר replied way·yō·mer יְהוָ֜ה YHWH Yah·weh אֵלַ֗י . ’ê·lay לֹ֤א “ I did not lō שְׁלַחְתִּים֙ send them šə·laḥ·tîm וְלֹ֣א [or] wə·lō צִוִּיתִ֔ים appoint them ṣiw·wî·ṯîm וְלֹ֥א [or] wə·lō דִבַּ֖רְתִּי speak ḏib·bar·tî אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם to them . ’ă·lê·hem הֵ֖מָּה They hêm·māh מִֽתְנַבְּאִ֥ים are prophesying miṯ·nab·bə·’îm לָכֶֽם׃ס to you lā·ḵem שֶׁ֜קֶר a false še·qer חֲז֨וֹן vision , ḥă·zō·wn וְקֶ֤סֶם a worthless divination , wə·qe·sem וֶאֱלוּל the futility wɛ·ʾɛ̆·lūl
